@Emily Skade you guys are the worst. This literally mirrors how some people empathise more wwith killers than their victims. Even when the show spells it out to you, you still find some way to dismiss and empathise with Joe. He isnt some misunderstood person. Hes a serial killer; plain and simple. Hes never gonna change. The best end for him should be a gruesome death but that would even be too easy
I’ve always had this feeling that in season one, he was already a serial killer. I’ve also had this feeling that he may have done something to his mother, she abandoned him and started a new family. But knowing joe, he doesn’t let go of things. They don’t really mention his mother after it’s shown she started a new family. Maybe that’s just me
I have two theories on what could have happened to his mother: 1. Joe stalks her and ends up killing her in a fit of rage when they argue on why she abandoned him. 2. Joe stalks his mom and sees her falling into the same old pattern with her second husband- he abuses her emotionally and physically. Finally when Joe comes back to her he finds her dead at the hands of her second husband- this is what finally pushes Joe off the edge and starts his serial killer mindset. He has to "save" women from themselves or else they end up like his mom did.
It makes you wonder how much he did prior to the start of the show. We saw he pushed the guy off the room, thought he killed Candace, etc. In his mental state he forgot about Marianne, could he have done the same with a different murder and forgotten it completely and blocked it out
He never said he loved Kate. He said he loves YOU. Thats his tell he will find another woman. Also he didn't go get his son so he lost it. Killed a kid... no remorse when he used to take care of Paco and Ellie
Every time people predict what will happen in the next season of You, they always say "I think we'll get to see Joe's mother in this season". There will most definitely be a season 5 and whichever season is the final season, yes. We will then finally get to see his mother. But, gosh. This all started at the end of season 2. "I think the neighbor he's spying on at the end of season 2 is his mother! She looks much older based on her skin!" Trailer for season 4 comes out and every prediction: "he'll run into his mother in London!". End of part 1 of season 4, "I think the paparazzi lady is Joe's mother!" I digress. But, yeah. The writers did kind of make it easy to predict once they showed Joe's alive on television and interviews. All of his victims who are still alive and not in prison, as pointed out in this video, will definitely come for him. I don't think Marienne, though. She'd rather he believe she's dead. She made that very clear. Unless there's some sort of trial - I think that'd be the only way she'd show her face and testify against him.
I really hope that we see characters from previous seasons returning, I was hyped when I saw Beck and Love coming back during that hallucination scene!

Yes but they heard Love talking about killing Natalie, Joe did take part in the fight following that, but when they woke up in the cage it was Love who was dealing with them. From their perspective, Love looked like the batshit one, so it's plausible they could believe Joe to be an unwilling participant in Love's batshittery. Be interesting to find out. I hope they are in S5 they are two of my fave characters lol they start off very annoying but their time in the cage showed us, the audience, their humanity.
I have a theory. In season one, Dr Nicky said that there’s two Joe Goldbergs . Meaning, that Joe’s mental state was slowly deteriorating from the very beginning of the show.
I think season 5 could be the last, and if thats the case it would mean joe would finally get his recompense. A good idea of how this would play out is where joe gets taken to court and then all his past victims that are still alive from previous seasons come together to take him down. The therapist that was framed for becks murder, Ellie, theo, cary and sherry and now nadia and marianne. Imagine joes reaction if the final person to deliver the final blow was marianne somone he believes to be still dead.
Remember Candace trying the same? She still ended up dead. But I'm truly rooting for Maryanne as well, she's much smarter and calculating. She is the only victim we got to hear her perspectives and thoughts of Joe. So, Joe needs to be stopped. But how? Really hope Maryanne will be the one to answer that
Also Karen. Karen knew who Joe was. She even warned Beck. I’m sure she heard Beck died. And she’s smart, she’s probably followed Joe life and all the people that die around him mysteriously. I hope she’s working behind the scenes and takes him down in the end.
I think in season 5 we will see people coming after Joe. From season 1 we have 3 people; Peach's family and their detective didn't believe she unalived herself , they might still be searching for answers. Paco might grow up and question what happened to Beck Karen was already suspicious she just chose to stay out of it but who knows she can change her mind From season 2 we have the fraud guy who went to Phillipines and we also have Ellie. From season 3 we have Theo, Love's family, the cage couple Sherry&Cary And finally from 4th season we have Marienne and Nadia that know about Joe's crimes Now that he is rich and a public figure with interviews and such, the piled up people he left behind must come across him on the internet etc. and some might decide it's justice time. And he'll use all the money, connections and media power he has to clean them off. I really wonder who will take him down at the end.
im pretty sure Beck still has 2 friends from season 1 that is still alive as well. Also Joes old book shop worker that he had in Season 1 can make an appearance cause I think before Joe left for Cali in season 2 he gave the rights to the bookstore to his friend that also worked there
What if in S5 Joe's mum comes back and because of Joe's childhood trauma of being abandoned he puts her in a cage in the basement of his new book shop, whilst old characters who he's wronged start coming after him, which becomes harder and harder for Kate and her resources to hide, which in turn creates rifts in their relationship because neither one of them are there to keep the other one grounded. In the interview in the last episode Joe says that he hasn't proposed because he hasn't had the opportunity because Kate is always busy, what if they spend less and less time together and they start becoming the very people who they promised to not allow each other to become. I think that it would be a truly amazing end if it's Kate, the woman who saw Joe and loved him is the one who kills him because he becomes a threat to her business with his spiraling behaviour and his enemies from his past. Either way I think that the only way You can end is with Joe dead by the person who he loves the most and the person who loves him the most

