maybe there could be a chance, a really tiny one, its interesting hank is doing again but i was watching an interview with him where he said the only reason why he decided to do music again was that he had a huge tax bill, his first solo album is fucking awesome though, second one not so much. The newest turbonegro record has some good tracks but its also boring as fuck and there are way way way too many synthesizers. I love synthesizers, i have a shitload of them, i do not think they belong on a turbonegro record cause it takes away from what turbonegro is, a freight train of in your face no bullshit death punk. Whatever turbonegro is now just doesn't have that same drive to their songs, you can only use the "sing the song title over and over again as a chorus" before it gets boring, granted early turbonegro did that but it had that drive behind it, there were solos all over the fucking place and everything was so super tight that they could do that. Not anymore.

It's certainly not the same band anymore. And Sexual Harassment was a pretty terrible record through and through. But I give them credit for evolving - the newest LP actually has some really fantastic songs on it, some of which sound a lot like classic TN, others showing a lot of growth in songwriting ("John Carpenter Powder Ballad" immediately comes to mind).
The best concert I've ever seen was the original lineup at the Nokia Theater in Times Square circa 2006. I doubt that will ever change - it was one of those truly transcendent experiences. But I'd see the new band with Tony in a heartbeat if they came around my current stomping grounds, and I'm sure I'd have a good time. Very curious whether they are still playing at a completely ear-splitting volume... I couldn't hear for a solid 48 hours after the 2006 show.
