      @@NiqLT would love to but every lab uses different media .. different dish prep so this would be a little tricky!!

    Hi thank you for making this channel! It’s so hard to find any information on the life of an embryologist. Is it possible if I can have an informational interview with you, I graduated from biomed and I’m very interested in becoming an embryologist.

    Very cool. The stripping seems like a relatively violent process. Are there any concerns that perturbing the embryo will introduce unwanted changes in gene expression/development? I know when I'm microinjecting zygotes (not human) even with just a fluorophore, I get a high percentage of abnormal development. I just figured the mechanical stimulation introduces changes because puncturing/disturbing the developing cell is not something that happens naturally in vivo.

      Hi! I did pre-med (biological sciences)! But in order to be trained they require a bachelors in science (bio or chem!) once you graduate you should look for a job as an andrology/endocrinology technician .. most labs want you to have ~2 years experience as that specific technician before they agree to train you as a junior embryologist! Once you move up to Jr Embryologist it takes around 5 years minimum to become fully trained! I’m going to do a video on the process .. stay tuned :)

    How much salary for embriologist?

    • @meetyourmakers4280
      @meetyourmakers4280  2 роки тому

      Hi there!! I have my bachelors and spent around 5 years training under a head senior! Salary range varies depending on where you live and what level you are at however in NYC juniors start on the low end at 60k and seniors on the high end hit around 170k annually! Hope this helps!
