Kung Fu Panda is lit AF! He needs a rehab. Never count on YT revenue is the key to YT. Forget about the $ and the benefits of the platform become more clear. You have been my Zazzle research goto channel for a few years now. I appreciated your Canva license coverage. Long time blackhatter, recent licensing zealot (still have my hat collection). Thanks a million. Never let them own you. There's a word for that.
Kung Fu Panda is cute. My favorite lessons: Give Value without Giving Yourself. Don't Share your Channel with friends and family (I've actually told the few friends that know about it, they're not allowed to subscribe). Don't depend on Adsense. And Be Unapologetically You and Existing Outside of UA-cam (this one is challenging me at this moment even though I have a blog... hmmm)
I'm over the moon that you decided to make this video!! And I'm just starting the video!! As I go further in, I realize that I've learned so much from you about being on UA-cam before you actually addressed the topic as you are today, just from your other videos. These could be the best BTS you've done!!
I am a new UA-camr of almost 4 months. I am a woman in midlife finally starting a channel after 5 years of wanting to do so, but putting it off. Your video is rch in wisdom and filled with such good advice. I really like what you had to say about not making content that is asked of you. I had someone ask me to make a particular video that really isn't me, but I thought maybe I should. I can see how that could lead to burnout really quickly. It is important that I honor myself and create from an authentic place, not just a "trying to please others" place. ❤I like your end outtakes, cute! 😅
Thanks for your video, which just turned up in my feed. I love your personality and matter-of-fact, no-nonsense style. I just got started about a month ago and gained 120K views, 8K of watch hours and 866 subscribers, so I’m getting there. I am learning a lot from your experience and advice. 😃
Once again, I know you didn't think so but Good video!!! Like you said YOU did, I've been thinking about having a channel, because I want to give to the world, but I don't know WHAT. Other than just being me,...I want to uplift, and share my experience as I go trying to be a home based artist. Doing what I love and being able to stay home eventually... ANYWAY... The take away for me from this video is to BE AUTHENTIC, and JUST BE MYSELF. And That. Is. All. And now I need to check on my ICU patients. Thank you for this. Seriously,...thank you.❤️❤️❤️
I follow a channel who does DIY but they are very interesting and have lots of following. I was so surprised to see the following demand things from them, want to know their personal business and to talk about them in comments like they were characters in a TV show. I worry too many are living in a fantasy land and do not understand it's a privilege that you share anything with them at all. I appreciate your honesty about all this. I think the ones who watch you understand you own you and you will do what you want to do.
Is this video for me? lol. Thanks for the video. I'm new to UA-cam and I can't find a personal video talking about how to UA-cam, it's all about how to game the algorithm and get subscribers to get monetized and I'm not interested in any of that. I know UA-cam did some algorithm changes last year so hopefully the alogirthm isn't as dumb assuming the occasional oddball video we watch is indicative that other people want to watch that same thing. It's frustrating because everyone is forced to make one type of content and not be authentic. Thanks again for the tips.
LOL I still need to upload more of the cows merch to the shop, been working on a different project last couple of weeks, but I will add more cow merch soon
Love the behind the scenes, so real 😂 I also was a big Cathrin Manning viewer who kept watching after her content changed. She is rarely on UA-cam these days, says she finds it easier to make money on TikTok!
I just started @ItalianMiniLinguist channel. It is so much work. So yes- totally agree- one has to enjoy something about the process or the topic to keep going. It is a commitment. Would be great if it was fun
Wishing you a good forthcoming year, it was interesting to see that you were doing a video on "before you start a channel" because that is what I was looking to do, one of those faceless one's, just to go through the process, to learn new skills and work towards completing something that is tangible, not for money or views but for the personal satisfaction that I can complete a task, as you know ADHD sucks, depression is debilitating and time is just a word. So focusing on the process is quite refreshing and you have given me alit to work with even though I am doing it faceless.
Hi Mey....I wish you the best and continued happiness with the cows in your yard...you've come a long way and I'm so happy to watch your progress......I'm wondering if 4th Wall allows sellers to access their clients' e-mail addresses or does 4th Wall keep the e-mail addresses hidden? I'm looking for an easy website "substitute" where I don't need to spend time on customer service but I would like to start an email list so I can contact people who buy my merch ..... any advice you have would be great.
Thank you for this i have debating with startung my own channel because i love so many rhings and was trying to find a niche. I dont have one but maybe that doesnt matter just starting might help me figure that out or i could just be a themed but i appreciate your videos very much so thank you
That makes me feel so good that you say that because I used to be in real estate and everything was workers sphere workers sphere and those were the people that would bring me down the fastest and I was thinking, though how in the world am I supposed to get it out there if I don’t put it on Facebook, but I don’t even wanna sell a pair of shoes on Facebook marketplace without restricting my friends from seeing it because it’s just so not what they wanna see and it’s not what I wanna shareso I’m thankful you said that I love your honesty and your common sense
Thanks for the breakdown! I need some advice: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
Would love to hear- which of the 13 lessons resonated with you the most?
(and, do you also think that my kung fu panda looks weird??)

I must say I love your shirt design ❤
Oh my goodness not telling your family is something that I learned the hard way.

Shiny shiny hair - whatever you’re using keep using it! ❤
Love how honest you are. Sounds like proper and good advice. Thank you!

Hey Mey! I need to buy one of your cow cushions lol

Thanks, Mey, for this video. I appreciate your openness and honesty-very helpful tips!

#8 Very amusing and how true. Keep being sarcastic it keeps you sane!
Oh no I already started my UA-cam channel before I saw this video. I hope it's not too late for me to benefit from this advice 😢
