Amazing class. It was an excellent way to reintroduce movement to my body after a migraine episode. Thank you as always, Katja! I appreciate you reminding us to breathe-- I sometimes catch myself holding my breath in strenuous poses.
Unfortunately could manage to do this over 2 days:(How I would have loved to do this in one session! Some day soon! Especially liked the one leg chaturanga in the variation 💕Was so happy that I could manage it inspite of the huge gaps nowadays in my asana/pilates practice! Just happy whenever I can make the time!
Finally managed to do this in one go today! Loved it all the more!! The highlight was the one legged chaturangas 💜 Simply loved the soothing piano music for the shavanasana💕A perfect well rounded class, as always🌄
Katja, you almost killed me. I didn't manage everything, but this time, I didn't give up and continue when I could. You are wonderful. I exercise with you morning/night routine and god! I feel better.
Tuned in this morning expecting to do a Pilates class with you. Saw your new posting and thought great! Only when I got 2 minutes into the class that I realised it was yoga! Decided to stick with it. Thankfully, some of the yoga moves have been copied from Pilates😉, so able to do some of it. Every time you said ‘bring your hands to your heart’ I thought it was the end of the lesson😂. Learnt some interesting new words as well! Must have been a hard session because I noticed you had a ‘sleep’ on the mat towards the end of the class….you don’t do that with the Pilates😉. Thanks Katja, looking forward to your next pilates class😘

Yes, Mr Joseph Pilates took a lot of inspiration from yoga (and other forms of sports) to create his exercise system 'Contrology' - now we call it Pilates. Hence you will have recognized similar moves.:) The final ' sleep' is called Savasana, it's the final relaxation where the body absorbs the benefits of the practice, it's part of a complete Yoga class. We could add it to Pilates too;) Have a great day. 🙏😊🙏
