As much as I love hearing Tim play guitar, I love hearing him talk about it just as much! His passion is infectious! Just a masterpiece of a person and a player.
So happy someone else saw the cut in the loop. It’s almost perfect. Very hard to detect. But if you can count the music that helps you know where to look. I was thinking how is he not messing up at all and playing it perfectly each time that’s when I counted and saw the break. But well done Tim! Took me longer than I like to find it.
It would be hilarious if he made it 10 hours long, and you couldn't tell where the cut was. Imagine how much that would blow people's mind even more than it already does.
Uniquely Tim, giving me old high school vibes when the gang would listen to Satriani. Perfectly chill for all the gaming sessions and deep convos we all shared.
Man this guy is nuts! I cannot say there is even one video of him playing i didnt enjoy. Its not just the technicality its the soul he puts into it. I love it so good.
This kid is a true artist, all about him is creating something different, not just on the way you play the guitar but all his look and personality. Real innovation
this is the 2nd prototype of the ibanez nylon reboot Tim dubbed this one the "bread" guitar he gave to steve vai as an apprecation for being on their record :))
Nice how he makes it feel so full which can be hard with just one guitar and you're not strumming chords the whole time. Perfect blend of bass notes with the leads.
Tim. Man... I just can't say enough. You fill my soul, dude. I am in awe. I'm just blown away. I can't get enough of your guitar playing. I heard GOAT like a year or so ago, and thought "wow that's a sick lick" i mean, the whole band slaps. Then I just lost track of Poly for a while until UA-cam Music played it again randomly for me. I can't believe it took over a year for them to do that again... jerks lol but anyway.... i became immediately obsessed. You guys are so incredible. You make it look so effortless. Makes my playing look like I fart on a cardboard box and call it music LOLOLOL man, keep it coming. Thank u for all you do.
This is the perfect length for this because you can feel it more and more as the time goes on. It grows on you and you can start to feel and dissect the intricacies with a more in depth perception.
Tim is one of those "one in a trillion" talents. One thing is the skill, but the ear, the motion, the creativity, the compositions and so on are just mindblowing. I have been playing for 30 years and I would give my legs for having 25% of the talent he has. I am just so happy to be able to listen to him grow and mature. Some people become legends but this kid was born a legend.
He really isn’t. He’s good, but nothing special. Watch any classical guitarist. They actually use more than 3 techniques, 3 scales, 3 patterns, and 5 melodies. He uses the EXACT same progressions and sequences in almost every song. That the thing about math rock...it only sounds hard and complex, but it isn’t. This was all the rage at Berklee a decade ago and it only lasted for the first year or so, then people moved on. The same will happen now that the public seems to have become aware of it.
Tim, I'm never nice on the internet, this is one of the most beautiful pieces I have ever heard on any musical instrument. I hope to hear you killing it on Spotify one day. I'm subscribed.
Tim is not just the best Executor of his instrument but he’s probably one of the best songwriters of his generation and maybe mine too, you have been given a gift, the love for music and it appears you are using your gift to spread awe, wonder and joy, play on you joyful soul!
Watching this level of playing a particular musical instrument could either encourage you to keep practicing harder or just quit. Love and dedication to your craft keeps you going. You are an inspiration, man! 🤟🤟🤟
As someone who used to play guitar as my only instrument, I hit a plateau of skill in which I was only seeing very small amounts of gain from my hours of work and it was very discouraging. Since then I started branching to other instruments because I fell out of love with the guitar. Recently I’ve been just binging Tim’s content and I gotta say I’m very much inspired to pick up the guitar again. To play like him would be a dream, but just being back on the guitar and growing as a musician is a nice feeling. Not to deify him but I do think Tim is responsible for that in me and probably hundreds if not thousands of people. Proud work and keep it up, you’re an inspiration.
The bottom 3 strings being nylon add such a wonderful sound. Part of why I always loved playing classical. Tim I’d love to see you play some Bach or Agustin barrios on this!!
