If you have button start, you can recreate this by pushing the ignition once without your foot on accelerator.
He forgot the BEST PART! You can't pick green because once your RPMs get high enough to not be economic the colour will change. I know this is how the manuals work. So unless this is a first year base model HRV in North America I doubt its manual. (Worked at Honda when these came out)

You can do this by unlocking the car with your remote and then pressing the stick (as shown in this short clip) to cycle through th colours. No need to insert the key.
I plan to get a new FWD Urban Grey Pearl HR-V Sport, but I would not mind having an Aegean Blue Metallic previous HR-V Sport in good condition for a second car. There's a few around here, and they look really nice in that color.

Push button with foot off the accelerate
Push the 'push start' button twice without pressing the brake padel will go to accessaries mode, which is equavalent to key switch on/accessaries without starting the engine

If 90% of Honda owners don’t know all about the displays than Honda is killing off their own future business. 90% ? Something is wrong here with the display designers. I hate my Honda and will never buy another Honda. It’s not us folks.
I agree, Donna. The sales rep I got was a dufus 🤷🏻♂️, at best. Walking in the building, I’m pretty sure I knew more about the hrv I wanted than he could’ve studied in 2 weeks from the manual and all I did was somewhat “research” a little bit beforehand. I still like my car, but will NOT buy another Honda again in my lifetime bc all 3 dealerships around me within a 50 mile radius have extremely low reviews and the one I chose has since become completely unethical in their service department since my warranties ran out. Never, ever again and I highly advise anyone asking me about a Honda to pass it up like the plague.