That's what I'm assuming, too, if season 5 happens I think it's gonna be way darker than the previous ones, Joe has accepted himself to be a serial killer and now he can legit get away with it

One of the producers in 2019 said they wanted to make a season of YOU with a plot similar to the trinity killer of dexter season 4, I think that's what gonna happen in sesson 5, Joe is gonna kill alot of innocent people, particularly women, and he's not afraid anymore because he can get away with anything
- I think Joe's going to lose interest in Kate for the same reason the audience did. He'll fall in love with an employee at her company and begin an affair. - I hope Nadia returns in some capacity. Her story can't end like this. I think Joe's comments to her may hint that he'll break her out of prison and use her as a pawn in whatever schemes he has. I also think Marienne is going to try to free Nadia or at least talk to her in prison. - I also hope Phoebe will return, though it's the least likely. I really love her adoration of Joe and it'll be great for them to have more interactions. - Death won''t be enough for Joe. I hope that every crime he committed will be exposed in the end and Dr Nicky, Ellie, Dawn, Hugo and Nadia will be exonerated of his crimes.
As far as they know it was the fault of love Quinn, they never saw Joe Goldberg in the basement of the bakery. As far as they know it is all Loves fault. Especially considering the end when Joe says “They quickly used there blog to discredit Love Quinn”. Joe not being mentioned once suggests they entirely blame Love.

Joe pretended to be Love's victim. His whole past was erased with Kate's money. Many people believed in his story. Paco won't do anything against Joe because he saved him from his stepfather and he didn't help Beck when she was locked up. Ellie was accepting Joe's money and she knows it's because of the family. Quinn that her sister is dead. The Conrads won't do anything because they heard Love confess Nathalie's death and Joe never came to see them when they were locked in the cage, it was always Love. concerning Marienne, one way or another Joe will know that she is alive. To ease his conscience he will certainly want to take care of Marienne's daughter financially and will discover that she is not with her grandmother , and it is from there that he will begin to do his research. Marienne remains Joe's weak point. Regarding Nadia, a situation will arise, and I think Joe will eventually get her out of prison. as for his relationship with Kate, we all know that it won't last, knowing that Kate's father warned Joe about his daughter, as Dottie had warned him about Love. one way or another, it will end badly just like his relationship with Love. I think there will be a potential return of his mother and his brother
I think if they had plans to end it for sure they would’ve killed Joe. But since it ended the way it did it left it open to go either way. Although I’m not completely satisfied if this were the ending to the series. I hope there’s at least one season left with Marienne possibly getting revenge and killing Joe herself.
She’s not going to kill Joe and she’s not going to put herself at risk. I think she may come out if he’s on trial. Otherwise, she isn’t going to risk herself
No... Absolutely not. If Marienne were to be the one that put Joe down, it needs to be her REFUSING to kill him. Marienne needs to make sure Joe gets locked away beyond any shadow of a doubt if she's going to be the one that ends the Goldberg saga. If not, let Joe just straight up die. But if Marienne is the end-maker, it needs to be her getting him locked up and not put down.
It might be unlikely but since Joe has all the power and resources now, plus Kate to back her up (seemingly unconditional, at least for now), maybe he will go on a killing spree and try to tie up his loose ends, like killing Dr Nicki, Love's father, or even Paco/Ellie (I know Joe doesnt hurt children but the last episode with him killing Nadia's boyfriend, I am not too sure anymore. I know he is not a child, but still) Because in the public eyes, they know Joe is Love's victim, but I doubt they know anything about Beck, Candice or other stuff that he did. Who knows, maybe Kate knows about them and support him to go on a killing spree
I don't know if Kate knows the full truth; she may just know about him killing Love in self-defence. But I think he would kill Paco and Ellie if pushed to it, though they may be adults at this point.
Honestly, I really hope we get to see Paco again. What happened to Beck likely traumatized the hell out of him, so I would love to see Joe confront the emotional damage his actions caused Paco. Although then again, given how this season ends, Joe maybe wouldn’t even care at this point.

he mentioned sending money to ellie at the start of s3. i’m also wondering if joe really told kate everything about his past. penn answered a question about this on his podcast and said he didn’t think he would tell everything, instead that he would tell the truth while avoiding as much as possible and only mentioning things if kate asked him directly, which is interesting. i wonder what the writers will decide

