- Porcupine Tree - Dot Three
Recorded 19 November 2005 at Live Music Hall, Cologne, Germany.
Steven Wilson - vocals, guitar
Colin Edwin - bass guitar
Richard Barbieri - synthesizers
Gavin Harrison - drums
John Wesley - guitar, backing vocals
This song was ommited from the original broadcast but included on the audio dowload album.
Originally it was the instrumental middle part of "Strip the Soul", before they transferred it into a stand-alone song. It combines the dreamy Ambient-Sound from the "Signify"-Era with the heavyness of "In Absentia". Fantastic Song!!
My favorite song from Porcupine Tree
The final part of the song kills me every single time.
Another Wonderful PT Song!
Especially Live…
Stumbled upon this recently... always thought .3 was a killer track on the album, but WOW... this live version is on repeat all day. Colin's bass line... Gavin's timing... the guitars by John and Steven... combined with the ambient sounds from Richard. It is all just too good
🙂🙂
One of my favourite PT songs (along with many others), absolutely brilliant. Thanks
So underrated

@@4ctmamAnd unfortunately he's no longer in the band. Damn, I miss him and Colin so much! 😢
Around 4:00 it gets real
oh yes...
To jedna z perełek PT które brzmią lepiej w wersji studyjnej..wybaczcie błądzę.
Does anyone know what the small lyrics are about?
Nuclear war, or war in general. The skies would be darkened by arrows or missiles as they lay a waste to cities/armies of either side of the conflict.
@@wonga72 Is this your take or did Wilson actually mention this somewhere? Thanks.
@jeanlundi2141 oh sorry. steven never officially said what it's about. Just what I've heard others get to online :) sounds right to me
"Black the sky, weapons fly
Lay them waste for your race"
