Great to see another video! It’s been a long time since the last one! Although… the narrator’s A.I voice sounds a bit off….. not as enthusiastic as before
Hi everybody, hope you like this new restoration of 1988 G1 Transformers Powermaster Optimus Prime! Please feel free to leave a comment and let us know what you think. :)
For the chrome removal, the LA Awesome! Cleaner is available at most dollar stores very cheap in the USA. I got mine at Dollar Tree. However, I wouldn't recommend removing chrome if you can just touch it up with a Molotow pen or some Mirror chrome paint from StewartSimple
This is the first vid I've ever seen where the molatov didn't turn grey with a clear coat. Thank you for the this video. Now I know there might be hope to keep that chrome with a mirror finish. Everything I tried made it turn a dull grey.
Hi, and thank you for watching! Yes, the Gloss , Alclad II Klear Kote Lacquer does a good job. You have to apply it a certain way but it will protect the chrome paint w/o loosing the mirror reflectiveness. I made a tutorial on it, here: ua-cam.com/video/8vsK2f-00sg/v-deo.htmlsi=j1dTgxwDe3dTapin
Nice job on this mate! That resin smoke stack looks ace. I'd never heard of liquid mask before so that was interesting to see how that worked. You deserve a lot more subscribers my dude, I hope the algorithm smiles kindly on your channel ;)
Holy cow! A video! Been too long since there's been 1! Enjoyed watching this man! Do you need a trailer? Might be able to help you out if interested. I love my junkers, so I do have a lot of stuff floating around. If there's something you're looking for let me know because I'd love to help out the channel!
Power master prime was my favorite toy growing up. I played with it until it literally fell apart. lol. Could you do a video on how to fix the floppy wings on a vintage gobots leader 1?
Hi, thanks for watching the Power Master Prime video! Yes, I could do a video on Leader 1... I just need one w/ floppy wings... :) I might use a bit of floor polish in the wing joint.
Isn't hydrogen peroxide dangerous? I've had a melted universe Galvatron but some people made videos showing it was just fine with their toys so I guess it doesn't go well with some kinds of plastic
I've never had any negative reactions to the hydrogen peroxide gel that I use. It just removes the yellowing... never had it melt plastic. It may be the type of plastic used for the Universe Galvatron.
Last time I removed stickers I used lighter fluid and it worked more quickly than that goo gone. I did hear that lighter fluid is bad for chrome and clear parts. What has your experience been?
I've never used lighter fluid to remove stickers b/c I always have a bottle of Goo Gone around. However, I 've heard it works pretty good but you do have to be careful on certain surfaces like chrome. Goo Gone works well on all surfaces but does take a little longer to work... you have to let it soak for a bit.

Thanks! Yep, you're right about the voice... I was noticing that too when I was putting the the video together.
Holy crap that smokestack you made....I could not tell the difference bewteen the two. Great job.....
Thanks! I think the paint matching w/ the front grill helped to make everything look cohesive.
@@MisterBobot I agree, it truly did.

I thought about touching it up, @1:11 but in my experience, using the Molotow pens on those front bumper scratches would have looked very patchy.
Mike and Mr Bobot!! Glad to see you again! welcome back! Must watch this video now. :)
Hi Crasher! It's nice to be back and finally do another restoration... enjoy! :)
@@MisterBobot Just finished watching...all I can say is....psssst....very talented and creative person at work here :D Truly 'Not Too Shabby'! :D

Thank you! And yes, please send me your junkers to fix or a trailer for PM Prime... appreciate it. :)
What about the trailer? Are you going to do a video on that?
Yes! I would really like too, but I don't have one as of yet to work on... :) :)

No sticker for the front windows ?
Nope... I'm broke. :)
Great job!! The legs easy to remove?
Thanks! I didn't mess w/ the legs that much but the design is pretty straight forward and they appear to be easily removeable.

Wy not 3d scan for a 3d printer.
This way you can upload the total toy .
And can be rebeult with a 3d printer.
I would really like to do that... just don't have the funds for it right now.
