Thanks for your vids! I've had one for a few years now and I think it's great. Batteries on mine last about 3-4 months but others may vary. I sat to install mine and I should have been standing when I programmed the finger print. The angle is a little off so one of these days I'll reprogram it. If I've been out in the rain it seems to work fine if the batteries are fresh but when the batteries are a little low I have to dry my thumb for it to open.
Thanks so much for this INSTALL video! Mostly very clear. However I have a question about the DOOR SENSOR. I agree. I hate the look of it on such a clean looking lock. It really messes with the reason of having one of this locks--the clean aesthetic. But my question is, what purpose does the door sensor serve??? And does every feature function normally without it. .It is not clear in any videos i have found yet--including from the company. Obviously you are using without it. Hopefully you can shed some light on this. Thanks
With the door sensor, it senses when the door is open, so the deadbolt will stay put while the door is open, when the door closes, the dead bolt will lock