In my opinion in order to make this show even better is to bring back Ellie to be the demise of Joe’s downfall. I agree with you completely that we can see some past characters again like ellie, paco, will Bethlehem(the one who gave his identity) may be he will demand some money not sure about it also dr nicky ,Nadia will also make an appearance ( or may be marrieane will come for nadia may be not but I would like to see the past of joe like how he killed beck and want to see his half brother, mother, son may be season 5 will be full of surprises. Part 1 of this season was horrible, but part 2 was much better. I think they should make season 5 the final season, with his half brother coming in and everyone he's hurt getting revenge, maybe in a trial or even a if they lock him in the cage.
It has to be Joe's downfall in the end, if it's going to be some kind of a trial then those who remain alive like Marienne and Nadia has to be there, and those who died like Love and Beck or Candace could come back again in a form of a flashback; if it's going to be straight off death of Joe then it has to be brutal and ruthless....
***My Prediction for season 5*** In season 1 you saw Peach's Investigator looking into Joe so I think he could very well make a return now that Joe's back in New York, also there is that jar of Joe's urine at Peach's house where he killed her so that could come back to bite him. His son definitely could make an appearance also, Dr.Nicky too. I hope the next season is more intense and contain more twists/turns
Unless a phenomenal character like love quinn really exists, everything is empty and out of place... Even the fact that they put love as bait in the part 2 trailer reveals everything clearly.. We can count tons of reasons for love quinn to be alive. .. Especially in the 4th season of the revenge series, even the fake suicide plot that victoria grayson created for herself is simply similar to the scene where Love is shown dead... and how love can be saved can even be explained with the fiction there...love against any possibility. There were a lot of moves she could make sure of when she was creating the plan. the moment of explosion was just the moment of explosion of the stove and then we saw a quick transition and the whole house was on fire... There is no reason for a woman whose family, especially her father, is almost as hands-on as the deep state, reaching out to everything from cops to detectives, to act so stupidly in front of someone like Joe. ..(she learned almost every truth about him down to the details, we saw it in the second season finale.)
Marianne was boring from the start and didn't get any more interesting either. Glad she made it back to her daughter and I hope she stays "dead" to stay with her kid.

I feel like now that Joe has re-announced that he is alive to the rest of the world. The Quinn family is going to come after him and it will also put Henry in the mix somehow and he'll have to either protect or run from Henry again

Nadia, Ellie and Marienne (and possibly other prominent characters he’s wronged) coming together to expose him. New obsession is the lawyer that is against him. People he has done right by like Phoebe and Paco perhaps coming to his aid and defending him. Joe only using Kate to keep his own public image positive, having no actual romantic interest in her. Midway through the season Joe gets mentally dissected he starts seeing Rhys again. My theories (this before the video starts hahah) Intentionally not theorising and ending so I’m always on my toes.
I think his relationship with Kate will be different. Because unlike love, they won’t fuel each other’s bad side, and unlike all the other girls, she truly knows who he is and but wants to help him be good while he helps her. Also, this love interest didn’t follow the same obsessive pattern we’re so used to.
We are not getting then season 5, show is about a stalker, murderer, sick man doing thing until his own end (meaning jail or being dead, there is no happy ending for him).... He is not going to stop, he will get bored with Kate. Stalkers, serial murders and people that are obsessive do not change patterns.
Please stop with this narrative. The show has consistently spelt it out to you. Season 4 even more so that Joe is not some misunderstood character. He is a serial killer who enjoys these murders. He is so established as a serial killer he even has his modus operandi or pattern of murders(which we have seen from season 1). Joe is incapable of love. He simply loves the idea of love. If you actually read or listened to stories of serial killers, Joe fits the bill quite easily so it is very disturbing that despite the list of victims he keeps growing, you somehow find ways to support his character

i hope season 5 he actually stays loyal to kate and shows how their relationship builds and at the end of the season they find some evidence or something that can put joe away and season 6 is the downfall of him losing everything and finally living up to the consequences of his own actions even if it means death or jail.
If there's a season five, I think the people he's had sent to prison won't be returning as it's too soon to be released. Maybe by the end of the season they will be exonerated but I don't think so. It's more heartbreaking thinking they are still in there and innocent. Marienne won't come back because she would prefer to stay with her daughter than risk it trying to put Joe behind bars. I think the only plausible return would be Ellie, older and looking for closure. Joe may end up being faithful to Kate, but will end up killing more people while Kate is busy with work. I believe Joe really does love Kate with the way he could only think of her when he was dying and choosing to be honest with her after he survived. I imagine after protecting Joe for awhile, Kate's conscience will eventually win out and she will end up taking her own life, leaving Joe with her fortune. I think it would be great to see him admit to his past, but I don't think they would end it in a trial and conviction because it's too obvious.
Though it was said by the creators that jenna ortega wa originally planned to be part of season 4 before the wednesday scheduling conflicts I don't think she is gonna be in the show for next season. SImply because post wednesday her pay roll is something that the show simply can't afford anymore.
I think Ellie was supposed to be the one investigating Joe instead of Nadia this season. She hates and is suspicious of Joe, so she'll have more reason to break into his apartment. She may refuse to call the police to avoid her own arrest either due to illegally being in London or Henderson's murder. And there's a bit more of an impact with Joe betraying her; maybe he even tells her that he killed Delilah to rub salt in the wound.
There is no plausible explanation anyone could ever tell me that would convince me that this ending could've actually happened. I just have so many issues with the unbreakable plot armor joe has been accumulating progressively as each season goes on. Surely one detective out there would at least be able to put together that joe was closely involved in the crimes, deaths and disappearances of candace, beck, love, malcom, simon, gemma, delilah, forty, peach, rhys, nadia and paco; has the show also forgotten that sherry and cary are still alive and were attacked by him (and love)? A sloppy "i made my helpless husband do it" in a suicide note doesn't change the fact he was complicit in kidnapping them. Theo also saw on the cameras that he put natalie's body in the car. A ferret could put that all together and make a solid case against him oh but since he's left those places and has big fancy lawyers who can clean any name offscreen he's fine.
Yeah. However, though he was closely related with all those people that died, no body else has enough proof Against Joe. And those who were framed are currently facing jail term or dead( The evidence of their motives clearly added up...Thanks to Joe). Yeah, Joe was complicit in Sheri and Cary's kidnap. But I remember them being stupid self-centered Twats. In all their Cage scenes, they only interacted with Love. Their pea brains must have found it easier to believe that Love is the true Monster...and make money out of it. Yess...Theo did see the footage of Joe putting Natalie's body in a bag. Unlike Sheri and Cari, Theo and his dad aren't as half-witted and self-centered as them. They are smart enough to put two and two together. BUT They're also smart enough not to File any Case, Coz Joe is now A Psychopathic Billionaire who can get away with almost anything now( Not like he couldn't do it before...but now Joe doesn't just have the brains, He also has the means!!!)....So Theo and his Dad found it best to shit up and shut up. That's my best guess. Also, remember that it is Love who attempted to kill Theo. And it is Joe who took Theo to the hospital. That sloppy *"I made my husband do it"* excuse, is now incredibly plausible to Theo and his dad...and to the entire community of Madre Linda who heard Both their story, and Sheri's. That was my personal explanation that made me patch up those plot holes...I had to let my brain rest. Hopefully now you can too🤔

