I'm amazed how time flies! I remember when these came out, I said to myself; way cool compared to my old tjet! Somehow never got to buy one! On your question, I'm not one to put too much $$ into vintage slotcars. They were meant to race, and I raced the heck out of them.
Great gesture to the veterans! To some collectors the lower production cars are more desirable. Most times to me I could care less as long as the package is in good shape. Yes scratches etc make a difference in resale value. The more like "new" the better. 😁👍🏁
