@@ShycoWar They are uncharacteristic, but Stephen just exudes the energy of an exasperated grandparent, so the swear just feels like he's (comedically) at wit's end.
I would love it if they only did one book. But each person would write multiple non-continuous entries. They would know what they wrote earlier, but get something very different. Seeing 100+ entries for one book I think would be hilarious. (EDIT: I meant doing this only one time)
The big problem with that is that it would take a lot longer to make. Making 13 different stories allows them to be made simultaneously, so the same amount of content in a single story would take about 13 times as long. They could choose to do it with just a smaller group, but it would still generally take longer to make and produce less content.
Favorite story was Fuck Marry Hell, favorite sentence was "The Japanese TV host asked Thomas his name, and Thomas said, 'Elephant-hating Thomas', which was a lie, because his actual name was just Thomas."
As Alex requested: My favorite story was the Sonic fanfiction one, the first half slowly built up the world before it was ripped out from under me by the Sega executives, now I'm left yearning something the very story's end criticized. The Miyamoto one was also good, rip Kilomario. My favorite sentence was "A good blueberry is hard to find".
My thought process looking at my YT feed: >Saturday night, Stephen + Friends! >What is that thumbnail. >Oh, it's Broken Picturephone, right. >No wait, it's Broken PHONE! Oh dear... >55 MINUTES?!
Memorable moments suggestions 1:05- 4:56 Nintendo has had enough with fans complaining. 9:03- 12:00 I could see this being the plot of an anima. 20:10- 23:31 Old western themed Yu-hi-oh 28:22- 29:54 40:09- 45:42 Japanese game show with twists.
I think I absolutely lost it at the Cowboy Yugi vs Kaiba duel. Thank you Tom. You made my day. Now if you excuse me I need to find a tissue to wipe my tears.
Tom getting someone to say "Slahb Yahm Kus" was the best thing ever. I wish he did that for everyone, would love to hear someone more innocent saying it.
I still dont know how Tom Fs story went from Yugi using a millennium revolcer dueling Kaiba using a blue-eyed-white-glock to lobster grandma telling you to eat her?
7:05 And Stephen has done it again, he didn’t like where a story was heading so he nope’d out of there yet again! 😅 And he keeps mentioning going to the kitchen for a snack
I gotta say this has probably overtaken the origin of Crabs. Flesh. As my favorite Broken (Picture) Phone episode for the sheer absurdity of it. Hello Kitty's Final Smash is an absolutely WILD opening
I like the one where the goat blood ritual leads to the goddess of cheerleading helping the Soviet gymnasts absorb their fathers soul and become star people to fight Mechagodzilla. Also there isn't a hyphen in Mechagodziila. You're thinking of Mecha-King Ghidorah.
There are so many great moments in this episode but somehow the one that most had me dying was when they just screamed "WAAAAAAAAAOOO" in an attempt to recreate the CSI intro
Gotta say love these random stories~ I do have suggestion for a game mode to add, and that is a jackbox like gamemode where all of you gather to make one ultimate story. It starts by picking the introduction of story with your folk's choices, people vote on the best of the number of choices people have laid for that part, then it continues until based on the number of people, or the manual number length. Then after the last line done it is tallied who's choices are the most, and they're declared winner. Just thought I throw something~
Well Geoffrey the Giraffe is the mascot of Toys-R-Us. Since everyone was talking about toys and closed stores it was implied that it was that Geoffrey so it’s not a stretch at all that he’d say giraffe.
24:05 Stephen took a big risk putting that there if he wasn’t actually the last prompt like he thought he was then the next person would have absolutely no context or anything to go by!🤣 Edit: 27:05 Lindsey did it to?! Umm was this just luck or does the game actually tell you how many people/prompts are left?
@@chaz3421 okay good I was getting a bit concerned. Is that a more recent addition? Because I’m pretty sure in an older episode the opposite problem happened where someone wrote it as though it was the end but they weren’t actually the last prompt!
This game reminds me of back when we were on Gaiaonline and my friends would roleplay. We posted stuff in forum threads roleplaying as members of the Twilight universe. My contributions were probably more cringe than I remember....
First off, I love the video and the content, always tons of laughs but am I the only one a little saddened that the barbarian being saved by the bard was wrong. A barbarian can’t be charmed while raging. I know I’m thinking about this too much and need to let it slide
Not only did Mal write the Fuck Marry Kill part, she also wrote "HOLY SHIT, that's PURPLE HAZE! I'm Jimi-Fucking-Hendrix!"
Who knew that “So I did.” could be a sentence that said so much. Also, Dan’s book is surprisingly coherent. And so was Paul’s
It will never not be jarringly hilarious to hear Stephen swear.
Mal willingly including some swears of her own in her contributions is no different, I reckon :P

@@MagicalEmma6 maybe for an anniversary special or something
You are right Emma, I was not thinking about writing at same time. I was also thinking of them doing it only once.
Oh this is a great idea lolllll
9:34 Tom you mad man (also bless Dan for reversing that/Brandon for reading it)
Favorite story was Fuck Marry Hell, favorite sentence was "The Japanese TV host asked Thomas his name, and Thomas said, 'Elephant-hating Thomas', which was a lie, because his actual name was just Thomas."
note how Stephan does not start talking until after tom the rules hold true even outside of disc only

Alex's first attempt at a Thomas impression being rooster-like gave me a sense of joy I haven't felt since the start of the episode

