Thank you. I will check all of these. I feel encouraged to get my unloved sewing machine out again. Cheers
Very much appreciated! I always use cones and I didn't know they could be the cause of thread breakage?
Wow, great and clear video even on close-ups. I'm checking tomorrow to see if we can fix tension & breaking problems

Most, if not all shuttle burrs and plate burrs are due to forcing the cloth through, bending the needle, causing it to strike the part and creating the burr. For some, I was able to stone down burrs, but for others, the gouge was far too deep and the part had to be replaced. Only for it to come back with the same problem, as operator error continued. :/
Mom taught me a lot about sewing machines, the rest I learned by figuring their timing out.
Muito bom, são dicas importantíssima, Deus te abençoe.

Im disapointed with how they manufacture the sewing machines. I mean you spend so much to buy one and you, most often, get a product making you feel like you are walking on a land mine. You can only sew with one or two layers. If you start trying to sew pants with a bulky seam you start getting headaches because the machine just wont stitch. If you break a needle you start getting problems with thread breaking. If you sew too fast needles migth break or thread might break. A single scratch on your needle plate and you have to take it for repair. . Its really not a pleasure to use.
You bought a car and if you scratch it, then so much money for repairs. You got married and the girl needs a lot of time and money. And so on. All life is so arranged, for comfort in any form, even the sewing machine has to be paid.
@@sewway i bought a car and it does the job of driving me to my destination despite a scratch or bird pooping on it and I dont marry opportunists. Whereas I bought a sewing machine for SEWING and it does NOT even sew 10 cm before it causes me problems. So NO I wont compare it to a car or a person. Its not worth the money i spent on it. I could not even sew a decent piece of clothing on it.
@@jessjess690 Sounds like you bought the wrong kind of sewing machine. Either that or sewing isn't your forte.
Why grammar wrongs? Always question statement mark?
Short answer it’s either threaded wrong or you have the tension to tight.
