Georgia has unbelievably reach culture for a such small nation. Georgian cuisine is a fine reflection of it's culture. I fell in love with it when had to start cooking while my wife was expecting our daughter. 😀 Now our daughter is familiar with many Georgian dishes and when she wants me to cook one of them she just says - cook me something from uncle Zurab. ( My favorite Georgian cook on UA-cam) Jamie is going to have steep learning curve. ☺ God bless Georgia! With love from Canada and Ukraine.

When Jamie's friend and restaurant chef mentioned coriander, I instantly remembered the pots of basil at my grandparents' house in the village, the smell was divine. In Greece, dried oregano is something we use a lot.
OK! This is the 3rd coking show ive seen featuring Georgia....and everytime ive said to myself "buddy..You gotta travel there and eat yourself around that beautiful country!" My next european travel will for sure be to Georgia! ❤

Wow!!!! Georgia’s food is one of the world treasures!!!!!! Every dish is superb with tons of different tastes. I’ve been living in Kutaisi for some time and that’s one of the most amazing times I’ve had in my life. People are so hospitable, so generous, LOVE IT ❤️❤️❤️

Georgian cuisine is delicious. Georgian wines are great. Love it. Georgia is one of my favourite gastronomical centres of the world. The other ones are Italy, France, Spain and Hungary.

You had great introduction to Foods more typical to Tbilisi and East Georgia, please come back and dive into West as well. Walnuts - high in fiber, omega 3's and in general one of the healthiest nuts for humans, then coriander - full of goodies and it chelates aluminum!!!!!! Removing it from the body :) Georgians do know a thing or two about healthy nutrition :)

Alsothe ancient Romans had the custom of storing vessels with produced wine in the ground (so called dolia)..Only that wine production in Georgia began 7-6 thousand years ago, and the Georgian clay kvevri, or wine vessels, came into use 4 thousand years ago. So the Georgians were the first😀
