    Highly recommended video from the 737 technical channel if you want to dive into the systems even deeper. From 1:14:13 he dives into the aux fuel system on the BBJs (which is slightly different than that of the 900ER since there is no aux fuel panel in the cockpit in the 900ER) with a lot of excellent explanations and pictures:

    I'm so confused, the B737-600 (7 hours + 10% for emergency landing) can fly an hour longer than the B737-900ER (6 hours with aux). 🤔

    Hi Emanuel, another great video. I was wondering if you had any recommendations for takeoff and landing performance computation for the 900 since the closest tool we have is VPT for the 800? I was simply going to plug the values into the 800 tool and only use a derate in order to have same margin.

    This was great! Thanks very much! Can you do another video describing other differences between the 800/700 and 900? I see people complaining it's a copy/paste job beyond the external model.

      Leave the technicalities to the experts, there’s too much to study in aviation and ‘people’ don’t read.

    Hi Emi! Thanks for the video… are you aware if -900ER operators had uninstalled the aux tanks? DL for instance has cancelled the Type II doors, due to the cabin configuration. Could it be for the aux tanks as well?? Thanks!!

      Delta does at least not seem to have aux tanks installed right now. Not sure if they had removed them.

    I tried the aux fuel system in my BBJ2 and it seems something is wrong with the weight calculations. If I install all the tanks, the fuel in the aux tanks are not reflected in GW during calculations. Any fuel I add above the default maximum doesn't change the plane's GW. Is this a bug or I misunderstood something? Is this the same in 900?

      Strange, first time I hear this. When I tested the BBJs back in the day they surely showed different behavior. I'd recommend to open a support ticket, I'm sure PMDGs support can help you to solve this - or issue an update should a bug have found its way into the plane.