It’s not enough that everyone nearly killed me with their writing and storytelling, but the infectious laughter caused me to pause multiple times
I still dont know how Tom Fs story went from Yugi using a millennium revolcer dueling Kaiba using a blue-eyed-white-glock to lobster grandma telling you to eat her?
That’s why they said 10 paces; instead of dueling they ended up walking away from each other!
Mal typing in swears. That makes it all the more hilarious lol.
Elephant Hating Thomas is one of my favorite things ever written
I love the Yu-Gi-Oh one cause they're literally "dueling".
Amazing humor!
Finally, Weird Al's third eye has decalcified.
Also, I need a Metroid game starring Admiral Giraffe now.
Broken Phone might be my favorite Stephen & Friends content on the channel. Dan's book had me rolling
7:05 And Stephen has done it again, he didn’t like where a story was heading so he nope’d out of there yet again! 😅
And he keeps mentioning going to the kitchen for a snack
So can we just talk about the fact that Stephen's book wasn't just one story in a story, but TWO stories in a story?
The Dan and Haley one-two punch of Don McLean and Weird Al Segway is just the best thing.
Man… that was the best episode of yugioh that never was…
Tiny Debbie needs to try some of Tiny Eddie's Brazil-grown chocolate-covered cement thins! xD
4:45 If Twilight can become a movie, certainly Kilomario can! Get to work, Miyamoto!
I gotta say this has probably overtaken the origin of Crabs. Flesh. As my favorite Broken (Picture) Phone episode for the sheer absurdity of it. Hello Kitty's Final Smash is an absolutely WILD opening
Wow, I just came back from singing the mass that Alex quoted at the beginning of the video. What a weird coincidence.
40:18 is this the long awaited sequel to The Good Burn?
Each of these stories had more sudden swerves than the entirety of the Kingdom Hearts plot and I love it.
This video had me laughing so hard I had to pause the video to breathe. These are amazing.
Someone honestly needs to animated those stories
Becca is on it
The goddess of cheerleading is definitely one of my favorites, especially Brandon's voice
11:36 ok how does this keep happening to me. I JUST started reading "The Great Gatsby" for school and now it pops up in the video. What luck
I've read the title, watched part of the video for context, and I still have many questions... none which I think I can put into words.
Chaz has very good voices.
50:49 Stephen why did you write “Toys R Us giraffe” instead of “Admiral Giraffe”, I’m so confused.
LEGUME DADDY

Really rolled when the witch was bouncing like a waterbed as she can from Banjo Kazooie 😂
This was not the episode to eat a snack and watch, because the amount of times I almost choked on my snack laughing too hard was a lot.
Watching this when I am constantly coughing probably wasn't a good idea but it was a good laugh
Chaz best voice actor
There are so many great moments in this episode but somehow the one that most had me dying was when they just screamed "WAAAAAAAAAOOO" in an attempt to recreate the CSI intro
this made me laugh so hard that i had to pause the video times to give myself time to breathe.
Why must you post an hour long video at 11pm my time? I don't care, I didn't need sleep today.
49:30 Wow, Giraffe Town 2 looks really good.

Just a reminder that the lobster story originated as Yu-Gi-Oh with guns instead of cards...
The fridge LIVES ON
This is the April Fool that keeps on giving
40:24 Not that I’m complaining because this is hilarious, but why does Thomas sound like Colin Mochrie’s impression of an Arctic Tern?
How long until someone actually writes a 500-word comment like Alex said?
16:15 - Isn't this book just Helltaker?
"Pancakes."
I actually almost passed out watching this I was laughing so hard.
Oh my god the Thomas elephant story killed me
HOW DID NO ONE MENTION THAT THOMAS BROUGHT BACK THE GIRAFFE IN THE LAST BOOK, EVEN THOUGH IT WASN'T MENTIONED FOR A LONG TIME BEFORE THAT
Well Geoffrey the Giraffe is the mascot of Toys-R-Us. Since everyone was talking about toys and closed stores it was implied that it was that Geoffrey so it’s not a stretch at all that he’d say giraffe.
So... where's that AO3 link to the Banjo fanfic? 👀
..................... chilli con carnival :p
The D&D one was my favorite, and I will now listen to Jimi Hendrix.
Paul’s reading voice is excellent! Hahaha
I have to agree that after the lobster story I also needed a break to catch my breath lmao
There were so many closed fridge doors in these stories
Is Dr Sanderson actually tiny Eddie??
I'd pick up Kilomario.
I was hoping the doctor in the Debbie book would end up unmasking into the Hostess when he was pulling his face off
This was truly beautiful.
The Banjo-Kazooie fanfic one was great!
Has Mal played Banjo-Tooie? Because Mingella is from Tooie, she's not in Kazooie.
Tom's is my adolute favorite, and Hayley's was- wow.
Please, someone tell me where to find these animations. I need that in my life
Toms Cowboy Yugioh was the best!! Blue Eyes White Popgun.... great :D
Surprised none had a magical musket 20:00.

We need someone to animate one of these gems! (Wish I could, but I have enough hobbies.)

Story into story. Suggestive themes.
Post the Banjo-Kazooie fanfiction to AO3, cowards
Indeed, my dudes!
Chaz should do voices more often!

19:05 I, a polyamorous person, laughed at this. Thanks, Emmy.
Plz somebody make a fanfic about tue original YugiOh anime but set in Texas!
Where's Josh Jepson? Where?