The show used to have some weight of reality to it, which made everything he did matter to the story. Now it's basically science fiction. The only way for it to have a satisfying ending would be if he met his demise and actually get punished for his behavior. If it's not going to happen, it's just gonna be another Dexter..

That Elliot guy just hands out to him a new identity, and we're supposed to accept it as anything but lazy writing?

The mannerisms, at the end of episode 10 show that the Reese complex is the one in control rather than “Joe”. At least that’s what I think. That would explain why he was so cold at the end.

Joe should've went to prison and written a book about his life and all that he did. Then he'd get out 20 years later, become famous and gain a crazy following, get a deal from Netflix to turn his book into a show. His mom and half-brother show up and try to play him for his money. So many things didn't make sense about this season. 1.Joe being in cahoots with Kate's dad to kill Rhys. Him knowing Joe's real identity and what he's capable of but also not taking any type of precaution around him. Allowing him to continue being around and dating his daughter/heir. 2. Nadia and Marienne not calling the police. I know they have to further the plot, but the reasoning was nonsense. She was adamant about getting back to her daughter all of this time, but when the opportunity presented itself, she decided to stay in the cage. There's no way Joe could've talked himself out of that, and she could've killed Joe if she thought she needed to. She already said that she would. 3. The photographer storyline. What was the point of that? Phoebe and Adam's storyline? Maybe I'm missing a theme or message here. Someone let me know if I am, but I think this was useless filler. I think they were likening Joe's obsession with Rhys to Dawn's obsession with Phoebe, but was it necessary to spend so much time on this just for it not to be mentioned much thereafter? So many loose ends and plot holes.
If you watch season 1 you can almost see Ryse (dark passenger) switch without hesitation. When Benji showed up, personality switch.When Beck was found cheating, switch up. Later seasons show that joe try's to change into a better man but he slowly deteriorates. He was more focused when he was working with his dark passenger in S1. Now he has the resources, he can work with his dark side with ease.
I felt like this was a great season, I wouldn't mind it if it ended here. If there comes another season, a backstory would be nice. I hate that the show frequently forgets about past characters

