Nice but for the let it snow, he should have set the cricut to mirror the image. Any words on a window for decoration should be applied so it you can read it from the outside.
With everything are so expensive nowadays, these are excellence idea to brighten up for Christmas, not only it's unexpansive, it's also reusable and I think the children can join the joy of designing too. Great idea.
Exactly! You can make a projector using the flashlight on your cell phone so the cost is low. Lights are so inexpensive these days and use minimal electricity. We all have tape and a box cutter. Reusable, too.
I saw designs just like this for the yard on etsy. I am actually working on 2 deer, 3 trees, and an elf. Then I found your video. I never thought to put them on the inside windows. Great idea! Thanks :-)
Inside is better too, to protect from the window. If you have an Instagram acct post your creativeness I would love to see them.i love anything with deer.
That truly is a stunning exterior effect at very low cost. However, it does look messy from the interior side of the window unless completely hidden by drapery. I could not stand to give up that much sunlight during the short gloomy days of winter.
I'd have to cover the back too! Curtains hung a few inches away from the lights would allow the heat to escape. It would be a gorgeous effect if the right type of material is used, such as a heavier sheer or semi-opaque curtain. That's a great idea...thanks for sharing it! 👏🏻
This man has interior shutters that mask the mess of the back side of the silhouettes. I suppose we could try a muslin drape suspended on a tension rod?
The first 2 ideas were incredible! Thank you for this!! I just shared this video with family & close friends. ♥️ Side note: I’ve been wanting to do something to honor my sweet baby, Bruiser, that passed 3 months ago; I can add a Chihuahua silhouette to the Christmas & Halloween scenes. Even do a woman & Chihuahua silhouette for the other times a year. ♥️💔♥️💔
I'm so glad I came across this video, I think it's a beautiful and inexpensive way to decorate that I'm going to try today. As far as how it looks in the inside it doesn't bother me and for those who don't like the way it looks inside then figure out a way how to cover it up! This gentleman is showing us an idea of how to do an inexpensive decoration. It doesn't mean you have to do it the exact way. Use your imagination to figure out how to change or cover up what you don't like! There are more important things in life to me.... like my husband going through chemo treatments for over a year now. Than to worry about how it looks in the inside. Thank you for sharing your inexpensive Christmas decoration ideas I truly appreciate it! Have a blessed Christmas!💖
Beautiful! I would just recommend painting anything on a drop cloth before placing it in a window. Painting it once it's in the window is an accident waiting to happen. 😬
Thank u. I have an old house with a huge ass old window right in the front close to the road. And it gets moisture on it a lot. I did this trick and it worked perfect. Thank u.
This is really cute, but I’m too lazy to go through all of that 😂. I’m more of a “put a cheap thin white plastic shower curtain over window and project atmosfx projections through it” kinda girl. They have cool moving scenes for people to watch. Set up is a breeze. One for every holiday in a variety of designs.
Drove past a house one Halloween that had the face of a jack-o-lantern silhouetted on the window with an orange drape behind it and the room lit. The window was huge and it was so eye-catching! This made me think of that.
You're so cool! I love it when people take the time to decorate, and your videos are fun to watch - and do. Plus, how often can you hear someone give you instructions on how to cut out cat whiskers?
When I was in highschool, we painted on shop's windows with tempera paint at Christmas time. It washes right off, but double check the product you buy. I think they sell it at dollar tree. I don't know what they used here. Have fun!
@@tamuh5415 little kids use it in school when they are learning to paint if that helps you. Tempera is a type of paint rather than a name brand. Did you run an internet search for it? Sorry, I don't speak German so I'm not much help there! Good luck!
@GoodlyEarth Wonderful job!! Merry Christmas to you!! I do have a question that I really hope you see & answer though!! My daughter really wants to do the stenciling on our windows. We don't have a big picture window, just two small ones. What did the woman in the video use to do the stenciling on the windows that came off so easily please?
The silhoeuttes are so cute ❤️❤️❤️, I just wish there was a solution to cover up the sticky tape and the light Strings on the inside a little during the day.
I love, love, love that Halloween window decoration. Those orange lights really made it stand out perfectly! I would do that but I live in a low income apartment and the owners are nit picky about stuff like that. Especially when it comes to using any tape. Smh.🙄
For those of us that suffer from panic attacks, this man is the best! He's calming and helps us to be creative! Not everyone is skilled!
You can do better than you think. If you are not comfortable with a knife...just do sharp scissors. You got this if you want to try❤️
Panic attacks and anxiety
Same. I'm autistic. Investigating Epsteins partners-in-crime. 🤮
He reminds me of Bob Ross, you can't help but love him

Those window silhouettes are genius!! I love them.

