Been a "Home Fry" for years! This group has it all, and doesn't stick to any one genre. They do funny stuff, serious stuff, religious, country, hip-hop, etc...There is no "lead singer", as they switch around. Many of them can sing as HIGH as anyone can, and Tim, and Chance, can sing as low as you've ever heard! IF you want to laugh, check out the "Butts Remix", and if you want to cry, check out "How Great Thou Art". NEVER heard better! Welcome to the rabbit hole of Home Free!
You have to hear them sing When a man loves a woman, Brothers in Arms, Helplessly Hoping, and many more. I think it was Diana Ross that asked them to sing at her 75th. birthday party. How COOL is that. I LOVE HOME FREE. They are the best.
They can sing any genre - R&B, Country, covers, original songs, gospel, whatever. The bass (Tim Foust) has a 5 octave range. Their renditions of "Brothers in Arms" and "Travlin' Soldier' are heart breaking. Tim's original songs "Champagne Taste" and "Full of Cheer" and Austin's original "Cold Hard Cash" are funny as hell. Thanks for your reactions! By the way, they have over a 1/4 of a billion views on their channel. If you play them, your subscription rate will rise in ways that will surprise you.
Tim, the bass, has a 5 octave range. Austin, the redhead, has one of the most pure tenors ever. Bearded man has a smooth gospel sound, and chance is a buttery smooth baritone. Adam, the beatboxer has won so many awards for his talent, if you shut your eyes, you forget he's using his voice! I LOVE boyz II Men, and they did it EXTREME justice..What I love about Home free, they dont have a lead singer, they are ALL so talented that they let everyone shine in all their different songs. I suggest ya'll go see them live if you get the chance. Speaking of a Christmas song by HF, check out "Do you hear what I hear" or an original, written by Tim "Snow globe"
the reaction to Tim's voice and this isn't even his lowest range song lol. Welcome to the Home Fries guys, we will absolutely show you guys nothing but bangers here lol.
You are just getting started, you can't go wrong with anything you choose that Home Free does. You will probably like the "Butts Remix", it's funny. But everything they do is great. "MayDay", "My Church". Everything is good!
Don't let that bass fool you, he has a 5+ octave range! Check out Tim Court solo doing Will You Still Love Me / Stay. Different songs, they ALL DO LEAD!
Think that should be - check out Tim Foust's solo doing Will You Still Love Me/Stay. Also, y'all might like Champagne Taste On A Beer Budget written by Tim, and then Full Of Cheer also written by Tim
Home Free are the best. welcome to the Home Free Rabbit hole. You should check out When A Man Loves A Woman, Hillbilly Bone, Man of Constant Sorrow, Crazy, and so many more. Love your reactions!
If you thought that was fire..Watch them sing Ring Of Fire! ITS AMAZING how low Tom can go! This was a awesome video..harmonies and Adam Rupp’s beatboxing was awesome😮 great reactions🎉 I love Home Free😊
Loving that you decided to react to more Home Free/ Subbing for the Home Free ride. Love your reactions! Please do more soon!! They have many videos. Try Butts Medley, Country Fried Pop Medley, Can't Stop The Feeling, and to really hear the harmonies and because of the past holiday i suggest Brothers In Arms. Home Fry for life!!
I cannot listen to Home Free without being filled with joy and happiness. They crush every single thing they put their skills to. I'm addicted to this bunch of guys and their music and I don't care. The musicianship in this cover is spectacular with every note and phrase and pause and beat working for the good of the composition. No auditory filler or wasted notes. Love this and love Home Free. Great reaction. Ain't Goin' Down Til The Sun Comes Up, The Driver, Blue Ain't Your Color, Folsom Prison Blues, Hillbilly Bone, and Unchained Melody are some really awesome ones they've done that are my favorites and Adam Rupp's drum solo from 2015 (red shirt) will blow your mind. It show cases his insane vocal percussion/beat boxing skills.
One of their newer ones that features their beatboxer, Adam Rupp, doing his "NOmonica" is their cover of "Ain't Going Down Till The Sun Comes Up," posted only on their FB page: facebook.com/watch/?ref=search&v=698741044614261&external_log_id=b2ac8f23-b579-4dc3-a783-bfcb343d78f7&q=home%20free%20%22Ain%27t%20Going%20Down%20(Til%20the%20Sun%20Comes%20Up)%22
Thanks for reacting to Home Free. They are the real deal. When they were on the NBC show the Sing Off Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men was a judge and he loved them. I think they wanted to do right by him. They are a country band but don’t let that mislead you, they sing all genres of music. Tim, the bass, has a 5 octave range and can go super low and sing up high too (amazing really). For fun try the Butts Medley, it’s crazy!😍😃
With these guys ALL BY THE HUMAN VOICE ! They have a LOT of Christmas music....they did one this past Christmas a cover of Stevie Wonder's classic 1967 hit, "What Christmas means to me" and expect to laugh they really cut up....also gotta check out the BUTT'S MEDLEY....another one to laugh with.
Speaking of Christmas, Austin (second Tenor singer) wrote a crazy Christmas Song (video included) titled “Cold Hard Cash”. Displays his talent for writing as well as singing. It’s a great song and so over needed since there really hasn’t been a new Christmas song for a while now.
