I have a stock 05 z710 colorado 4x4. I had thought that lowering the front 2" was as simple as turning the torsion keys. But someone posted that you also have to put spacers between the frame and the frint differential. Is that true?
depends on how low you go really, and its always best to measure your shocks full compressed length to be sure, but you should be OK with a mild drop and stock shocks.
If you want to save a ton of money on wheels, just powder coat the ones you have. Check out Prismatic Powders, the color you might like best is Black Chrome 2 but they have dozens of others. Are the keys just clocked different, or allow for more bolt travel? Or I guess that would do the same thing?
