My 2024 570 already has 6,846 kms on it. So far 4 oil changes 3 differential fluid changes , never seen water , it's a nice long trail riding machine runs and drives like day one , show your machine love ❤❤ and in return she will do the same😊
I had a 21 570. it was great, used it in mud a lot. only issue i had was the tensioner in the trans was no longer intact. had front wheel drive only lol. wasnt hard to replace at all, pulling the trans was the worst part.
@@TheTechGuider never seen any Polaris motor that was well designed I used to be a Polaris guy until I got sick of working on them and not being able to ride always broke down bc Polaris motors are junk my rotax motor would outlive any Polaris
hey rock, quick question for you if i may as i seen many of your vids and trust your opinion,i have a 2006 polaris 500 sportsman efi and battery light flashes at high rpm but not at normal cruising speed.its always starts everyday with no problem.just high rpm light flashes.would battery be going bad even if its runs and starts good all the time?thanks
@jeffster111made It sounds like your machine is overcharging at high rpm. If you take a multimeter to the battery and rev it up in neutral it should be around 14volts. If it’s a lot more than that, you have an issue with your charging system.
Sure looks like a nightmare to put back together but I got faith in you've done it plenty of times. My question is where are you on the red grizzly? last you cleaned it up and was getting parts for it is that machine still around?
Ive rebuilt 2 sportsman 570 engines for customers of mine and they both experienced the same failure as this machine, seems to be from people running too thick of oil. The crank uses a brass bush instead of a roller bearing and it needs 5w40 or thinner oil to have a long life. Just get a rod kit and repair the crank.
@jackdewinter6837 I didnt show it in the video but there is some where grooves on the mag side of the crank where it rides on the plain bearing in the case.
I have a 2023 and looking to lift it around that height any way we can see more of the suspension set up,hard to find anything on the 570s because of the struts up front.
Just add upper mounts and run ranger 900 front uppers and lowers if it’s a ranger 570, rum sportsman 850 uppers and lowers. About to start my ranger this week
Great video excited to see the assembly when you get the parts! About to pull a 2018 Polaris 570 engine out just like you did. Bought it from a guy who said he burned a hole through two different pistons has low compression and needs a top end. Maybe a seal went bad making it run lean? What do you think?
On 2 stroke engines the crank seals can suck air and take out a top end quick. Not so much on a 4 stroke though.. any idea how long between the rebuild and when it blow through the next piston? Intake boots that are ripped can cause dust to enter the engine and scar up the side of it. However if it’s actually burning a hole in the piston I’d say it might have some injector issues.
Hi I have a question my 570 turn over and it sounds like it wants to start but it doesn’t. I replaced the CPS because the code was on for it. I changed the fuel pump, spark, plug, and the battery. I can get it to turn on by turning the key and giving it gas at the same time. Sometimes it turns on like that. Could it be the woodruff key? It has made a little over 600 hours I believe. I’ve been searching the website for months can’t figure it out I’ll appreciate it if you can give me your opinion. Thank you for your time
Customer needs to go after the shop that did the top end because the rod play was so obvious they had to have been either complete idiots or didn't care.
Things a pos 😂 This one’s bad neglected 😅 I won’t be buying another Polaris, my 570 ranger has needed so much and only has 300 hours. Engine had been flawless at least
@@alexprince9035 right at 3000 but it’s for the farm, never seen mud and it’s all flat. Never even used the 4x4 on it. @@freedomisntfree_44 that sounds about right normal wear. The front prop shaft is rotating regardless if you have it in 4x4 or not. It’s just the front diff that locked when you put it in 4x4 when the armature plate gets magnetized. 3k miles for wheel bearings also sounds about right as well.
@@freedomisntfree_44 it’s because the Honda has less then half the hp. If I was doing farm work I’d buy the Honda but for trail riding either Polaris or can am
No reason to lie bud. Took one loop around a dusty dirt circle and it blew up again. All of maybe 6 minute ride in a circle had no intentions of beating it that weekend as I was doing the break in period well was trying to at least before it blew up
100% maybe quarter throttle just putting around the circle after I had just unloaded the trailer pits weren’t event open yet. Not only that I didn’t wanna beat it cause I didn’t have the muffler and I was trying to break it in. Not every one is a scummer and lies about stuff. 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
That happens to many times.Big tires means big mud holes.Need 4 feet snorkels..Keep up the great videos.
Absolutely, you start playing in the mud and water you’re going to end up breaking stuff..
Amazing talent you have knowing what to do to fix it. I was lost after you took the oil filter off 😂
wow a 2016!!that sure had a rough life for sure!!glad to see you back on atvs!!!always enjoy your vids!!!!
Love the polaris content! Came from tiktok. Have a 21,570 myself with 5400 kms and 240 hours. With only a belt and regular maintenance, she purs
Glad you made it over here, hope you enjoy the long form content as well.
I enjoyed this one a lot hopefully we get a rebuild video
@adrienfortin4411 They’ll be another video on it. Getting together a price for the rebuild.

Im also getting in a scrambler 400 rebuild. Oil pump lever seized open .

Well designed engines lol 😂

That's a shame. I bet the rod had play as the new piston and jug went on.
I’m positive it did.. not sure how it wasn’t caught during the rebuild.
Any possibility there will be a video of the rebuild? I'm going through the same thing at the moment. I'm in the process of pulling the engine.
There will be a rebuild video coming of this 570.
9:45 is this a Polaris specific tool to pull that gear? I am looking to do this on my engine.
Why this Polaris Sportsman 570 shut down when I switch to reverse gear?
Do you know what is all done with it like lift tires etc?

Jeez that rod bearing is toast
Wasn’t there already a video on this quad?
Yes but not the tear down.
Can I put a 850 engine in to a 2018 polaris sportsman 570
Love the stickers 😂😂
Once 1 has water ingestion an entire tear down is recommended. Throwing a piston & cylinder on it is a temporary band-aid.

Not enough engine for those tires
The portals have a gear reduction in them, so that helps.

This is why I’ll never buy a snorkeled machine. Idc how well people think they’ve sealed that snorkel there’s always mud down the intake boot.
You had this one in a different video
I know the guy who owned it originally it was sank like 10 times or better
So they snorkel the intake, but don’t think to stack the exhaust pipe? What moron doesn’t do that in case it shuts off?
That machine would be a parts machine for me. There would be no chance in hell it’s worth putting the money into
I’d rather dump 2k in to making it 100% then go dump 10-20k into a new one just to do the same thing with.
