I've never considered adding air pressure to the shocks.
I've heard it can overpressure the seals.
I think what happens is the shock naturally builds pressure due to the one-way nature of the inlet valve.
My understanding is the pressure has to be occasionally relieved to prevent overpressure. Let it out and normal motion will draw in pressure and self-regulate.

How'd it ride after? Wondering if you ended up with some extra fluid. Forks are supposed to be vertical for the measurement. Very informative video though thanks.

rode a bit firmer . I think the steering head bearing being loose was more an issue for handling when I first picked it up. Straight up and down is the best measurement , but hard to get a bike tilted that way . If you can measure almost dead centre of the fork tube the measurement is about dead on .

Hi, what's the bike lift you are using. Looks very versatile.

Thank you for the video. Well done and very helpful. Nice paint job on the plastic. Was that done with a rattle can? If so, which brand and color? Yours looks stock.

It was the original colour in 2 part automotive paint , painted with an HVLP . I could have ordered custom mixed spray cans of the same paint . I just prefer to control the thickness of the paint when spraying .

also a good plastic primer is necessary to allow the paint to flex and adhere properly. That also can come in a spray can . Any auto body supply store can mix them in cans or spray cans for you .

Do you put any air in them? I have progressive suspension and they bottom out when I sit on the bike.
