Why won't she perform with this kind of energy anymore?? It's not about age, it's not about high notes, it's about energy. Lately she sings like every note is tiny and precious and it is rare that she just lets it RIP like this.
This is also right after 9/11 it had an effect on her performances...this tour was one of the best , if not the best
I think she just has a different kind of energy, I think it's an age thing. I find her energy more psychological when she performs and extremely nuanced, but not in this way. I have thought the same myself, but as everyone evolves and changes so has Tori. She always floors me when I see her live however!
Zam Art this tour was my 1st time seeing Tori, took my breath away. And every time after that, literally every time, Toris performance inspired the same level of amazement, appreciation, and respect. 2001 was definitely heavily influenced by 911, 2002/3 was with the band but more subdued than 2007/9 all bubbling exuberance and theatrical expressiveness. tl;dr imo every time the lady gets out there, she will mess you up with whatever medicine you need at that moment in time ❤️❤️❤️
