I now understand why good bands don't come on Eurovision. This was one of the best and is near bottom.
FR! THIS WAS MY FAVORITE! I understand why Loreen won though as it is much harder to have that voice and sing with that performance. But I prefer songs like this over songs with high emotions and music. Because if you can sing that you are just gifted but this is actually well thought off music.

Slovenia is a small country and us Slovenians can't vote for our band anyways. The thing is that we aren't that much around the Europe. Other nations are spread around the Europe and can easily vote for their countries. But this doesn't determine how good this band is.

We can hear Bojan's voice clearily. Compared to so many others where the main vocal was "hidden" in the pre-recorded vocals.

Very true! He also had a strong voice compared to the music, I felt like several entries suffered from their music being way too loud compared to the singer's voice, Serbia being the one I noticed the most.

Honestly, they had the best live vocals. His voice was exactly the same not shaky at all. The vibe of all members was amazing. They deserve so much better. I wish they add Greece on their tour one day☺

Honestly, La Zarra, Mimicat and Monika had just as good if not better vocals.
EDIT: Alika had the best vocals. Monika’s vocal ability is probably more like her ability to scream clearly or whatever.

I completely agree, this was one of the absolute highlights of this year and I don't know why they placed so low. I feel like everyone was pretty much robbed this year. I'm sure they're coming to Greece soon, new tour dates announced tomorrow :)

I don't understand what happened with the public vote because Joker Out smashed it on the stage! And they worked so hard and did so much PR so I'm really confused... I hope the boys are proud of the results that they got because this was honestly such a strong year, and televotes always congregate around 1 - 3 entries like that. Thank you Joker Out for making this season so fantastic for all of us! Wishing them all the very best!
I think it's because people voted for those who had more chance of winning (sadly) like Sweden (personally I think israel and Finland deserved their places), because the votes cost money

I met Bojan few days ago in my city because they had a few shows around the city that week and he was so chill, extremely friendly at a certain point I forgot I was talking to Bojan and thought i was talking to a friend😂 humbleness is so important especially when you are placed in the spotlight and these guys definitely own my respect for their talent and kindness.
These guys deserve the world!! Note perfect? Check. Engaging with the cameras and crowd? Check. Great song with good lyrics? Check. Fantastic chemistry within the band? Check. Singing in own language? Check.
I love everything about this and voted as much as I could for them. Even my dad, who really doesn't like Eurovision, thought Joker Out gave the best performance of the evening. Yet another year where the voting leaves me bewildered.

Who cares about what place they got? They introduced their music to an audience that actually will appreciate their music and stay with them after esc. Plus, they sung in their own language and helped their country get more visibility in Europe. Before them, I simply knew their capital and where they lay on the map. Now I find myself genuinely wanting to know more about this beautiful country. Those guys really seized the day in the best way possible and this is way more worthy than finishing in a better place. The country or The Ministry of the Environment and Spatial Planning issued a permit in February to allow the shooting of 222 brown bears until September 30 this year, but in March the administrative court suspended the permit with a temporary order until the final decision in the administrative dispute initiated by Alpe Adria. I don't watch the semi-finals so I came into watching the final today completely blind. When I tell you I was mind-blown by the fact this WASN'T a fan-favourite??? The song is so good in its own right, not just in the 'Eurovision' way and the guys are so charming as performers! They were robbed ♥
I'm so sad they didn't get more points! This song is too good and they have so much energy and charm
After 4 months I still come back and watch this magnificent performance of Joker Out, It's just magical that it still surprises me every time I rewatch this show. The stage design, the costume, every member's performance, Bojan's voice, it's a whole package, this show is absolutely stunning! Most of all, you can feel the emotions the whole band conveyed by performing this song so hard and passionately, probably because they were beyond thrilled about performing on Grand Final, you can literally tell that they were giving their all to the audience, and that is the most beautiful part about their Grand Final performance, it makes me so emotional.
The song was so underrated at the time, if it wasn't the close friendship between Bojan and Käärijä, they would have been even more underrated, which is ridiculous! Their music is amazing, one day Joker Out will be treated as Slovenia's national treasure.

