Glad your back. My go to for Hunt:Showdown content. Could it be possible to do a multiple series of videos of weapons optional range to kill a hunter? I get a lot of randoms who will try use a Winchester as a sniper or hip fire a shotgun where the pellets would most likely miss.

FINALLY a new video Thank you so much. A video on bullet penetration would be nice as I'm not entirely sure exactly what materials each of the bullets can pierce.

I can answer this a bit. We’re gonna assume no special ammo for this, tho I will go into FMJ at the end. All bullets can penetrate thin pieces of wood, like building walls and fences. The difference between medium and compact ammo is that medium can go through more wooden walls (say up four instead of two, or something like that, have never tested numbers), some of the thicker wooden objects like support beams, and will retain its penetration capabilities for longer. Long ammo will go through everything but concrete and very thick trees, and notably can pen the thin metal sheets that are everywhere, which compact and medium ammo both cannot do. Nitro is capable of going through nearly everything provided you are close enough, even concrete walls.
The major complication and why pen feels inconsistent sometimes is that there is a distance where penetration capabilities begin to fall off, and this is not listed in the stats anywhere in the game. If you cannot shoot through something your ammo type should be able to shoot through the problem is you’re too far away.
Now I’ll briefly talk about FMJ. FMJ is essentially very slightly better long ammo in terms of penetration regardless of size, and the difference between the sizes of FMJ is how long it will retain its excellent penetration capabilities for, with compact being the shortest ranged.
