Ben Gibbard is a lyrical genius.
NES ADDICT *_Exactly, my personal favorite is Soul Meets Body!_*
Still making amazing music 20 years in.a perfect group.no joke
God damn I am old. I remember listening to DCFC in high school, early 2000s.
I’m always curious which records did really well that they didn’t think would
*_Is it just me, or are his singing and talking voices pretty different? Sometimes I watch interviews just to hear singers’ real voices._*
*_NoiseFeedMusic Well, yeah, I guess I can kind of hear that._*
I literally came here to hear his speaking VS talking voice 😂
What an awful interviewer!
Hi Ambrus, what didn't you like about it?
An example: "...Was it kind of: OK, we should definitely make sure we're gonna deliver the best album we can?" - Hmmm, I wonder what they're gonna answer to that! See my point? You're lucky because Ben and Nick are genuinely nice and talkative people but bland and vague questions will get bland and vague answers most of the time.
Oh, stop being so picky. The interview was good. They have been a great band for many years. Even with the people that left. Going to see them in a few weeks. 2 states away. Love their new album Asphalt Meadows. Chill out man.