@Aziri Alain actually no, a classical guitar has the bottom 3 strings being nylon instead of steel. Also the neck on a true classical is wider than that of an acoustic by 1/4 inch iirc. Strictly speaking it is acoustic but the classical guitar has features that make it sound different and feel different to play.
@Aziri Alain well you obviously don’t know the differences if you’re coming at me like that. A “classical acoustic” is actually different than a “modern acoustic”. But here you are telling me a classical is an acoustic arguing semantics like a teenager so 🤷♂️
This is so beautiful; i mean the whole aesthetics, his style literally, his outter matches the inner as in his guitar skills too, so clean, so delicat, so fresh, young, and yet so sophisticated and wise or „old“. Just pure beauty and softness. Thats love in a line of guitar in my body…. Something like that Oh my ..
This focus and concentration is beyond my conception of just a mainstream sensation. This is absolute sensational guitar licking. Love it!! :) What a truly dedicated and devotional gift. Keep playing, neVeR, eVeR stop!! You own it son, you own it!!
I love seeing how when he starts playing something so awesome he just does it over and over bcuz when I create my own stuff I do that as well sometimes for hours just to get it down and vibe and idk it's just cool to see Tim in his element and doing what he loves and in a fashion that alot of musicians understand and also without restriction not there ever was really but you know what I mean

It amazes me how someone can make something look so effortless and get so much voice and feeling being their playing. This guy is beyond talented
Uniquely Tim, giving me old high school vibes when the gang would listen to Satriani. Perfectly chill for all the gaming sessions and deep convos we all shared.
I feel like a goat cover on this thing would sound sick because of the deeper tone that it has
There’s a guy that does a nylon goat cover that’s unbelievable, Tim commented on it, look er up brudda
@@jackjurphy5020 I saw that too. I think that's why Tim bought this guitar. He mentions there "I want to take lessons from that guy".
Man this guy is nuts! I cannot say there is even one video of him playing i didnt enjoy. Its not just the technicality its the soul he puts into it. I love it so good.
that's cool tim but can you play G.O.A.T by polygon?
polygon????
lmao
porygon lol
Philadelphia cream cheese
Polygamy?
You're the man dog! I started playing guitar again instantly when I heard your music first time 2 years ago. I've had so much fun since, I'm in debt.
This kid is a true artist, all about him is creating something different, not just on the way you play the guitar but all his look and personality. Real innovation
this kid is almost 30 lol
🤣 LMAOOO
this is the 2nd prototype of the ibanez nylon reboot Tim dubbed this one the "bread" guitar he gave to steve vai as an apprecation for being on their record :))
Long anticipated sequel to “playing a guitar”
9 mins loop of Tim playing is all we need. Greetings from Colombia.
This is the perfect length for this because you can feel it more and more as the time goes on. It grows on you and you can start to feel and dissect the intricacies with a more in depth perception.
LOL....... DUDE....... Such an inspiration....... That shit was so clean..... Beautiful tone Tim....
so cool to see instrumental guitar music being brought to a new audience, along with some jazz-esque riffage
This puts me in my happy place. At times it seems so hard to find. And I thank you for that.
Damn man, I can't get over how nice that guitar is and the sounds that come out of it through such an amazing player.
My God !!😲 It's my first time watching you and I am blown away ,, What did I just watch? ,, I couldn't say a word till he was done . Talent!! 🔥
His style seems to have lightened/softened up, and I'm here for it.
True he sounds more refreshing.
Relax guy
@@suzukiclaus3028 coomer moment
@@suzukiclaus3028 Have you never loved a man
He really isn’t.
@@Pit_Lord HMm sounds to me like you're jealous...
Tim, I'm never nice on the internet, this is one of the most beautiful pieces I have ever heard on any musical instrument. I hope to hear you killing it on Spotify one day. I'm subscribed.
