I’d say that my favorite currently rn is Absolute Swamp Thing Vol. 1, just absolutely incredible way to read the story.
Been buying these absolutes since the early 2010's and ever since I started; Ive always wanted Alan Moore's Swampy run to be collected in the format. I got my wish so that would be my favorite haha.

Batman Year One is by far my favorite Absolute. I'm a huge Batman fan, it's prob my favorite Batman story, and this Absolute is the first one I ever bought. I also love that they included both the original version as well as an updated one.
My favorite Absolute is the Alan Moore Swamp Thing. This is my favorite format. I hope they reprint some of these.
As next year (2025) is the fortieth anniversary of Crisis on Infinite Earths, I am holding out hope that DC will reissue it in Absolute format.

Just watched the entire video, thanks guys for taking the time to make this, it’s fantastic and informative. My favorite now is my Absolute Batman Hush. Although, I just purchased Absolute Sandman (my daughter is gonna read with me), Kingdom Come and Alan Moore Swampthing. So I’ll let you know if that changes my favorite list. Keep the vids coming.

I have all of the sandman, kingdom come, the dark knight returns, the long Halloween,and watchmen. I always meant to get more as these are my favorite format.
I’m new to Absolute collecting but so far my favourite is Batman Year One. Not only is the story a classic but the extras are amazing. Containing the original colours and an updated colours version, the script and so much more. Thanks boys for all the absolute info but my wallet hates you both. 😅

As a comic collector with a monthly budget, I drew the line on Omnis. So, unfortunately, I don't have any Absolute. But I would love the Absolute Watchmen on my library!

Alan Moore's Swamp Thing was one of my first comics read so the absolute editions of that run is my all time favorite
I dont have any absolutes so far however super excited for the Arkham Asylum by grant morrison and the Final crisis Absolutes. My Favorite one thats currently out probably All star superman

Identity Crisis is one of my all time favorite comic stories.
The Absolute Preacher volumes are my absolute favorite, but I'm prejudiced because it's also one of my favorite comics of all time too. The Alan Moore Swamp Thing is good too. And any oversized Alex Ross art is a must in Absolutel format.

I gotta say for me... Now and always, Absolute Killijg Joke. Awesome presentation. Great extras. The way they give the new colors version on nice thick glossy paper and then the old version with og colors and old school paper stock. Just amazing.

The art of Alex Ross is what got me into comics. So I have to go with Absolute Kingdom Come as my favorite.
Absolute Blackest Night, it was my first absolute, love the story. love Ivan Reis artwork in oversized format - especially the double page of all lantern leaders recharging from BN #5

My fav absolute would be my first absolute. All Star Superman. Fell in love with the character even more and elevated my love for the medium to start my own collection. I definitely want to reread it again now with a different, more established set of eyes for Superman and Morrison.
Absolute Watchmen. My first and only absolute book.
I have been planning on dipping into absolutes so this was an amazing video to watch. My top four absolutes that I want are Kingdom come, preacher, hush, and justice League worlds greatest superheroes.
If I had to pick one, my favorite absolute is Kingdom Come! Beautiful build and gorgeous art. Perfect for the format.

The killing joke is my favorite because it was my first absolute edition.
I really love Superman: For Tomorrow. It was my first Absolute Edition. I've noticed that many people aren't too keen on it but I really like it, the story and the beautiful art and have read it many times. I also really love my Absolute WildCATS which quite a few people don't seem to like lol. One of my prized possessions. I loved the cartoon, growing up so I have all the other stuff including WildCATS vs Aliens and the Zealot comics, as well as the new books.
Love to see this collab. These guys do great stuff and I never finish a video without adding a couple books to my list of stuff to check out. Would be perfect for the podcast too 👌🏻

Absolute Daytripper is my favorite…that I own lol since I don’t own a lot. They are too expensive for me so I just stick with omnis unless I really really love it.😅

My favorite Absolutes are the Alan Moore Swamp Things. I just completed the set this week actually! Eventually, I'd like to start collecting the Sandman volumes.
The Sandman books are for sure my favorite, but if I had to narrow it down, it'd be vol 4 because of the Kindly Ones arc
My favourite absolutes are, Dark Victory, Arkham Asylum 30th anniversary, All-Star Superman and Identity Crisis.

Great rundown, guys! The Absolutes I own are as follows:
Alan Moore Swamp Thing (all 3 volumes), Batman Year One, and of course Kingdom Come, New Frontier and Watchmen. I completely agree with your take on the Miller Dark Knight inclusion of DKSA, which is why I opted to get the Deluxe slipcase 4 volume edition of DKR rather than the Absolute, even though it's in the smaller page size.

Can't talk about the Wrightson swamp thing without talking about the art. Yes I prefer the Alan Moore stories but you buy the Wrightson book for the unsurpassable art

I had no idea there were so many Absolute Editions out there. For some reason I always thought it was a smaller collection of books. Not "like 10," but still not that many.
Man, the one I keep WANTING to buy but just kept putting it off is Absolute Kingdom Come. I just love that story, and THAT ART!!! I guess Absolute V for Vendetta catches my attention every now and then, too solely because it's an Alan Moore book.
The only ones I have are Preacher 1-3, Watchmen, and Absolute Dark Knight which was just reprinted. I STILL haven't read Strikes Back, lol. Oh! I have Absolute The Killing Joke and Absolute Three Jokers, too. Maybe I should look into the Batman:: Year One Absolute... Superman for All Seasons sounds like it warrants investigation, too. I will FOREVER be salty my Absolute Watchmen doesn't have a ribbon bookmark, lol.
Good God, these Preacher books are so freaking handsome! Unfortunately, my vol 1 arrived damaged (small defect on the spine). I bought it from somewhere who packs books well, too so I think it was damaged before they packed it.
Oh, I guess I have all the Spawn Origins absolute editions too, lol. _Close enough..._

So I am a little confused. There are more than 57 Absolute editions. I have 65 as of right now and I am missing a bunch haha. I believe there are 83 Absolutes out right now not including announced but not released. There may be more Absolutes if you count Absolute Planetary 1 and 2 but I have the new print which combines the previous 2 volumes. But either way there are well over 80 right now.

I only own 11 absolutes so far. The New Frontier is probably my favorite.
Justice is my fav the fact that you have the Justice league on the run because the villains were almost winning and taking over. Nuff said
Wild CATS, Gen 13, etc books at the early Image / WS days, were fragment story written a la Wolverine. Supreme, Deathblow, same thing.
My favorite is New Frontier. I've read it probably five times or more in that format.
