Thank you a lot. I have to start to pay attention to this because I feel lumbar problems, three days ago. I can't walk comfortable either. It's my bed's fault. I like the quality of all your videos and your style to explain the most interesting topics.
Very educational. Thank you. I have been struggling with saddle fit moving onto gravel biking from road. After 3 hrs I'm ready to be OFF that saddle....
Thanks for your comment, I hope you found some tips that are helpful for this issue :) maybe check the geometry of your gravel bike vs the road one, it might help you for the saddle fit.
I was curious.. so I ordered a Chinese "power mimic"knockoff.. and lo and behold.. the first saddle that was nice to start from the get go. Never ever had that happen to me before. I always had to tweak and adjust to get a it to pass for ride-able. But this one.. wow. Thanks!
Great video! Key really is to test the position of the saddle and the height as you ride for 15mins to check if there's back pain and saddle soreness. I also agree that you have to check your posture as to the type of rider you are most of the time when you ride i.e. slight, moderate lean. I enjoy your videos and please keep up the good work! I should have watched this video before I bought my Brooks C17 (which has the same price as this Speciliazed) and Fizik Antares Versus Evo. Oh well.
Great video, very helpful. I have always been a Brooks guy, but I recently picked up a road bike and Im looking for a comfortable ultralight saddle. Love your channel.
My favourite would be the microfibre / colour versions of the SMP Plus. The black version (leather) - less so, for the leather is very sticky (as opposed to microfibre) and tends to irritate the skin quite after a while, especially in hot weather. No wonder the microfibre versions, apart form being trickier to find, are so expensive. I've had about 30 different saddles over the years, and none compares to the Selle SMP Plus colour. The one saddle I haven't used that I am somewhat intrigued by - is the Specialized Power (especially, the 3D-printed model), but I would be surprised to learn it compares to the SMP Plus colour.
Many thanks for your comment :) I actually looked into the SMP Plus saddle but decided to go for the Specialized power mimic expert at the end, but I see many people use it, especially for long-distance cycling. Also checked the Specialized Power 3D-printed for my new bike but decided not to buy it because is 30g heavier than the Power mimic expert and 200 euros more expensive ^^

Good video. I've just bought a Brooks B17 narrow for my road bike and in the process of breaking it in .So far so good
Nice one! I love how these saddles look like, I was considering one for my commuting bike :)
You cant go wrong with The B17, I rode about 1500 miles before mine was really comfortable.
Oh my god your long hair is gorgeus
