dude, great presentation. just a little advice on jumping the pump. pin 85 is ground and 86 is positive. if you jump those pins, it will spark and hopefully blow a fuse. you want to send the power from 30 to 87 with a wire, that will turn the pump on.
Your video gave me a lot of good information. My situation, I do not have power to the fuel pump with relay in place. Using the jump wire method, I do get power to the harness pump does not run. I have changed out relays with no success of getting power to the harness at fuel pump. So My concern or question. Might I have a computer issue? And a ground is not being sent to the relay. I or power being switched to the pump.? And or a bad pump also? Thanks
My chrysler 300 decided to stall on me on the freeway. It cranks but wont start there is no fuel pressure. It has 2 new fuel pumps relay and fuses.Theres 2 codes that pop up on the OBD scanner P2068 P0463. If i were to check the computer for ground where and how can i check? Please ive had my car sitting for 3 months now and i cant afford a tow to the shop at the moment thanks
Does the wire trick prevent the fuel pump from being shutoff in the case of a collision? Im under the impression that the relay would be triggered and shut off power to the fuel pump if it detects a collision. Is this true, I have a 2006 Chrysler 300c
Thank you for creating the video, it is much appreciated. I've been working on a 2007 300C and found that I got 12 volts on the pair of wires you said was used for comms. The wire colours are blue/white and Black not the wires with the heavier insulation (Blue/Orange & Black/Orange). I found the 12 volts when the ignition was switched on so it has to be the power for the pump doesn't it? I got nothing on the heavier wires at all.Thanks.
I think the 12 volt switched I found on the pump plug was supplied to power an electric fuel gauge send. I just tried bypassing the relay and connected the positive of the 20 amp fuse through to the connection on the distribution board but still got nothing. Maybe something has happened to the wiring between the distribution board and the fuel pump connector. I am going to try connecting the fuel pump directly to the battery and see if the pump runs.
I had my fuel pump replaced. However, after starting my car it goes down .5 RPMs it feels like it's vibrating. There's also a ticking noise coming from my engine on the left front passenger side And the other symptom that seems to be present is my car steering feels stiff. Also, when starting my car it sometimes gets stuck and start. And lastly my shifter seems hard to shift. Would you say these are all coming things after installing a fuel pump? And if they are how do I put them back to normal
can bypassing the relay cause damage to the board? Is bypassing it a permanent solution? Also, is there another way of fixing this issue without getting it replaced with another tipm?
I put the wire in from your video ok turn the key of and the pump keeps on running i would of thort once the key was of it would of stoped the pump .but thank aussie bloke
Please if you see this i need help finding the inertia switch in my 2005 chrysler. Car wont do anything after stalling 3 times, i think its the switch saving the pump from burning out
Can you help please? When I turn the key to off everything goes off apart from the engine. The only way to stop it is by removing the fuel pump fuse, but that only stops the engine, not all the electronics so I have a flat battery. Thanks Mark
Very very very helpful presentation! Most excellent. Thank you for making this precise, concise video that we can all understand.
Great vid had this exact problem and you explained it perfectly and also provided location and steps needed to resolve the issue

Are you getting power at the fuel pump connecter
I got the same problem. What did you find out
And have power at wire harness. Could the new pump be bad?
So what did you find out on the P2068 code. I have the same issue
🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌 thank you!! Explained it very well.

Nice headlights. Did you have to change the bulb to get leds and if so which ones?

Thanks - this really helped me out!
Nice video all the info you need thks
What u mean if u measure 12 bolts between the ground n power wire. What do measure mean
I replaced my fuel pump but I hear clicking no humming when I turn the key. Fuse 20 looked fine and so did the relay.
Excellent explanation
Any ideas how to remove the fule pump lock? I tryed everything from a flathead, autozone ring remover..hammer? I can't get to ring to turn to remove
Hit fire out of it
P2068 does the fuel pump need to be changed?

No you having transmission problems and engine issues, nothing that a fp has anything to do with.
Echt Gute arbeit mein freund !
Your amazing... just subscribed and hit the bell
Nice job save me a couple of hour not looking through Manual’s
Very nice video
will the car start with the jumper wire in place of the relay?when i could here the pump humming
I have a 300 chrysler 2.7 don't stay on what can that be
My 2006 3.5 300 won't go over 3000 rpm changed fuel pumps but still acting up
Change throttle body
@@michaelcasillas7775 changed throttle body didnt help it ended up being the computer
replaced fuel pimp relay can sensor crank sensor winds over and still not starting even replace battery in key
Great video
Help! Where is the inertia switch/relay located exactly? Please help!

There is no inertia switch
My horn and ac isn’t working where is that fuse
So if my fuel gauge does not read how much fuel is in the system then it's the pump
did you ever figure out? after replacing my fuel pump my gauge isn’t reading anymore
Yep bad wire on pump
Badass video good stuff very informative 👌
Great help
What if you have a code p2066?
