What an excellent video! I made a similar video for the Elecraft KX2 once, called KX2 Tips and Tricks. Now, I am looking at the Kenwood or the FTDX3000. Having difficulty choosing, but this excellent video is making me look harder at the 590SG.
I use The TS590SG every Day , with the RSP1 for Panorama / Water i love it already

Yes you see you can use Both NB together.
The astrick : When you Use the TS590SG not the TS590S you can give out the Antenna Signal
to the DRV Output backside on your TS590SG - there you can connect a second TRX or a SDR

Thanks for the video learned a lot much appreciated. I do have one problem though when using the 10M band in FM mode the S-meter reading of people is to high 60db even with the att on. Any idea how to fix this.

The TRX with the Best Price / Feature Balance is the 7300 from Icom (Sortwave Only)
I Test the 7300 more than a Month an i like this little Rig with the Onboard Waterfall onboard Audio
Out of the Box a Great Audio , Voice Recorder onbord and many Features.
And is also a very Relaxed and low Noise in RX
But i Miss the Easy Handling like the TS590SG.
The best Classic TRX in the Same Price Range (cost a bit more) is the TS590SG (Short-wave Only) also Onboard USB Audio
No SDR onboard , Voice Recorder is an Option , but the Option to use a External SDR on the DRV Out

The TS590 is a bit more Nervous and louder , but with the Filter and ACG Settings no problem,
if you Ask me today :
IC7300 is a good rig for the Casual Ham Radio Operator , who is happy with a small PanAdapter .
Is also nice for the Fieldday.
The TS590 hat not a better Resiver , but it can Handle better Strong Signals , and also the Filter`s , NB and NR , BC is quicker and better to handle if you doing DX with Weak Signals.
FTDX1200 is Cheap and Good is a Mix between TS590 and IC7300
if you like Yaesu , take the FDX3000 - no so "modern" like the 7300 but also a Solid TRX
The FT991A is a All-rounder but it can nothing really good (Holiday All-rounder for Wire Antennas )
When you want a Second Reciver , the IC7610 or FTDX5000 is a nice Option but much more Money :-)
My External SDR is my Second RX
If i today must buy a New TRX , i will re buy the TS590SG with a External TRX for my Shack