When Rhys said WE put Marianne in a cage, I was like no TF you are not going crazy Joe. And indeed he’s long past going crazy. Full fledged mental patient.
feel like the series should just end the way it is. Will be refreshing to have a "good ending" for a bad guy as the main character. We dont always need a cliche bad guy ended up in jail kind of ending. After all, it's just a series...
In the book I forgot what joe does that causes love to snitch him out and put him in jail. I feel like kate will likely do the same to him and well see him finally go to prison at the end of the show
with jenna ortegas sucess netflix is for sure gonna try and bring her character back in the next season. thinking about company's greed, idk if the story will progress in a satisfying way, or if the seaons will drag for so long that the show just becomes a mess.
The season should start off with Ellie traveling to New York and reuniting with Joe after reading about him and Love. The entire first episode is about them reconnecting and by the end of it, two things happen. Ellie starts to get suspicious of Joe after catching him in a lie or finding out something incriminating which leads to her investigating all of the events that have surrounded him for the past four season. The second thing is just Joe watching Ellie hanging out with Kate and starts referring to her as “You”, making her the new source of his obsession. It sounds creepy and weird but it’s also Joe who we’re talking about and with this being the final season, it’s time to start fully portraying him as an unsympathetic evil psychopath that he is. Worse than he was in season 1.
Season 4 we saw the joe we have been waiting for. The story of him killing someone "by accident"or for love,and the writers giving him excuses to make him likeable got old fast. In the last season he became a stone cold,ruthless serial killer..I think if they had him as a vilain from the start,the show would have been an even bigger sucess. NOW MY GUESS FOR S5: Since many people know who he is (nedia,marianne,the cop from the 1rst season,) I think he will start killing everybody that tries to reveal his identity
Overall I wasn’t crazy about S4 but, the way it has everything set up for one last season is really interesting to me. And I really hope they finish on S5.
I don't understand why when Marienne was in the cage and begging him to let her out he said "I'm not joe" with a creepy smile...can anyone help me figure out what he meant or whats going on in his mind? He had never smiled like that before and it was so weird. It seemed so out of character compared to other seasons.
It was 'Rhys' but actually Joe's evil side, fractured/seperated off, which he projected on to the real Rhys he was becoming increasingly obsessed with. The Rhys of his imagination was doing all the killing and had kidnapped Marienne. That's why he knew were the key was, had Marienne's passport and knew the location of the glass prison. But really that Rhys we were seeing was Joe's imagination.
Hear me out, longer season 20 eps tying, loosen up such as Ellie, Paco, Henry, Dr. Nicky, The Conrad’s, and also Theo and his dad. I also think the show should end with Joe killing himself, or Kate putting him down like a mad dog.
there’s so many possible endings to the culmination of the show it’s crazy. Paco, Quinn family revenge, Lockwood family revenge, ellie revenge, Nadia, etc etc. so many possible endings
Season 4 was best of all them. I mean I loved the plot and Joe actually looks like a Jonathan Moore with his new beard. His beard represents the change in his sanity. Season 4 also has a great ending where the soundtrack matched joes true self. Joe looked scary for once, it gave me chills and I think season 4 is well done
I thought season 4 was the last season. Season 4 was not that good. It felt like a whole nother show. Which I kind of get bc what more could they do w the story line? I wonder what season 5 will be like. The only interesting thing I can imagine happening rn is Joe getting caught.

Even when the show spells it out to you, you still find some way to dismiss and empathise with Joe. He isnt some misunderstood person. Hes a serial killer; plain and simple. Hes never gonna change. The best end for him should be a gruesome death but that would even be too easy

I’ve always had this feeling that in season one, he was already a serial killer. I’ve also had this feeling that he may have done something to his mother, she abandoned him and started a new family. But knowing joe, he doesn’t let go of things. They don’t really mention his mother after it’s shown she started a new family. Maybe that’s just me
I have two theories on what could have happened to his mother:
1. Joe stalks her and ends up killing her in a fit of rage when they argue on why she abandoned him.
2. Joe stalks his mom and sees her falling into the same old pattern with her second husband- he abuses her emotionally and physically. Finally when Joe comes back to her he finds her dead at the hands of her second husband- this is what finally pushes Joe off the edge and starts his serial killer mindset. He has to "save" women from themselves or else they end up like his mom did.
It makes you wonder how much he did prior to the start of the show. We saw he pushed the guy off the room, thought he killed Candace, etc. In his mental state he forgot about Marianne, could he have done the same with a different murder and forgotten it completely and blocked it out

Every time people predict what will happen in the next season of You, they always say "I think we'll get to see Joe's mother in this season". There will most definitely be a season 5 and whichever season is the final season, yes. We will then finally get to see his mother. But, gosh. This all started at the end of season 2. "I think the neighbor he's spying on at the end of season 2 is his mother! She looks much older based on her skin!" Trailer for season 4 comes out and every prediction: "he'll run into his mother in London!". End of part 1 of season 4, "I think the paparazzi lady is Joe's mother!" I digress. But, yeah. The writers did kind of make it easy to predict once they showed Joe's alive on television and interviews. All of his victims who are still alive and not in prison, as pointed out in this video, will definitely come for him. I don't think Marienne, though. She'd rather he believe she's dead. She made that very clear. Unless there's some sort of trial - I think that'd be the only way she'd show her face and testify against him.

Yes but they heard Love talking about killing Natalie, Joe did take part in the fight following that, but when they woke up in the cage it was Love who was dealing with them. From their perspective, Love looked like the batshit one, so it's plausible they could believe Joe to be an unwilling participant in Love's batshittery. Be interesting to find out. I hope they are in S5 they are two of my fave characters lol they start off very annoying but their time in the cage showed us, the audience, their humanity.

I think season 5 could be the last, and if thats the case it would mean joe would finally get his recompense. A good idea of how this would play out is where joe gets taken to court and then all his past victims that are still alive from previous seasons come together to take him down. The therapist that was framed for becks murder, Ellie, theo, cary and sherry and now nadia and marianne. Imagine joes reaction if the final person to deliver the final blow was marianne somone he believes to be still dead.
Remember Candace trying the same? She still ended up dead. But I'm truly rooting for Maryanne as well, she's much smarter and calculating. She is the only victim we got to hear her perspectives and thoughts of Joe. So, Joe needs to be stopped. But how? Really hope Maryanne will be the one to answer that

Now that he is rich and a public figure with interviews and such, the piled up people he left behind must come across him on the internet etc. and some might decide it's justice time. And he'll use all the money, connections and media power he has to clean them off. I really wonder who will take him down at the end.

