Wow. So much of what of what you talked about resonated with me! I think this my favourite video of yours to date. And I love being part of the FB community group and chat. It's my go to place now to connect with other creative people, hang out, share stuff, and ask questions. Love it.

    Yes, great video!!!
I'd love more time for Me, to figure out who I am.... unfortunately I've pigeonholed myself into this hustle life, and unless I can get this business off the ground I won't be able to drop anything else that makes money.
I have appreciated allll your non-gate-kept content thus far.
From homeschooling mama by day, and Hospital Respiratory Therapist by night and trying to run a household during the day as well,.....I neeeeeed this to work. Would be the BIGGEST blessing ever if I could have a roadmap that would consistently help me get to where I'd like to be, just to replace my income.
I don't need to be rich, I just need to replace my income so I can REST, and have the time to actually take care of Myself 😂.
    Anyway, rambling here.
Happy New Year Mey. I hope you know how much some out here in this big big world appreciate you.
Over and out, from Adair Village Oregon....

This does seem to be the time of quiet desperation-hold onto hope and do what you can without over stressing yourself into being unwell. Just do a little at a time and it will add up beyond what you thought you could do.

Happy New Year!! Loved the video, thank you for sharing your resolutions w us! Definitely makes me think where do I want this year to go for me, my partner and my family? I love how brave you are! Change isn’t easy but sometimes necessary for true happiness. You inspire many maybe without even realizing it. So I’ve been reflecting on 2024 and planning what I want to do and do better in 2025. Excited for the new content on your channel you often open my mind, make me think and I will continue watching and learning from your explorations. Thanks again Mey, if I figure out some resolution’s exactly I’ll share!! ❤ Happy New Year to you all🎉🎉🎉

To get healthy do it incrementally. Start by adding some herbal tea options between coffees, teas that you like that give healthy benefits you want. For a treat try making some hot chocolate during these cold winter days. I use organic cocoa powder and vanilla stevia sweet drops (a lot to make it sweet & vanilla-y) sometimes with just water sometimes with some coconut milk (asthma can’t drink milk), sweet treat chocolate without calories. Be well Maya Mey Merry New Year🎉

Thanks, though I think maybe there was a misunderstanding.
I was saying that it's hard to plan healthy meals when you either over-work yourself, or in burn out, which is why I wanna avoid over-working, so i will naturally go back to eating what my body needs.
And thanks for the suggestions, but tea is not healthy for my stomach, and I am trying to avoid any cocoa based products- since they are not healthy for me. (Anything that has no calories actually doesn't give me the sugars I need with my blood disorder)
While I do appreciate the intention, the suggestions are not healthy for me. What's healthy for me is not over working, and having time to make the healthy food I am naturally craving

Hi Mey, thanks for the video. Much of it resonates with me, as I've been staying up till all hours starting an Etsy shop and now I'm sick, overweight, and burnt out. The shop is pretty dead post Q4 and I'm trying to just roll with that and relax and take time to build up slowly and with intention. Time to think about balance, and also purpose--loved the quote and I do want to hear more about how you integrate spirituality and work/life. I will also say: I'm a huge bleeding heart for animals as well and one goal of mine is to adopt a new rescue dog some time in the new year. Cheers to you in 2025 and wishing you all the best.

    Hi Mey,
Thank you so much for this video. It resonated with me deeply. It’s wonderful that you want to and are able to invest in your well-being. That’s more important to us viewers than a flood of videos.
My New Year’s resolution is also to take better care of my well-being. A few months ago, I became unemployed, and only recently have I realized how much I had been running on overdrive. Now I’ve been focusing on my well-being and made a big overhaul of my diet. I completely cut out white sugar and wheat, as I have always done whenever I’ve wanted to lose weight. I’ve also read a lot about the experiences of people with various autoimmune diseases, and so many of them say they find relief from their symptoms by cutting those out.
Other recommendations have included eliminating red meat and dairy products. I transitioned from being a vegetarian to a vegan and have tried to avoid processed foods, cooking everything from scratch. Funnily enough, it hasn’t been as much work as I had expected. The aching in my legs has stopped for the first time since it began a few years ago, and for the first time in years, I feel like I have energy. I’ve also lost a lot of weight, and as you said, it’s been just a positive side effect of the process.
Wishing you awesome New Year and success with your dietary changes!

I loved the video. I like how you got more personal and let us get to know you better. I look forward to the content coming our way. I like the idea of the human design chart, and I would love to hear more about it. Thanks, and happy New Year.

      @MeyTribe  6 днів тому +1

Happy to see others like the human design thing, and of course- it's nice to be appreciated for sharing ME.
You can go to myhumandesign.com to get a free chart and having those "definitions" to google.
I do wanna have some personalized component to my Human Design videos, so the second part of the series is planned for me to go over viewers' charts and providing some insight relating to business based on their design.
If you do run your chart, I would love to know what your type is :)

Happy New Year, Mey! Thanks for the wonderful video, and for sharing your resolutions, your thoughts, parts of your personal story, and those adorable baby animals at the end (great editing on the behind-the-scenes). I have never heard the phrase "soft girl era" before. It seems more like you're entering a balanced era? I am aiming for balance with my goals for 2025. Many of them are like yours: I aim to stretch my creativity, learn about more than just business stuff, and keep listening to myself when I need to rest. I hope you succeed at resting as much as you want and need.

Just keep saving art and blogs and content and put it all together to publish when you’ve got something that is cohesive for one niche. There will be the orphan art that needs to be adopted by a niche family just keep caring for it until it grows into its own place. Just keep on keepin’ on.

    Hi Mey,
Great video, just what I needed to hear. Would love a video on your faith/spirituality and your work. I know my spirituality plays a big part in my daily work and would love to hear about yours! Thank you for all you do :)

    • @MeyTribe

Thanks for that... I have had some weird backlash on DMs from me saying that, people decided that I am trying to convert them or something, and a lot of antisemitic responses came my way last night. It's nice to hear that someone like to talk about faith and spirituality, as my advice, or the concepts I wanted to talk about- have nothing to do with converting anyone.
      Happy new year hun !

What camera and equipment do you use? I completely relate to losing friends when they feel you're ahead of them. Sucks but honestly, I realize they're just unhealthy at the moment and will hopefully outgrow it one day. Happy New Year, God bless 🙏

usually I film with my Sony ZVE 10, and a Fifine microphone. In this video i was using the DJI pocket 2, without any external mic.
