My heart is full. I'm just an old guy watching your videos from far away. I know I've mentioned before that I had high hopes for your visit to San Blas. I have watched you make friends along your journey so far, but nothing like what you experienced here. A group of people all Med moored together on a tropical island. Mom and dad got to see some amazing things. I don't think dad was laughing much when the fish went into the sand. The trip down the river, my god it as gorgeous. And Becka, "I am alive". Stay safe and congrats on 75K, a real milestone. ❤🙏
Some great memories to have in your memory bank, swimming with your parents, but don't stop there make many many, many more and let us in on a few as they happen. Stay Safe & Fair Winds!! ☘
Hi Becka and Zach. Thanks for a nice Looong episode. Let's have a few more of them. Great to see Zach's parents enjoying themselves on Teulu. I trust they had a great Christmas with you. Typical of them to bring the rain with them, but we Brits always take the weather with us, wherever we go. Looking forward to next week's episode. Fair Winds and Following Seas.
I still remeber your first exit from marina... And... @2:20 i was thinking: we've created two sailing beasts! No rain, no wind will stop you. I'm really proud of you two! You've came a long way! Have fun!
Becka and Zach, that was a wonderful episode. How rewarding for Zack’s parents to experience your way of life now and the friendship you make on your travels. The gathering on the shore with all the boats moored nearby looking amazing with all the different foods available. You are both living life to the full. Many thanks sharing this with us all.
What a absolutely magic episode, please don't ever change u 2, u both bring such Honest, Raw, Emotional, Fun adventures, that we love sharing with u. Can't thank u both enough for giving us a glimps of the Sailing Life. Zach ur amazing, Jack of all trades and u cook, ur a lucky Woman Becka.😁And Becka ur such a profoundly beautiful Soul. Hope ur mum an dad had a great time Zach. Till next time lots luv, be safe. 🌈
Every episode is just better than the last. How is that possible? What a joy it must have been to have family on board for Christmas. May that joy follow you throughout 2024! Namaste.🙏
After all that hard work in Aruba, you two deserved a holiday. Your San Blas episodes and among the best I’ve seen on YT. Love this “Real Life” compilation edit. Well done! Now, on to the next GREAT adventure. Cheers!
Best onboard boat series I have found. So honest and humble. Used to own a gaff-rigged schooner. I wrote a book about my friends the Farrells, who built 46 wooden boats on beaches and sailed to Fiji from BC the first time in 1951. You have really captured the essence, of community, rafting up with other boats, sailing with family, sharing the good times. Helping others when they need help. Living the life. The seagoing people. Thank you!
I knew this episode would be worth the wait and you did not disappoint! You absolutely captured some magic with this one, great job. The San Blas are truly a small paradise, thank you for sharing in such a wonderful way.❤
Thanks Jim! It was a big one to edit, you won’t believe how much footage we had 😆 but, it was so great to get to relive it all over again. I’m glad we could bring you along for it 😊
What a glorious place! I would have a hard time leaving also. Its funny how Becca was so afraid, & crying on your first sailing trip, & now she is like a pirate! Lol! Nothing seems to shake her confidence on the water… just fantastic. Wishing you two safe journeys ahead! Chuck from Texas.
Wow. What a change. We cruised the San blas. In 1999. There was NOTHING THERE THEN. WOW. When We were there 4-5 boats TOTAL. There was ;NO FACILITIES AT ALL ! No services or tourism. No stores. Very remote and isolated. Zero services. We stayed for w winters. Still very special. You can easily spend a couple of yrs cruising Panama, both sides. We were going to spend 2 weeks, we spent 2 yrs before our final canal transit t the pacific.
I’ve been binge watching a lot of sailing videos lately (dreaming of blue water life) and I am so glad I found your channel, great editing, great audio , awesome video , thanks for sharing your life with us.
Having watched 7 years of the journey of Sailing yacht Florence while they are refitting I am going to binge watch your story from when you bought your boat. If your story is half as interesting as Matt and Amys it will be a good watch.
Well that was a most enjoyable binge watch. I enjoyed watching you both mature as the journey carried on. Live for the moment, don't worry about what might happen in the future you cannot change that.
It was a privilege to get to sail on her! Cheers Mark 😊 Hopefully we’ll cross paths at some point and we’ll get the chance to hop on another Wharram 🤞 Looks like you are getting there!
Both of you are grateful for every new day, you embrace impermanence and you have compassion for your selfs and others not to mention you have wisdom at such a young age, respect to both of you love your boat been watching your adventures since day one fair winds to you sailors great video
Another beautiful video from a beautiful couple (in all senses of the word!) thank you again for making the videos and taking us along (virtually) on your adventures!
I loved this episode, the location was fascinating. It was great to see your daily lives and all of the enjoyment you are getting out there. I can't wait to begin a similar journey but am clearly 5 years away. I won't be in my twenties...but age is just a number. Keep enjoying the adventure, we're all rooting for you. Cheers.
A Fantastic episode to finish of a extraordinary year as I said before you are becoming the best sailing channel out there, looking forward to what’s to come in the year ahead
Haha... yes, scissors... we go through a lot of those! Also can openers and citrus squeezers. Pretty much anything metal with a hinge that any amount of force is used to make work.
What an unbelievable adventure for you both and really your families. It’s so sad you’re leaving the Caribbean, it feels (to an outsider looking in) like you just got there. God speed and safe travels to your next step of the adventure.
Those water alarms are ok mounted flat and better than nothing, but your not going to hear them once they are under water in a medium or rapid flood situation (and also the moment the sounder output opening goes under water your hearing almost nothing, which if mounted on a wall will be before the water even reaches the contacts). Best to get a remote probed wired water level sounder with the sounder up several feet above the probe (or in the lounge area) on a wall away from immediate potential water submersion for those crucial minutes the alarm needs to sound and wake you up in a rapid through hull fitting failure or hull intrusion, or when on deck.
I love that you don't cover all the sailing sounds with music! I have been watching since your beginning. My son and I will be buying a boat this year! Great channel with wonderful souls! Fair winds and following seas. May the new year bring many more fond memories and friends!
As I have just watched this magnificent video, I see you on marine traffic app and you are now heading to Panama City, you have transited through the canal! Congratulations. In the Pacific Ocean now. Amazing. Looking forward to seeing that. Beautiful waters!!
Hi guys. My very first time on your channel . I absolutely loved it. You have me hooked. Can't wait for your next video. You are very nice, fun people. The very best to you. Safe travels and fair sailing.
Go the head banging rain sail! Made me pine for my childhood home of Trinidad. Love the Crimbo cake in the Jungle, who can they have done that. Lovely video, great shooting and you’ve only just began. You can’t fault Zack’s Gene source. Buy a small stuff sack for the compass if the Zack- Dom doesn’t work
I really enjoyed this vid. Interesting to hear the variety of accents in the same family! Great shots of so many interesting things--mushrooms etc. (There was a glitch in the playback and it exited at the segment break at 27 min. I tried it several times and it always jumped out. I rebooted the video and it started playback at just about that point, so I skipped ahead a few seconds into the next segment and it played perfectly.)
Another episode filled with beauty, love and adventure. Your channel is really special! I’m glad Zach’s parents got a chance to experience some of your life on the water. The only sad part was the unfortunate demise of your scissors!😢
And Now you are about to sail ⛵️ in the largest Ocean on the planet. Where the polynesian islands await your Arrival. From the Big Island of Hawaii down to the French Polynesian and over to Fiji. Thank You for a Great video 📹 and Sharing your family with us. Looked like everyone had a Great time. Ok until next time ⏲️, Aloha from the Big Island of Hawaii! Aloha and cheers 🍻 Hope to see 👀 your sails ⛵️ on the Horizon someday from our lanai ! Aloha
Awesome episode guys. Guess you are now in the Pacific? Love listening to your thoughts on life and how you feel, being present etc it really resonates. Safe travels. Andy UK
Likening the compass cover!!! Perhaps some silicone on the inside will make it 100% water proof. Might look home made but with some age on it , it will look awesome ! Well done
The best thing about watching at 8:52 is not being Ian. 38:15 I have a pair of scissors just like those that broke that I too call my "good scissors". I got them Germany because they look over engineered and because that's how they roll.
I love you kids! So nice seeing you spending time with your parents (even when they shoot you). Jamie, from Parlay, has a love for the San Blas too. I'll visit one day. Safe travels ❤
What a wonderful adventure you two are living! Cherish the memories always. Watching these videos, though, I am curious how you manage money. Not in a big way, but for times like when you are dealing with the locals. Buying fruit and fish off the boats that paddle up, or when in a local village. I don't suppose most of them take plastic! Do you need to be changing money often in different countries? Are some currencies more universal (e.g.: U.S. Dollar, British Pound, etc.). How much do you keep on hand at any given time? Things like that. Might make for an interesting video!