What if in S5 Joe's mum comes back and because of Joe's childhood trauma of being abandoned he puts her in a cage in the basement of his new book shop, whilst old characters who he's wronged start coming after him, which becomes harder and harder for Kate and her resources to hide, which in turn creates rifts in their relationship because neither one of them are there to keep the other one grounded. In the interview in the last episode Joe says that he hasn't proposed because he hasn't had the opportunity because Kate is always busy, what if they spend less and less time together and they start becoming the very people who they promised to not allow each other to become. I think that it would be a truly amazing end if it's Kate, the woman who saw Joe and loved him is the one who kills him because he becomes a threat to her business with his spiraling behaviour and his enemies from his past. Either way I think that the only way You can end is with Joe dead by the person who he loves the most and the person who loves him the most

- I think Joe's going to lose interest in Kate for the same reason the audience did. He'll fall in love with an employee at her company and begin an affair.
- I hope Nadia returns in some capacity. Her story can't end like this. I think Joe's comments to her may hint that he'll break her out of prison and use her as a pawn in whatever schemes he has. I also think Marienne is going to try to free Nadia or at least talk to her in prison.
- I also hope Phoebe will return, though it's the least likely. I really love her adoration of Joe and it'll be great for them to have more interactions.
- Death won''t be enough for Joe. I hope that every crime he committed will be exposed in the end and Dr Nicky, Ellie, Dawn, Hugo and Nadia will be exonerated of his crimes.

It's just a set up for his demise in Season 5
Joe pretended to be Love's victim. His whole past was erased with Kate's money. Many people believed in his story. Paco won't do anything against Joe because he saved him from his stepfather and he didn't help Beck when she was locked up. Ellie was accepting Joe's money and she knows it's because of the family. Quinn that her sister is dead. The Conrads won't do anything because they heard Love confess Nathalie's death and Joe never came to see them when they were locked in the cage, it was always Love. concerning Marienne, one way or another Joe will know that she is alive. To ease his conscience he will certainly want to take care of Marienne's daughter financially and will discover that she is not with her grandmother , and it is from there that he will begin to do his research. Marienne remains Joe's weak point. Regarding Nadia, a situation will arise, and I think Joe will eventually get her out of prison. as for his relationship with Kate, we all know that it won't last, knowing that Kate's father warned Joe about his daughter, as Dottie had warned him about Love. one way or another, it will end badly just like his relationship with Love. I think there will be a potential return of his mother and his brother
I think if they had plans to end it for sure they would’ve killed Joe. But since it ended the way it did it left it open to go either way. Although I’m not completely satisfied if this were the ending to the series. I hope there’s at least one season left with Marienne possibly getting revenge and killing Joe herself.

No... Absolutely not. If Marienne were to be the one that put Joe down, it needs to be her REFUSING to kill him. Marienne needs to make sure Joe gets locked away beyond any shadow of a doubt if she's going to be the one that ends the Goldberg saga. If not, let Joe just straight up die. But if Marienne is the end-maker, it needs to be her getting him locked up and not put down.

It might be unlikely but since Joe has all the power and resources now, plus Kate to back her up (seemingly unconditional, at least for now), maybe he will go on a killing spree and try to tie up his loose ends, like killing Dr Nicki, Love's father, or even Paco/Ellie (I know Joe doesnt hurt children but the last episode with him killing Nadia's boyfriend, I am not too sure anymore. I know he is not a child, but still) Because in the public eyes, they know Joe is Love's victim, but I doubt they know anything about Beck, Candice or other stuff that he did. Who knows, maybe Kate knows about them and support him to go on a killing spree
I don't know if Kate knows the full truth; she may just know about him killing Love in self-defence. But I think he would kill Paco and Ellie if pushed to it, though they may be adults at this point.
Honestly, I really hope we get to see Paco again. What happened to Beck likely traumatized the hell out of him, so I would love to see Joe confront the emotional damage his actions caused Paco. Although then again, given how this season ends, Joe maybe wouldn’t even care at this point.

Part 1 of this season was horrible, but part 2 was much better. I think they should make season 5 the final season, with his half brother coming in and everyone he's hurt getting revenge, maybe in a trial or even a if they lock him in the cage.

It has to be Joe's downfall in the end, if it's going to be some kind of a trial then those who remain alive like Marienne and Nadia has to be there, and those who died like Love and Beck or Candace could come back again in a form of a flashback; if it's going to be straight off death of Joe then it has to be brutal and ruthless....
One thing that is needed to be known *Marianne is STILL ALIVE* - I think this is biggest season 5 base. 🤷🏻♀️
***My Prediction for season 5***
In season 1 you saw Peach's Investigator looking into Joe so I think he could very well make a return now that Joe's back in New York, also there is that jar of Joe's urine at Peach's house where he killed her so that could come back to bite him. His son definitely could make an appearance also, Dr.Nicky too. I hope the next season is more intense and contain more twists/turns

Unless a phenomenal character like love quinn really exists, everything is empty and out of place... Even the fact that they put love as bait in the part 2 trailer reveals everything clearly.. We can count tons of reasons for love quinn to be alive. .. Especially in the 4th season of the revenge series, even the fake suicide plot that victoria grayson created for herself is simply similar to the scene where Love is shown dead... and how love can be saved can even be explained with the fiction there...love against any possibility. There were a lot of moves she could make sure of when she was creating the plan. the moment of explosion was just the moment of explosion of the stove and then we saw a quick transition and the whole house was on fire... There is no reason for a woman whose family, especially her father, is almost as hands-on as the deep state, reaching out to everything from cops to detectives, to act so stupidly in front of someone like Joe. ..(she learned almost every truth about him down to the details, we saw it in the second season finale.)

