As an IVF patient with healthy twins, I'm a huge fan of this field of medicine! If u go into this field please know that your patients will never forget you! You will make life happen where it could not! I think that's just such a unique field of medicine!

My doc is sending me to a reproductive endocrinologist ... not for trying to have a baby but because no one can help me with my high testosterone!! I am what my doctor calls abnornal pcos.. so i dont have excess hair ,, period changes or the normal symptoms.. just a big belly.. besides that im good . Need help .. its a pain everyone passes me back and forth.. i have hope with my new doc that im fnally going t the roght place

I'm really grateful I ran across this video! Pursuing medicine has always been my dream. After having been a surrogate twice I've been truly humbled by my experiences. I wear my heart on my sleeve even more now & I feel called to this field. This day in the life was very inspiring and showed a very detailed look into what an RE does, thank you for sharing!

An iconic moment in this video was the segment of Dr. Bedient in the construction helmet and vest. Who'd expect a physician to be in such garments? Yet that's where the real money is. Many premeds and laypersons look at doctors as financially secure or (dare I say) the epitome of financial success. Far from it. When private practice, development, and business are woven into the profession of medicine, financial independence and wealth accumulation is at their best. All too often, we think of being a high-earning employee as something to strive for. Some do, and that's okay, but Uncle Sam always takes his cut, and it just so happens the government takes the most significant sum from the hard-working employee.
So the husband is also a Doctor..that is wooow💕.. having someone who understands and helps you in every step in your life is a blessing.. I'm currently preparing for my 1st year medical exam and I look forward to have productive days as a doctor in the future
As an obgyn who is attempting her fellowship/ speciality exams in 2 weeks... I was never fascinated much by REI ...partly cause my country has no protected laws for patients benefits and it is abused alot by unnecessary IVF/ ICSI for faster results and monetary gain . and partly cause I just couldn't fathom the fact that some patients demand for children is more due to familial or societal pressure then personal choice .. however this video is so well shot and glamorous it does make one rethink .. wish me luck!
I am an Acute Care DNP student struggling to figure out what/where I want to go after graduation. I'm so torn with inpatient and outpatient, and I really don't know where I would be happy. But your words are inspirational, and honestly that breath of fresh air that I needed. It would be such an inspiration to work with you! Physicians (and all health care team!) like you are who I want to work with in the future!

I haven’t looked into that. I assumed it was very low risk since suction is generally used effectively, but I could be wrong