That’s me a 67 year old just loving your videos and life, how I would have loved to do what you’re doing. Stay safe the both of you.
Me too, A 72 yr young Lad from Dublin, just loving your Videos and Life. Still dreaming the dream. Stay safe Lovely Peoples, Live long and prosper.

Some great memories to have in your memory bank, swimming with your parents, but don't stop there make many many, many more and let us in on a few as they happen. Stay Safe & Fair Winds!! ☘
You guys really have it together. Keep enjoying life and remaining grounded. Happy Zach’s parents were able to join you. They must be so proud!
It doesn’t always feel like we do, but I think in this moment we did more than ever 😊

As always a fantastic way to unwind after a monday. Thanks guys for all the effort 👌
Haha... yes, scissors... we go through a lot of those! Also can openers and citrus squeezers. Pretty much anything metal with a hinge that any amount of force is used to make work.
We also have a traditional Boxing Day walk. And good-looking Christmas cake. I am envious.
Very entertaining! Simple and real, enjoy watching your adventures.

Wonderful video, what a great look into the sights and sounds of sailing life. I was a little worried when it started off with Swansea weather
Cheers Steve, thankfully it wasn’t Swansea weather for all of it!
Go the head banging rain sail!
Made me pine for my childhood home of Trinidad.
Love the Crimbo cake in the Jungle, who can they have done that.

The cover looks a little bit like „ Wilson“, from castaway. I would give him two eyes and call him Wilson
Very easy to watch...liking yoir message
So many people saying wonderful things about this episode. Why shouldn't I be one too! Yah!
"Now they're breaded" Best line of the video lol

Just stumbled upon your channel, great video. I have a truck reverse beeper wired to a float switch for our high water alarm
Good quality vid guys.
Your videos are so great! Very impressive!!
🥹 thanks Bud!
Great pedestal hood!
Everyone always visits the San Blas Islands. The water and activities therein are the reason
