I remember I was rooting 4 Springsteen's song watching the Oscars....until I saw Neil Young come on and perform this. It was jaw droppingly poignant. He should've won, yes...
@@johnbrowne3950 I'm guessing there was just a bigger groundswell of love and support for Springsteen among Academy voters... and certainly Springsteen is a great talent...
Maybe, but the idea of two such astounding songs being nominated in the same year is beyond comprehension. That they were both in the same film is either ridiculous or sublime.
I was blessed to see Tori in concert at the Magestic Theater in downtown San Antonio in 1998. It was one of the best concerts I have EVER been to. She is dynamic!!
The Tower Theater it's a great place to see a concert. This theater has always been in the music scene. I seen Bill Haley and the comets here on film in 1955 . I seen several concerts just in the last few years here. They have a very long Bar that you can buy drinks at also . extremely cool
very good but lost some emotion of the original when she sang Philadelphia at the end of the verses to add a vocal melodic expansion instead of doing it with the piano
Young's song should have won the Academy Award.

@@user-yb8vr2ip2t Maybe Springsteen won because he's American and Young is Canadian.

@@user-yb8vr2ip2t Springsteen's song is very good. Young's is better. And no doubt the scene at the end of the movie helps.

This song makes me cry every damn time.
It goes right through to the heart. of things. I’m not a bad person. I use to be a child just like you. I’m frightened. Please don’t leave me alone.
Great Cover & a Masterpiece written by Neil Young !!
I was there at this concert, this was an amazing cover of a beautiful song. I'm not sure she has ever done a better cover.

Hey ... Great job with the audio .... One of the most beautiful songs on YT .... Thanks ...
I love Tori and all she does. One of her bests. She truly gets it
Her greatest cover, and yet so few views.
That would be because, hateful people hate Neil Young and the truth he brings. They will hate Tori to. I LOVE THEM BOTH
Thank you Tori for this....
Beautiful ❤️❤️❤️

Uhmazing
Pretty, but doesn't affect me like Neil Young's does.
Ringatózom veled az időben.