I think Joe’s final kill will be his Mother. It’s the perfect final kill since she’s the reason he is what he is.
I feel like now that Joe has re-announced that he is alive to the rest of the world. The Quinn family is going to come after him and it will also put Henry in the mix somehow and he'll have to either protect or run from Henry again

Midway through the season Joe gets mentally dissected he starts seeing Rhys again.

I think his relationship with Kate will be different. Because unlike love, they won’t fuel each other’s bad side, and unlike all the other girls, she truly knows who he is and but wants to help him be good while he helps her. Also, this love interest didn’t follow the same obsessive pattern we’re so used to.
We are not getting then season 5, show is about a stalker, murderer, sick man doing thing until his own end (meaning jail or being dead, there is no happy ending for him).... He is not going to stop, he will get bored with Kate. Stalkers, serial murders and people that are obsessive do not change patterns.
Please stop with this narrative. The show has consistently spelt it out to you. Season 4 even more so that Joe is not some misunderstood character. He is a serial killer who enjoys these murders. He is so established as a serial killer he even has his modus operandi or pattern of murders(which we have seen from season 1). Joe is incapable of love. He simply loves the idea of love. If you actually read or listened to stories of serial killers, Joe fits the bill quite easily so it is very disturbing that despite the list of victims he keeps growing, you somehow find ways to support his character

i hope season 5 he actually stays loyal to kate and shows how their relationship builds and at the end of the season they find some evidence or something that can put joe away and season 6 is the downfall of him losing everything and finally living up to the consequences of his own actions even if it means death or jail.

If there's a season five, I think the people he's had sent to prison won't be returning as it's too soon to be released. Maybe by the end of the season they will be exonerated but I don't think so. It's more heartbreaking thinking they are still in there and innocent. Marienne won't come back because she would prefer to stay with her daughter than risk it trying to put Joe behind bars. I think the only plausible return would be Ellie, older and looking for closure. Joe may end up being faithful to Kate, but will end up killing more people while Kate is busy with work. I believe Joe really does love Kate with the way he could only think of her when he was dying and choosing to be honest with her after he survived. I imagine after protecting Joe for awhile, Kate's conscience will eventually win out and she will end up taking her own life, leaving Joe with her fortune. I think it would be great to see him admit to his past, but I don't think they would end it in a trial and conviction because it's too obvious.
Though it was said by the creators that jenna ortega wa originally planned to be part of season 4 before the wednesday scheduling conflicts I don't think she is gonna be in the show for next season. SImply because post wednesday her pay roll is something that the show simply can't afford anymore.
I think Ellie was supposed to be the one investigating Joe instead of Nadia this season. She hates and is suspicious of Joe, so she'll have more reason to break into his apartment. She may refuse to call the police to avoid her own arrest either due to illegally being in London or Henderson's murder. And there's a bit more of an impact with Joe betraying her; maybe he even tells her that he killed Delilah to rub salt in the wound.
I hope his mother appears, I also want Ellie to be back it would be amazing if she was the one to finally put Joe in his place

There is no plausible explanation anyone could ever tell me that would convince me that this ending could've actually happened. I just have so many issues with the unbreakable plot armor joe has been accumulating progressively as each season goes on.
Surely one detective out there would at least be able to put together that joe was closely involved in the crimes, deaths and disappearances of candace, beck, love, malcom, simon, gemma, delilah, forty, peach, rhys, nadia and paco; has the show also forgotten that sherry and cary are still alive and were attacked by him (and love)? A sloppy "i made my helpless husband do it" in a suicide note doesn't change the fact he was complicit in kidnapping them. Theo also saw on the cameras that he put natalie's body in the car.
A ferret could put that all together and make a solid case against him oh but since he's left those places and has big fancy lawyers who can clean any name offscreen he's fine.
Yeah. However, though he was closely related with all those people that died, no body else has enough proof Against Joe. And those who were framed are currently facing jail term or dead( The evidence of their motives clearly added up...Thanks to Joe).
Yeah, Joe was complicit in Sheri and Cary's kidnap. But I remember them being stupid self-centered Twats. In all their Cage scenes, they only interacted with Love. Their pea brains must have found it easier to believe that Love is the true Monster...and make money out of it.
Yess...Theo did see the footage of Joe putting Natalie's body in a bag. Unlike Sheri and Cari, Theo and his dad aren't as half-witted and self-centered as them. They are smart enough to put two and two together. BUT They're also smart enough not to File any Case, Coz Joe is now A Psychopathic Billionaire who can get away with almost anything now( Not like he couldn't do it before...but now Joe doesn't just have the brains, He also has the means!!!)....So Theo and his Dad found it best to shit up and shut up. That's my best guess.
Also, remember that it is Love who attempted to kill Theo. And it is Joe who took Theo to the hospital. That sloppy *"I made my husband do it"* excuse, is now incredibly plausible to Theo and his dad...and to the entire community of Madre Linda who heard Both their story, and Sheri's.
That was my personal explanation that made me patch up those plot holes...I had to let my brain rest. Hopefully now you can too🤔

