The bag looks as stiff as the dynema GR1. That wonderfully broken in Coreura bullet looks amazing and more comfortable.
Do you think the vx will get less stiff with use?

If you ever sell your v1 bullet, I would give it a good home! I paid a stupid expensive price to get a 10L v1 bullet on eBay a few years ago, and I think it is one of my favorite things I own! I LOVE the separate hydration compartment on the v1, and was sad that they removed it from the design. I kept hoping that they would bring it back in a future design, but then they even stopped making the v3! Anyway, thanks for all the goruck vids :)
Dunno if you noticed but mine is modified so that the back compartment is for a laptop now (padded and sides and bottom-no drain hole) and the main compartment also is now padded on the bottom with no drain hole. Doubt it would suit the original purpose anymore ;)

I have seen your videos they are helpful and I appreciate that, just a feedback comment, this video quality is straining my eyes, also in my opinion the bokeh effect makes it look artsy but is very hard to analyze and review.

That top pocket reminds me of the CHZ22 pocket right above the laptop sleeve. Very annoying at first, but you get use to it after a while and learn the "angle slide" to get it in and out.
I think it would be helped by the stretchiness of the CHZ pocket. Smart design on that one. Still need to give one a proper go at some point!
@@jtinseoul7041 true, that CHZ laptop sleeve has some good stretch to it. It does help getting in and out. I think I'm more jealous of your OG Bullet than the Kaidan. haha

It's was an after the fact modification. That guy I think is from 2012.
I didn't pull the trigger on this collab, but they really classed up the bullet! It doesn't appear so mil-spec looking. Definitely a step up. The beginning was hilarious! Hope you are well J!

thx for the video! thoughts on the durability of the vx21 compared to vx42/cordura?
VX21 has a 210D face fabric (nylon) and VX42 has a 420D face fabric. Neither of those would be as abrasion resistant as even 500D Cordura. X50 X-pac has a 500D Cordura face so it's pretty beefy. X51 (500D in one direction and 1000D in the other) is even more so. In any event, for most things, VX21 even is enough but it won't hold up to a fight with cement as well as it's tougher friends.

Did you end up getting the GR2 34L as well? That's been the stand out (and keeper for me ) of the Kaidan trio

Thoughts on using a GR2 Field Pouch with this pack?
I think because it's 4 rows on the field pocket and three rows on the front here it would be a little awkward. You'd be better off with a GR1 Field Pocket. Assuming you mean to attach it to the front.
How did you get this already and I am still waiting for mine to arrive in California….
GORUCK ships FedEx internationally which is certainly faster than USPS during the holidays. It's also like $100 for me which I'm guessing it isn't for those in the states.
Have to correct you: Bullet always have no8 YKK. But still not a big fan of slapping Codura stitching on other materials.
The newest Bullet (500D, 210HT) has a main number 10. All the previous versions had number 8s.

Brilliant marketing but not something I would buy. I have three Bullets that are in no danger of being replaced at twice the cost.

It does not.
How much were these new? When they were available-
They were $275 new.
Orange tone inner has been applied vastly in Japan origin bags for 2X years. It might be cool to someone but I don‘t see any creativity on many the Carryology projects.
I think bags like the No Escape are pretty creative takes. I've used Porter Yoshida bags for nearly 20 years and a lot of them certainly do have orange interiors. I believe the colour comes from the fact that the Carryology brand colour is orange. In any event, it's a nice enough bag. Did it blow me away? Certainly not. But it's a cool enough bag.
The x-pac is vary noisy .
VX21 (and 42) tends to be a little crinkly for sure.
I had my doubt for a long time but after getting my AER city pack in xpac, its not even an issue anymore, its definitely the mic picking up more noise, daily use absolutely 0 issues.
What I normally tell people is that it's "noisier" than Cordura but it's not "noisy" in general. The only Xpac bag that I've found noisy to use was the Axiom 24.
