I wish there was a sequel to this game. The cliffhanger at the end of the credits left me hanging. It's so obvious that there's another storyline right there when Donald Clark calls Knoxville Hail; obvious to steal back the Viper. Hello? There's another game right there. Instead, you got the series going into high class street racing in Hawaii all of a sudden. Makes no sense.
Fun fact - Pitbull fucked up. The post credits phonecall is only on the PS2 version - (which the uploader was stupid enough to skip altogether along with the credits - the title typo has gone un-fixed for close to 7 years now too LOL) It's missing on the Xbox & PC versions. Pitbull lost the IP for Test Drive soon after this game, and it ended up in the hands of someone else, so it's pretty obvious why there never was a sequel to it.
That's kind of sad how that worked out.. yeah I just beat it on the XBox (I had it on Ps2 as a kid) and I'm wondering where that cutscene went. I guess that sums it all up.. sad.. wish there was a second.
Strange...the cutscene shows up for me on Xbox...yeah, bummer there wasn't any sort of sequel, this was basically the only racing game I played, loved that I could play my own music, had George Thorogood and the Who saved for my driving soundtracks, hah.
*Did I say the cutscene is missing?* *NO.* *Reread my damn comment.* *Pitbull forgot the phonecall after the cutscene and the credits on the Xbox & PC versions.*
In the phone call during the end of the credits Clark is reaching out to Hail, who is said to be a pro car thief, it hints that Clark is going to straight boost all his cars back. Midway also worked on a game called LA Rush in where the plot is that you play a street racer who has all his cars stolen and you have to get them all back. The two storylines aren’t related but it’s interesting to think about
Had a sequel ever been made (Especially with today’s technology), I would have used ten cities; Moscow (Russia), London (England), Honolulu (Hawaii), Las Vegas (Nevada), Tokyo (Japan), Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Sydney (Australia), Cairo (Egypt), Johannesburg (South Africa) and Stockholm (Sweden).
Awesome driving out there and congratulations on beating underground mode aka career mode. I actually own this game on PS2 and I used to own the PC version of it and I've unlocked every car and track in the game; including the bonus cars too. I like the Vipers, Ford GT40, Jaguar XJ220, classic Ford Mustang GT TVR Cerbera Speed 12, and the Corvette Z06. Although, this game is very underrated and it deserves more love and recognition. Plus, there should've been a Test Drive Overdrive 2 in the works right about now and there's no telling if Pitbull Syndicate will ever try to redeem themselves and make a well made sequel to Test Drive Overdrive or not. It sucks that a sequel never happened and we were all sad and disappointed about the news. Including me. :(
I hate to say this, but some of your videos of you playing Underground mode aka story mode have unfortunately been blocked in our country of the US. Could try reuploading some of them if you can?
@Prestonfs No I actually didnt, I uploaded it twice and WMG kept on muting my video because of the music that plays by the credits. So I had no choice to remove it.

Christoper Oliver to be honest, I never noticed the post credits cutscene, I wish I saw this at the time I used to play this game

I got this game to hit shit and break my controller on the table.
Played this game just to see how good test drive was in mid 2000s and i'm glad to say i made a good call
@@koolaidoscope At least you admitted it. Most people have that same response but doesn't say much.

This game is so much better than TDU2
I have a question for you. Did you ever test drive the Dodge Viper GTS-R Concept in the game after unlocking it?
Yes I did when I played multi-player with my cousin. Did the cop chase with it. Overall speed and handling the best.
@@SOLID117x Awesome man. What car was your cousin driving to compete against you anyway?