The show used to have some weight of reality to it, which made everything he did matter to the story.
Now it's basically science fiction.
The only way for it to have a satisfying ending would be if he met his demise and actually get punished for his behavior.
If it's not going to happen, it's just gonna be another Dexter..
exactly joe now fully assumes his personality the good and the bad and that he likes to kill for pleasure and the fact that he and kate want to change the world does not announce anything good for this one

The mannerisms, at the end of episode 10 show that the Reese complex is the one in control rather than “Joe”. At least that’s what I think. That would explain why he was so cold at the end.

Joe should've went to prison and written a book about his life and all that he did. Then he'd get out 20 years later, become famous and gain a crazy following, get a deal from Netflix to turn his book into a show. His mom and half-brother show up and try to play him for his money.

So many things didn't make sense about this season.
1.Joe being in cahoots with Kate's dad to kill Rhys. Him knowing Joe's real identity and what he's capable of but also not taking any type of precaution around him. Allowing him to continue being around and dating his daughter/heir.
2. Nadia and Marienne not calling the police. I know they have to further the plot, but the reasoning was nonsense. She was adamant about getting back to her daughter all of this time, but when the opportunity presented itself, she decided to stay in the cage. There's no way Joe could've talked himself out of that, and she could've killed Joe if she thought she needed to. She already said that she would.
3. The photographer storyline. What was the point of that? Phoebe and Adam's storyline? Maybe I'm missing a theme or message here. Someone let me know if I am, but I think this was useless filler. I think they were likening Joe's obsession with Rhys to Dawn's obsession with Phoebe, but was it necessary to spend so much time on this just for it not to be mentioned much thereafter?
So many loose ends and plot holes.
If you watch season 1 you can almost see Ryse (dark passenger) switch without hesitation. When Benji showed up, personality switch.When Beck was found cheating, switch up. Later seasons show that joe try's to change into a better man but he slowly deteriorates. He was more focused when he was working with his dark passenger in S1. Now he has the resources, he can work with his dark side with ease.

I just don’t understand why Rhys was selected as a disassociative personality. It could have been anyone. It worked in the season but felt random. My mind was blown. When Rhys said WE put Marianne in a cage, I was like no TF you are not going crazy Joe. And indeed he’s long past going crazy. Full fledged mental patient.
Because Joe became obsessed with him after reading his book.

thinking about company's greed, idk if the story will progress in a satisfying way, or if the seaons will drag for so long that the show just becomes a mess.
The season should start off with Ellie traveling to New York and reuniting with Joe after reading about him and Love. The entire first episode is about them reconnecting and by the end of it, two things happen. Ellie starts to get suspicious of Joe after catching him in a lie or finding out something incriminating which leads to her investigating all of the events that have surrounded him for the past four season. The second thing is just Joe watching Ellie hanging out with Kate and starts referring to her as “You”, making her the new source of his obsession. It sounds creepy and weird but it’s also Joe who we’re talking about and with this being the final season, it’s time to start fully portraying him as an unsympathetic evil psychopath that he is. Worse than he was in season 1.
Season 4 we saw the joe we have been waiting for.
The story of him killing someone "by accident"or for love,and the writers giving him excuses to make him likeable got old fast.
In the last season he became a stone cold,ruthless serial killer..I think if they had him as a vilain from the start,the show would have been an even bigger sucess.

I think he will start killing everybody that tries to reveal his identity
It would be nice if in Season 5, Joe is trapped in the cage. And the tables have turned this time.

Overall I wasn’t crazy about S4 but, the way it has everything set up for one last season is really interesting to me. And I really hope they finish on S5.

I don't understand why when Marienne was in the cage and begging him to let her out he said "I'm not joe" with a creepy smile...can anyone help me figure out what he meant or whats going on in his mind? He had never smiled like that before and it was so weird. It seemed so out of character compared to other seasons.
It was 'Rhys' but actually Joe's evil side, fractured/seperated off, which he projected on to the real Rhys he was becoming increasingly obsessed with. The Rhys of his imagination was doing all the killing and had kidnapped Marienne. That's why he knew were the key was, had Marienne's passport and knew the location of the glass prison. But really that Rhys we were seeing was Joe's imagination.
Hear me out, longer season 20 eps tying, loosen up such as Ellie, Paco, Henry, Dr. Nicky, The Conrad’s, and also Theo and his dad. I also think the show should end with Joe killing himself, or Kate putting him down like a mad dog.

Season 4 was best of all them. I mean I loved the plot and Joe actually looks like a Jonathan Moore with his new beard. His beard represents the change in his sanity. Season 4 also has a great ending where the soundtrack matched joes true self. Joe looked scary for once, it gave me chills and I think season 4 is well done

Maybe Season 5 starts with Joe time-travelling into the past and falling in with a Wild West outlaw gang. No crazier than the last season's twists.