The court found that the contested permit was correct and justified. In doing so, it was fully followed the statements of the questioned witnesses, both of whom work professionally with brown bears, among other things is evident from the judgment. The court heard the professor at the Faculty of Biotechnology of the University of Ljubljana Klemna Jerina and Tomaž Skrbinšek from the same faculty, both of whom participated in the preparation of the expertise that was partly the basis for the issued permit.

Few days ago I went to a concert where they were opening act. It was amazing, their stage presence is OUT OF THIS WORLD. I believe they will reach at least Maneskin level of popularity, if not more.

I voted several times for them both in the semifinal and grand final. I'm Spanish, but I once lived in Slovenia and I feel it as a second home (I really am grateful for the time I spent there and the people I met). This is the year that I'm most proud of a Slovenian entry: they did an amazing job and performance, they are a really nice and cool band made of beautiful and kindhearted people, the music style is AMAZING and incredibly well-produced, and the fact that it is in Slovene language is a BIG PLUS. Thank you for singing in your native language, and proving that English is not the only language in music.
You were definitely robbed, you should be in the top5 AT LEAST. You gained a new fan a few months ago right at the moment you were announced with your song as the entry for this year. Criminally underrated. Bojan sounds amazing while performing live, even better than the studio version. His voice is flawless. It’s really hard to believe that he was sick and anxious about his singing with what we saw (and heard of course). He posesses real talent.

Vrijeme je za jedan novi popularni band iz Slovenije u Hrvatskoj. Previše je vremana proteklo od Pepel in kri, Lačnog Franza i Predina, Videosexa, Laibacha, Pankrta i Buldožera.
Slovenia, Germany, Australia = my top 3 this year, 3 great bands, all with great stage performances, all totally screwed by the votes. That said, Joker Out is the first ESC artist that I've listened to their entire album multiple times. If you haven't yet listened to it, check it out: "Plastika" is as riotously joyful as "Carpe Diem", then there's the title track "Demoni" with it's dark, brooding baseline and the gorgeous "Padam" (I'm falling, not related to Kylie's Padam Padam). Joker Out deserve to be much bigger and I really hope that 2023 was just a test run for them and they will be back in a couple of years to bring Slovenia their first win and I'm not just saying that because I have a massive crush on drummer Jure Macek.

Extremely proud of my favorite Slayvenians, regardless of their placement. Thank you for giving it your all both on and off stage and for making these past few weeks very special. I think one of the main reasons this year had such great vibes and everyone got along so well is because Joker Out were unwaveringly positive and were the glue that brought everyone together. Joker Out were definitely the heart and soul of Eurovision 2023.

Even if the results weren't the ones they deserved, I'm still super proud of them for making it that far. They caught my attention and I'll definitely be following them in the future. Kudos to Joker Out for being so talented and charismatic on stage and, most of all, having fun and making it fun for others too

Song I absolutely abuse on spotify and rewatching the performances. Eurovision fans really did them dirty on finale but they absolutely made this year's contest so enjoyable both on stage and off stage!
I loved Slovenia this year and I loved them last year (LPS with Disko)! I voted hard for them both years, but clearly others don't share my taste. 😢
They were my favourite and the only one I ever sent a vote to. I never sent votes to anyone, but with them I had to. I immediately fell in love with their song, voice and personality. They definitely gained one new fan. Sending love from the Czech Republic ❤

they deserved much more! :( literally fell in love with slovenia at the first sight. the vibe they created is so special, it feels like the guys performed while being in their own world. we need more contestants like them!! wanna know about joker out more and definitely will listen to their discography

I can’t describe how proud of them I am! First, Cvetličarna, then, Eurovision and just 2 weeks ago Stožice! That feeling when I was watching ESC 2023 with my best friend and it was Slovenia’s turn, and I told her, “hey these guys are really good and their singer is like really cute” that was 5months ago! And now I’m anticipating for the 5th of December when I’m going to their gig in The Hague! I’m so proud of my boys!

As an indie-rock fan, this was one of the songs I enjoyed most at Eurovision!! I never really listen any songs after the festival, but this one got me hooked!🤍
After seeing them live once, and going to once again in march, you really understand how big of an inpact music can have on people.
