- There’s something so magical about Christmas. I love it. I wanted to share these beautiful designs with you so you can make your own, so I’ve created templates with an instruction guide and they’re available on my Etsy store: etsy.me/3zHP6DP
I thought these Christmas trees and reindeer would be a perfect addition to the outdoor decor we have in the front of our house. They turned out better than I imagined.
They’re made out of 1/4 inch plywood and I used a Dremel 3000 and a Ryobi Router to cut them out. Then I painted them with my favorite white paint, Chantilly lace, attached lights to the back and hung them on the house using only 4 little screws.
Do you love them as much as I do?

Amazing.I will buy templates today. How much wood i need for this project?Thank you
OMG!!!! Where have you been all my life??? I love these!!!!!
Just downloaded this and ready to cut.

Let me know how it works out. I just printed some of the designs and cut them out with a razor blade. Going to project light behind them to trace the outline. It will save me all of the printed pages and by moving the light farther away I can adjust the height of the tree for the projected stencil. Pro tip for ya!
easiest way and you save paper!@@titelinez432
I missed how you attached the 2x4 to the wooden design.
White wood screws through the front of the panels to the 2x4 behind 😊
Can you tell me what bit you use on your dremel to cut out the silhouettes?
What type of 1/4 inch wood did you use?
The directions say you need 1 piece of 4'x8' plywood, but it appears that is for each half of the tree. You should change your directions to say each tree requires 2 pieces of 4'x8' plywood.
Incorrect. the 2 halves of the tree will fit on 1 4'x8' ... use the edge of the wood as the center of one-half ... and the other edge of the wood for the other half (turned upside down).
Best diy channel. She’s so talented. Very underrated.

Where did you find a 9 foot piece of plywood
She added the 2x4 on the bottom piece to make it taller
@@margaretlewis75 for anyone still interested in this question: she actually added a tip to the top. You can see that at 2:16 there's no top and at 3:01 there's an added top. So it's not just the bottom 2x4 that make the tree taller.
Hopefully you already found it. However, if you go to a contractors lumber yard, not just a big box store, they can usually get in whatever size you need. Most of them will deliver for a nominal fee. I just got 8 sheets of 10 foot plywood delivered for an extra $25.
Do you have this in a bundle or do I have to purchase separately?

What type of sealer are you using? Thanks
What attachment tool did you use on your dremel to cut the plywood?
Wow!! I’m so excited to try this and have hits bought your templates. Hope the harsh Australian sun doesn’t warp them too much
Can you show how each piece attaches to eachother for best support?
What router bit are you using?
Imagine storing all these stuff
Excellent channel, super helpful 😊
How do you get the picture to mark on the plywood?
Just downloaded and printed Halloween and Christmas templates!! Can't wait to get started, thank you!!
I just used your stencil. Very easy to use. Will use them again. Will use a sturdier material next time. I didn't use plywood.
Does anyone sell the wood already cut into the giant tree and deer shapes? For those of us who aren’t DIYers 😂
Beautiful job you've done!! I'm doing this next week while off work a few days. My house has bushes in front so my space from 2x4 is more like 6 feet for the first row of trees. Would you have any suggestions of how I would support that distance? Or anyone here that may know? I'm 66 and doing this with my 18 yr old Grandson. He thinks s 4x4 and all kinds of stuff......God bless him but....any ideas would be most welcome. TYIA
This Looks soooo amazing! Very good work! 🙌🏼
Hi
How did you attaché them to the house ?
I have vinyl siding and live in the North east
I’m concerned the wind will take them if they are not secured
Hello. What you would recommend to use for support if house is not wooden surface?
Absolutely love this!! Definately want to try this for next year!
Would this work against a non solid background, IE plants/shrubs?
What router bit did you use?
I ended up using 1/4 inch straight bit. And for the details a 1/8 bit
thank you for sharing all your tips to attach these to the house...you saving us alot of trial and error in our efforts to display these....I am so excited to try these....
I am so impressed with your ideas and work...wow
Your talent is amazing 🎄cheers from Falkland BC Canada .
Whats the lights description for the cutout?
Where do I find the stand alone video?
Really nice, only thing I would change is the color of the deers, so that they would show at daytime
How to you manage the lights to connect to electricity?
How long are the string lights?
I’d like to know this too.
I can find your pattern in Esty

How do you get the blue print for the print out?
