I'm glad you talked about pin hole sizing. I just put a Spuhr buffer tube adapter on my PTR carbine and I had to hammer the pins in with a punch. No trouble like that with the A2 fixed stock that the rifle came with. I was worried that I did something wrong, but I suspected that the tolerances might not line up right.
PTR's come with a pic rail adapter on the back. Didn't realize that before I bought. Pretty nice surprise
Just received my tax stamp a few days ago for the SP5k, was planning to get the choate stock but WOW, that Sig skeleton stock looks excellent and I like that stiff mount without much wobble in it. Wish it folded the same way as the choate stock but I think I may fork over the extra cash for it anyway.
I use a Choate Stock on my Z5P most of the time. However, I love using my ACR Stock on it. Haga Defense has a 1913 end cap that’s perfectly snug, so I can use a 1913 adapter on my ACR Stock and A3 Tactical Magpul recoil pad. U can position the ACR Stock so that u can use Irons when u push the cheek riser down. Try out The ACR Stock, you’ll love it.

A3 Tactical does same thing. Check them out too. Also, someone needs to do a Choate Stock for 1913 adapter.

I ground off the sling loop on my pistol cap after tax stamp of course and mounted a 3 dollar aluminum rail on mine. Kate Moss MPX stock works like a charm on it.

I have a mpx, hate the sliding turning arm brace. If swap with a stcok would that change the ATF rule? I dont' wanna break any law. Thanks

Sorry man that ump stock just does it for me I'ma taller guy and I love the length of pull it offers it's so comfortable. Optics look cool on the mp5 they really do but the irons on it for me work perfectly. Throw a flashlight on that bad boy and it's as good as gets
i hear you bro! I do always run it in classic form with no optic. I also have pictures with a light mounted on the side pic rail. The MP5K is such a sweet little set up. The only reason i took the UMP off was to keep it correct with the Choate stock.

Will the Sig pdw collapsible brace fit on an mp5k with that adaptor?..with the rails fitting properly into the grooves and such.

@Vadim Lebed Now that I think about it, the pic rail does provide vertical adjustability, so perhaps it’s just a matter of lining it up properly.

tomfrajman not sure. I didn’t ask and they didn’t say. Shoot them a message or comment on IG and ask. I’m sure it’s possible, but with it being a bigger piece to fabricate, it likely won’t be cheap. Not a bad idea though for a smaller stock option on a full-size gun!

How is that little 3 slot pic rail attached, up at the right side of your foregrip? Looks like you have a standard "K" style broohandle, did you drill some holes?

Why complain about Sig not making a QD point for the stock but pay $3,000 for a Turkish clone that doesn't even have a last round bolt hold open? The MPX is the modern day MP5 killer.
Actually I would disagree. I would say the B&T sub guns are. Personally I like the GHM9, but I got a zenith instead because... well, HK style gun and who doesn’t like a MP5?
