On hear me out. I made pine syrup this year based on some stuff that I saw from you. I am actually making apple butter this weekend and your video was super helpful and timely. Could I use the pine syrup instead of maple syrup? Do you think that would be good?
Every recipe is on my website there’s a link at the top of the video description. On my site you can print them off and they’re free to view. You tube doesn’t have any kind of similar interface.
Skins in apple butter is lazy. Why anyone would leave the skins in it is beyond me. Do you want it creamy, soft and smooth, or.....with chewy skins in it?
Don't hate the lazy skin eaters! I can as much food as I can to preserve and to eat and am always look for ways to cut back on processing times. I also am looking to maximize the nutritional and fiber content in my food and it is my understanding that apples skins add to the nutritional and fiber content of the final product. And throwing away good food is something I was reminded to avoid as a child. And one final reason is if I go out an buy fancy processing mills, I will have to go back to work and won't have the time or energy to can food anymore. I wouldn't peel a fresh apple before I eat, so when I can, I will keep eating my sauced skins and you may call me lazy, cheap, and pretty sure I will never get to be a chef, for what ever that is worth, probably not much. I do like the recipe though.
Like I said, I am definitely not a chef and certain in comparison to your cooking skills, anything I make would probably be considered "pig slop". And you have the luxury of being able to throw what I consider to be perfectly healthy food to the pigs. And no worries on my showing up on your doorstep with any of my slop, as I would never consider trying to feed my cooking to a chef. Just thought I would share why someone might not throw out apple skins, like I said for what ever it might be worth. Sorry to slop on your recipe and again thanks for the video.
Your website is fantastic! The photography, presentation.. awesome

It never occurred to me to bake it. Thank you.
Yep it's a game changer.
Looks great!

Alan has had it up to HERE with these "fancy applesauce" blasphemers
Yes I have 😂
I just discovered a siberian crab apple tree in my neighborhood
Haven’t had those. There’s so many kinds to try!
So what's the reason for no skins?

@@TomJablonski Hey you want to leave skins in your apple sauce at your house, go for it. Just don’t come to my house with a bowl of that pig slop 😄.
