@@JohnDoe-sw1rs King Kylie is right. Take the British isles for example. Christian on the surface for a very very long time, but if you look only a little beneath the surface echoes of paganism is found throughout the British isles! Its ingrained and it runs deep. To be fair christianity is just a mixture of world paganism and astrology. The story of jesus is astrology not literal history. Hung on a cross? Well, that's pure human sacrifice which predates christianity. Also krishna, buddha, Horus, mithra and more were all born to virgin mothers were sacrificed and rose on the third day and all before the story of jesus. It's well known that in ancient Rome christianity was nothing more than a small cult that nobody played any attention to. It was military might that made it spread just like Islam technically spread through military might (convert or die...That was the choice in the old world...1000s of years later we are mostly now only Christians because our parents and their parents were going back to the times when our ancestors were conquered). Christianity is technically the religion of serfs and slaves. Pagan lore is for the wild and free (just like the natural world it's based on)...

My Lolo always tells me about the big Dalakit tree near our home where engkanto(fairies) and such have their gatherings before electricity had been brought to our place. Those people living at the opposite direction of the tree from afar often asked why the tree glows every night when in fact there is no electricity because of our home is atop the mountain. The people living in the tree's neighborhood haven't even noticed the light because they're near. It happened many years ago, yet the Dalakit tree stood still. This right here! It's not that hard to make new shows and movies exploring different corner of the world without the need to change the established stories and characters. Big company executives need to stop being closeminded and be opened to taking risk in investing original new IP for more original contents, at some point people will get tired of seeing the same live action reboot/remake but with different skin/genders.

Whether African, Filipino, Indian, Native American or Pagan European, be proud of your native lore and pay attention to everyone elses.