Lol. I didn't even make the connection. I already listen to your band. Lol.
@@novmbrone haha silly goose! Lmaooo you’re like someone get this brother on Spotify
I don’t think there will ever be another person who can fingerpick in such a bulletproof fashion. Massive respect!
It's ok we have hope. Check out Matteo Mancuso, he can shred without a pick while still sounding musical
Ichika Nito is up there, I absolutely adore Tim though he's so insanely good.
Alan Gogoll
there are only few like ichika ia guess idk others
As someone who used to play guitar as my only instrument, I hit a plateau of skill in which I was only seeing very small amounts of gain from my hours of work and it was very discouraging. Since then I started branching to other instruments because I fell out of love with the guitar. Recently I’ve been just binging Tim’s content and I gotta say I’m very much inspired to pick up the guitar again. To play like him would be a dream, but just being back on the guitar and growing as a musician is a nice feeling. Not to deify him but I do think Tim is responsible for that in me and probably hundreds if not thousands of people. Proud work and keep it up, you’re an inspiration.
beautiful Tim! love that melody.
Butter -BTS🔥
An album like this would be the greatest pleasure my ears have ever been given.
listen to polyphia
Someone’s gotta hire Tim to write final fantasy music
that's the part of ichika nito
Sorry, but Nobody can replace Nobuo Uematsu.
Dude seriously! I love learning ff songs and his music style would fit so perfectly. To zanarkand is probably my favorite ff song.
Hitoshi Sakimoto did just fine at replacing nobou, even better imo.

BUTTER!!!!!!! ♡♡♡♡♡ THIS IS SUCH A MAGNIFICENT VERSION!!!!! THANK YOU!!! ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
PLAYING THIS ON LOOP! ♡♡♡♡♡♡
Such lovely playing:) I am in awe as always with you, Tim.
The bottom 3 strings being nylon add such a wonderful sound. Part of why I always loved playing classical. Tim I’d love to see you play some Bach or Agustin barrios on this!!
Top 3 are nylon too, but they are covered by metal, or something like that
@@yeerok6402 I only meant as opposed to acoustic. Where the bottom 3 are steel. But yes. This being a classical makes all the difference
But here you are telling me a classical is an acoustic arguing semantics like a teenager so 🤷♂️
Easier to slide with instead of metal so much fun.
Something like that
Oh my ..
Tim Henson, single-handedly driving the guitar scene into the future.
That sounds so phenomenal. The tone is so warm. Love your stuff Tim. ❤️
warm? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
It will sound more warm on an electric

Beautiful guitar and sound. Masterful playing as always. Thanks Tim.
ibanez makes some flame instruments damn
really love that vintage style headstock
This focus and concentration is beyond my conception of just a mainstream sensation. This is absolute sensational guitar licking. Love it!! :) What a truly dedicated and devotional gift. Keep playing, neVeR, eVeR stop!! You own it son, you own it!!
Incredible man. I would give anything to find someone with this much skill to play drums for.
Are you certain you could handle it?
@@quincymb8576 Why even suggest it, if there wasn't chance he could?
Tim's air conditioner is the most probable cause for power shortages in Texas.
this is hilarious thank you very much
I love seeing how when he starts playing something so awesome he just does it over and over bcuz when I create my own stuff I do that as well sometimes for hours just to get it down and vibe and idk it's just cool to see Tim in his element and doing what he loves and in a fashion that alot of musicians understand and also without restriction not there ever was really but you know what I mean
Oh this is smooth!! You’re skills are fire Tim. Seriously dope!! Borahae. 💜💜💜
Just came across your channel Tim, rather impressed by your talent! And nice rendition of BTS, only know because my youngest daughter is a huge BTS fan Lol. With said, Just turned 46 today and have been playing guitar since I was 13 on and off, self taught. You are an inspiration dude! Totally jealous that you jammed with Herman Li also! Hope to see more videos from you! \m/
