My favorite sprouts are Sunflower. Chickens li e sprouts too.
That’s great to know! I don’t have chickens but we talk about it every once in a while. ♥️
Hi Heather! Thank you for sharing your journey. As of a few weeks ago I decided to finally garden and start doing more for my family homesteading. I also think I may try my hand at making cheese! Have a great day!
Hi Cayla! I love having a garden! I’ve never tried cheese though! If you do, I’d love to see how it’s done!!♥️♥️
We used to sprout too, but kind of fell out of it as well. I like to top a hamburger with them, like lettuce and our chickens like them too 😊 We have our garden torn down for the winter as well, and we hauled about 12 wheelbarrows of goat manure out of the barn and dumped it on the garden to compost over the winter and then till in the spring ❤😊❤
Sprouts would be amazing on a burger!
You are doing well and ready for a new season! I didn’t do too much other than clearing because the boxes need fixed. I definitely need more dirt after the boxes are fixed. ♥️♥️

That sounds delicious! I never thought to put them on burgers. I usually put them on over easy eggs.
so cool - I never thought of doing this - the system is under 20 on amazon - my husband said get it I love sprouts - thanks Heather I will be joining you soon in this
That is awesome Donna! It’s so quick and easy, I’m excited to get this batch done!! Once you get the first batch you can constantly have sprouts if you keep growing new ones as you eat the ones just grown. ♥️♥️
@@HeathersGardening I know - I eat them in sandwiches and salads - love sprouts this will be fun
We also heat with wood in the winter as well and compost our woodash with the manure as well.
That’s perfect! ♥️♥️
