Remembering somewhere in 1984 I, as a fresh high school pupil, heard "unbelievable screams and noise" - the first BATHORY release on a tape...I thought to myself how could one dares to shriek on official music opus, how could it be so evil sounding? For a long period you don't have a picture..information on band and all this creates PHENOMENA, WEIRIDNESS. I soon "tatooed" my schoolbag with 3 logos: Slayer, Voivod and BATHORY (...and then Venom, Kreator...).And, of course, it means a connection between Quorthon and my nation/land as Bathory was caught in flagranti, judged and died in Čachtice, where we suck the history and tales in our childhood.