I love your voice! It totally reminds me of Bob from the Joy of Painting!!! Love your talent!!!
This Christmas display is incredible. Beautiful window scene. Thanks for sharing🎄🤗
One of the BEST HOMETALK videos!!! You have a calming voice... just like Bob Ross! I could listen to you for hours! 🎅🎄🎅 thank you so much!!
I was definitely getting a Bob Ross vibe too!
Yes he has the best voice Bob Ross like .This is the best idea thank you for sharing.💕💕💕💕💕
The window silhouettes are amazing both the Halloween and Christmas ones
Window silhouettes are by far my FAVORITE house decors. ❤️
Delightful window displays!
You’re ambidextrous! I am too. I noticed immediately. Really cool. We’re special ya know. 😎

2:03 “Now this might look like a mess but it actually has a rhyme and a reason for it.” Dude just described me perfectly.
😮 Amazing. Thanks for sharing this beautiful silhouette !
Ok the Christmas silhouette came out better than expected; almost life-like! Amazing!
This is perfect! Great job and thanks for sharing!
Absolutely Gorgeous 😊Thank you
It looks really good from outside. The only thing I'd mention is to be sure to use led and not bulbs as bulbs get hot (ie fire risk).
I love watching and listening to you. You have such a calm relaxing voice.
Thank you Darla
What type of paint was used on the window to say Let It Snow?
God Bless You too Pastor Hank! ❤
I LOVE IT.
I'm not a crafty person, but you made me feel that even
I can do it. Thx. 👈
How very creative ⛄ People passing by will be smiling 😊
Merry Christmas, all!
Hello 👋how are you doing?
Wish I had a projector!!!! This is cool!
Wowza!! So simple but the effect is amazing!!
Well shiz, you just made me realize I can make my gothic window overlays from foam board!!! 🤯🤯🤯😄😄😄
That first one was amazing! Now if only I had a projector!
You don't need one. Just trace any paper or plastic decor or draw your own and cut it out on black foam board.
Lamps can create shadows.
Great ideas. You have the perfect window for that, and the blinds behind are perfect.they contain the light. Thanks for sharing.

Love the shadow decorations. Truly magic!
Hello how are you doing?
This is so beautiful! I’ll do this next Christmas, if God wills it, in my street-oriented storageroom. In my kitchen, I need the daylight.
Love the dimension that the layers create! What a great idea.
That’s beautiful!
Wow! That’s actually the best dyi I’ve seen!!!
😳 Brilliant. Definitely next years holiday.
Wow that Christmas display is amazing.
Got me a little bit choked there.

Clever, and the result is so pretty!
Cool projects Thank you 😊
This is adorable!! So creative! I’ll be saving this one in my crafting videos for sure. Thanks for sharing!
The only thing I think we need a little more help with is the projector part of this. What kind of projector? How do you load the silhouettes?
You don't need a projector. Just trace any decor on black foam board and cut it out or draw your own.
Wow! Beautiful!
It's a life-size shadow box. Nice idea.
Wow I Love those window decorations the 1st two is my favorite , pretty neat idea's 💜👍
I'm going to try this but a nativity scene

Like foamboard might try putting lights thru tree one

Oh my!! COOL! the bat 🦇 in the tree!! Amazing 🤩
I can do a nativity scene in our RV window! Thank you!
I keep designing a little town of Bethlehem, star, stable and holy family in my head. Maybe a sheep.... maybe I need to simplify!
You sound like me!!!!! Lol
Awesome work!
Love these ideas!!!
Really neat idea! That's a lot of work & I would mess up like a million times, if I tried.

Hi 👋 how are you doing?
Beautiful! I think I may try this! Thank you!
That is SO FREAKING COOL!
The silhouettes are great!
But I have another question: What was used to write the „let it snow“ slogan on the window?

@@taffykins2745 Thank you for your response! Now I only need to find out what it is in German and where to find it here.

I really thought you were going to put Santa and his sleigh flying across the sky in that upper window. 🎅🥰
I know, next year I will put it up
@@GoodlyEarth Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Nicely done.
Very clever thanks for sharing!

Wow wow wow, fantastic 😍. ❤️🇬🇧
