This totally made me buy one just now. $135 at Atlantic Firearms.
I think this is the best-looking handguard and rail solution.

This is made in america, looks cool and what it offers is also cool, with this product I hope it gives me enough rail space to mount a LAM, and white light so I can actually shoot my MP5 under nods.

We had tri rails and pic rail before but this I feel will be huge for modernizing. Especially if you also want to run it with night vision. Just a question if it can hold zero.
Wish they had one for the Mp5k 😢

I picked up some nice pistol light laser combos from Leapers UTG but why haven't I seen this until now. This being a monolithic upper definitely requires some research.
My mp5 already weighs 9 pounds loaded. I think I'm good with my little claw mount pic rail
I am thoroughly surprised and disgusted that a UTG product looks this sexy.
Was it easy to install the ambi-selector switch for your Zenith MP5?
so with this installed will it interfere with the new magpul sl stock.
This looks cool for those who are new to the mp5 platform but I wouldn't recommend ditching an existing system for it.
For me personally, I don't like that it no longer looks like an mp5 and looks a lot closer to the sig 556.
However, the function of it is NICE.
Again, if someone JUST grabbed an mp5, its a good contender, but if you already have a b&t tri-rail or Midwest/Magpul m-lok, I wouldn't ditch them for this as this one seems to weigh more.
Have one and doesn’t weigh anything and solid system, I don’t care about looks as this allows me multiple options for mounting what I need.
@@ngaoutdoors4157 they're not going to add a ton, it's just more material than it's competitors.
If one wanted to mount via picatinny, they'd run a B&T or KAC .
And before this, if someone wanted mlok they'd run the Midwest Industries mlok handguard which is giving you the same mounting functionality as the UTG.
The difference being that the Midwest allows users to choose handguard only or combine it with their rail system (to shave weight when you pile on attachments).
The UTG has it all in one piece. They're skinning the same cat.

Some firearms do not need to be modernized. It does change the look. I want a MP5, not what that now looks like.
Says it’s not an ad but is wearing a hat with the brand’s logo on it. Doesn’t make it automatically an ad but doesn’t exactly make you look like an impartial reviewer.
Regarding the handguard, pretty neat despite coming from a low-quality surplus store grade brand. I wouldn’t tarnish the iconic look of an MP5 with it but I hope they make it for the HK53 or HK51.
How well does it hold zero over time?
New to the MP5 world, would this work on a HK MP5 22?
do the mounting pins/screws scratch up the receiver at all? it looks pretty cool and functional but if i ever want to return back to stock i dont want to find out my 3000 dollar gun is all scratched up from the mounting system.
The pins are notched and interface on the tabs on the receiver just like any other scope mount/pic mount

How dirty does it get underneath the top rail section ? Wouldn't this hold moisture as its technically a cover ?
How bad does it wear the finish off the gun ? I can’t see people wanting to use it on a HK. Maybe a MKE.

I mean, yea. But how often are you wiping down the outside of the gun? Everything you NEED to clean comes off/out with it on.
Just got this thing and cannot install it. My charging handle is to big and the handle slot does not match with the handguard. Spent hours trying to get this thing on with no luck.
That doesn’t make any sense if you MP5 is standard.
Anybody try it on the .22lr for shits and giggles?
Super disappointed. I have a ptr ct-cl. Everything was perfect, except the charging paddle makes contact with some of the areas when charging. I would dremel out the parts making contact but would rather not risk it. I honestly liked this more than the midwest industries hand guard. Oh well, glad it worked out for you!
Contact them and tell them. I’m sure they’ll get you squared away. It also may be twisted just a hair making the Channel off

Please don't mislead people by saying UTG makes quality stuff. UTG DOES NOT EQUAL UTG PRO. They might be under the same parent company but the quality is a lot different. UTG Pro is made in the US with better quality control, while UTG is made overseas. I will only buy UTG Pro if someone doesn't offer something better. I have been looking for a good mounting solution for my MP5 to replace my Midwest Industries stuff that would allow me to have a more streamline NV setup and I think this is it. I preface this by saying there is way better stuff for the price out there, like Midwest, or even Aero Precision. Support American companies like Arisaka, or BFG, Magpul, or DD for things like M-lok, segments, mounts, and other things you might throw on your gun. Do more research, there are thousands of small companies that make attachments and accessories that will fit your budget and be quality.