Great reaction! Just found your channel & subscribed for more Home Free! They are THE BEST a cappella group...PERIOD! You'll realize every time you watch them "Wow, there aren't any instruments"! I've been a huge Home Fry for 4 years & they still amaze me! 😲
Another Home Free, "Home Fry" checking in. Looking forward to more Home Free. They do a lot of country covers and originals but they cover all genres of music. Simply the best acapella group out there.
A few of their originals are 'Champagne Taste On A Beer Budget' and 'Full Of Cheer'. Tim wrote them watch them in that order because he said (jokingly) they are part 1 and 2.
OH, THEY CLEANED UP FOR THIS ONE!! Usually they have an old t shirt , faded jeans and a baseball cap! Even in their live shows. If you think the bass man is low....check out Folsom Prison Blues. Or, if you are familiar with the Hobbit, check out Misty Mountains....and wait for the end. Bassman is Tim Foust. He has a 5-octave range. And their beatboxer is a 2-time World Champion.
These guys do an amazing job of this song! They can do any genre including R&B. Rob's voice has so much feeling & soul in it. Austin adding his higher tones, Chance harmonizing in the back, Tim adding some bass & Adam with his fabulous vocal percussion. These guys are my favorite a cappella group out there. All their songs are good whether it is serious, heart warming or funny.
IMO, nothing will ever replace the original magic from hearing Boyz 11 Men sing this masterpiece, & I am so happy that Home Free, was able to keep the original integrity of the song, yet still inject a little of their own magic, allowing us, to fall in love with it, all over again 💕 *I don't believe any other group, other than Home Free, could have pulled this off* 💕 Great reaction guys!!!
Do You hear What I Hear is fantastic. Their beat boxer ( Adam Rupp) arranged it. It is an older video with Chris Rupp in it, who was the founder of the group. He usually wears a cap, baseball cap, or cowboy hat. He has since left the group to do his own stuff, and Adam Chance has replaced him.
Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole! It's a deep one. These incredibly talented men have well over 100 songs in their catalog covering several different genres. They deliver EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. You won't find a bad song. Prepare to be inundated by Home Fries. These guys have an incredibly loyal fan base.
You've got this listed as Man of Constant Sorrow instead of End of the Road. Great reaction though. Welcome to the Home Fries. It's a great rabbit hole to fall into.
Tim (the bass) has a 5 octave range. He can sing damn near as high as Austin. There's thousands of Home Fries who will subscribe just for your Home Free reactions so do a lot of them not just for subscribers but because they are the best out there. They NEVER disappoint!!! Told you I'd check back in and like promised I subscribed. It's gonna be fun watching you traverse the Home Free rabbit hole.
@@scottdarden3091 Millions of fans but I figure only thousands watch reactors LOL. Of course if people were as smart as some of them think they are there would be hundreds of millions.
Who would think a “country” a cappella group could crush this R&B classic??!! I surely didn’t but I’m sure glad they opened my mind to what’s possible 🤯❤️❤️❤️
Check out their version of Unchained Melody. Amazing. Also, check Home Free’s Bass singer, Tim Foust’s solo single, Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow/Stay. He gets to show off his 5 octave range on that song.
Home Free did a wonderful artful rendition of Unchained Melody early this year, taking it back to its origin in a 1955 prison movie called Chained. (The Righteous Brothers made it a hit 10 years later, which is when most people know it from.) The high tenor, Austin Brown did a video of the same sone 13 months before the group, accompanied by his friend Steven Martinez on guitar. This group covers so many genres of music. You don't have to be a fan of country to love them. They can be serious and soulful like this song, the next video can be so goofy you'll cry laughing. They do a lot of covers, making them their own. but also some songs written by Tim or Austin. The first ones to come to mind right now are Cold Hard Cash (Austin Brown), and Tim Foust's Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget and its sequel Full of Cheer. You don't have to wait for Christmas to enjoy them. BTW The guy in the cowboy hat is the beatboxer's brother and group's co-founder who went solo in 2016. Also, check season 4 of The Sing-Off. They won.
4 of the guys lead in different songs.. The beatboxer Adam can really sing also, but rarely sings a solo part.. They sing a wide variety of music, including some rap.. They are always perfect. Check out "When A Man Loves A Woman", "American Pie (with Don McLean)".. I just subscribed hoping to hear more Home Free..
You haven't even scratched the surface of Home Free! Home Free has 200+ UA-cam videos. You can also find independent channels for Tim Foust (Bass with a 5 octave range), Austin Brown and Adam Chance "Chance." Adam Rupp (co-founder and beat boxer) has several "drum" solo videos. The groups members are: Austin Brown (high tenor / first to sing, he's from GA), Rob Lundquist (lead tenor / second to sing / beard and glasses / he's from MN), Tim Foust (bass / he's from TX), Adam Rupp (beat boxer / he's from MN) and Adam Chance (back left corner / baritone & fills in on bass when Tim's singing lead / he's from AL) Adam Chance uses his last name "Chance" so as not to get the two Adam's confused. In older videos you'll see Chris Rupp (co-founder and brother of Adam Rupp). He left the group in 2016 to embark on a solo career and that's when Chance joined the group. Enjoy the journey!
As far as I'm concerned all of the Home Free guys "emote" through their music/videos better than just about anyone else out there--and in this one Rob showcases his gospel/R&B genius in a way that seems to surprise everyone ❣️❣️❣️
