    How do you like the power with the 570? I was thinking about getting the same quad. 570 or 850. Maybe the 850 is a little overkill but it also might help in the mountains at higher elevation.

    • @ThrottleoutTV
      @ThrottleoutTV  3 роки тому +1

      To be honest, it has enough power to do most things, but if you start getting into bigger tires 27, 28 inch and up you will start to notice lack of wheel speed in mud holes, if you're into that sort of thing. I am going for a bigger atv hopefully this year but that's just me wanting more HP and a mud dedicated atv.

      @@ThrottleoutTV not really lookig at mudding, more trails and utility. Trying to stay stock setup as much as possible. Maybe tire type upgrade and utility type things.
      I hear ya though, the mud definitely requires specific upgrades and power for good success in it.
      Cheers!

    Hello, what is a typical lifespan of a machine like this in terms of mileage or functioning hours? I would like to buy one and do the maintainence by myself. I live in Europe and I am planning to do 50% tarmac and 50% offroad with steep ascends/descends on slopes and natural ramps. Should I consider the same reliability of a motorcycle of the same displacement? Thank you for your answer!

    • @ThrottleoutTV
      @ThrottleoutTV  4 роки тому +1

      Thanks for the great questions! As for the mileage, I have heard of 10,000+ kilometers (6000+ miles) with 700+ hours all offroad on the sportsman with proper maintenance and minor repairs. Maintenance is fairly easy on the 570. I don't personally ride on tarmac but with the right tires it will do just fine. As for getting a ATV or motorcycle is more of a personal choice. I like the abilities of the ATV more such as going through mud holes, the comfort and more forgiving on rocky and/or tire ruts. But I will say that ATVs have a high role over rate. They also make ATVs with hill descent and engine breaking (mine doesn't have either). Dirt bikes on the other hand can go more places (tighter trails), with experience they can ascend/descend just as good if not better. I hope that I was of some help and please let me know on what you decide on!

      @@ThrottleoutTV Thank you! I feel like an ATV is a world apart from motorcycles. I used to ride a moped (a 50cc schooter) 25 years ago, so the ATV choice is more intriguing to me, especially because it would be a fresh new experience. I don't like to drive fast, just exploring nature during leasure time in a calm and relaxing way. Staying in sitting position, without touching the ground with the feet, at a very low speed, is what arouse my curiosity. I live on the outskirts, don't have a trailer and will visit the boondocks by driving the ATV. I feel like the 570 Sportsman is the best possible choice in therms of price and value, plus with the driving licence of my car I don't need to pass a new driving exam for using the ATV. Let's see, maybe the first months of next year I will pull the trigger. I would be very happy and exited to buy one. For now, watching your videos, I think I have a similar experience to owning one. Ok, it is a virtual thing, but with pov videos I have almost the same feelings of driving the ATV myself and visiting new areas. Thank you very much for your answer!

      @@safewaycart I'm very glad I could help and that my videos are of help as well! ATV to me can be a lot more relaxing as you mentioned not having to put your feet down at low speed, and being able to just sit and enjoy the ride. The sportsman 570 is definitely a good bang for your buck. Not to mention they are very reliable, they have enough power to do just about anything. Buying an ATV is definitely an exciting experience, if and when you pull the trigger and buy one, I would love to hear what you purchased. Thanks for watching, I will have some more videos soon.

    • @ThrottleoutTV
      @ThrottleoutTV  3 роки тому

      For me at least, not very hard at all. But if you do alot of mud holes, deep sand that kind of thing it can get very hard on the shoulders, you definitely feel it the next day. But as for trail riding, utility use not hard at all. Tires matter as well, the stock tires its easy, as for the mudlite 2 I found it a bit easier to turn the handle bars. The extra money for power steering is worth it to me at least.

      Have you tried them in snow

    • @ThrottleoutTV
      @ThrottleoutTV  3 роки тому

      Hello Pat Lef, these Mudlite are good for the most part, they tend to plow (front tires slide) when breaking around corners on loose ground such as gravel. They work great in mud and hard surfaces, I have not had a chance to use them to plow snow but I would say they would do good as they have great clean out (they eject snow, mud off with little wheel speed). If you have a 2019 sportsman 570 and put 25x7r12 mudlite on the front you will need to put the tie rod ends on the bottom of the mount on the macpherson strut as they will rub on the tie rod rubber boot. Message me again if you need help I can make a short video for you and show you what I mean. Sorry I couldn't be more help with answering if they're good for plowing snow.

    Where is ya get the a arm skid plates ?

    • @ThrottleoutTV
      @ThrottleoutTV  Рік тому

      I got them from ricochetoffroad.com. There are two problems I have with them, but not a deal breaker for me. One is if you go through mud holes they tend to hold the mud and debris so you have to clean them off often so it doesn't wear your axle boot. Another is if you do rock climbing, you can wear the bolt down which makes it hard to remove them as they are a torx. I would recommend replacing them with carriage bolts. Other than that they are high quality, 3/8 inch thick aluminum and very light. Would definitely recommend them!

    How hard was it to attach the gse muffler

    • @ThrottleoutTV
      @ThrottleoutTV  2 роки тому

      It's pretty easy. Just have to take off 2 bolts and take off the 2 exhaust springs and the muffler slides right on. You might need a new exhaust gasket (5-10$) I did not need one as I had very low mileage when I upgraded my muffler. Replace bolts, exhaust springs and you are ready to hit the trails. Hope this helps!

Fox can be pricey too, but a little bit cheaper. you can't really go wrong with fox if you get the right shock for your style of riding. Hope this helps!
