A real eureka moment when you tightened the screw on the under bobbin, the first person to suggest this. I’ve been struggling trying to get the right tension, but always used the dials on my machine.... Thank you for a clear and concise explanation to the problem,I can now start loving my machine again instead of groaning with frustration 🙃👍

Finally! So it's not just correct tension in the bobbin but also evenly threading around the bobbin that can cause bunching. This was my problem. I noticed that my machine does not evenly thread the bobbin. Instead it is threading it in a conical shape and once I manually guided the thread up the bobbin the threading became evenly up and down. This was the issue. Thank you so much for this! Next I need to find out why my machine is not evenly threading the bobbin.

Radha, I thank you so very much. I re-adjusted my needle, loosened my bobbin & adjusted my upper tension & so far so good. I am very new at this & you have now saved me so much aggravation. I really like the way you explained, very understandable. Again thank you.
Thank you!! You were only one online to mention changing threads! I had major problem with loose loops bottom threads. I CHANGED THREAD from cotton to polyester and solved the problem!!!

Yep! My problem has been solved: Heavier fabric- increase the tension. Now my stitch is looking great. I am also a beginner. Thanks!
