- Its time to take apart the Google Pixel 5! Grab your teardown skin (and case if you want) HERE: dbrand.com/tea... The Google Pixel 5 has a 'bio-resin' covering over a metal core. It held up pretty well during my durability test... until I stabbed its battery. But apparently its got a few more seconds left of life in it. Today we are going to see the Google Pixel 5 from the inside, and see how big the wireless charging hole really is.

Zack, I am more than impressed by durability of this phone. Given that most of your phone's don't survive bend test whit only power button and sim tray/volume button are in same line. This phone survived everything with a circular cut out in its frame.

I didn’t give this phone enough credit. Durability and repairability are unreal, great job google engineers.
The screen replacement is definitely super easy, but pretty much everything else in this phone looks to be very difficult. You have to remove the battery without pull tabs to replace the motherboard, and the USB-C connector isn't replaceable
