I can't imagine myself making it in 21 days without sugar. Salute to you for having this discipline and consciousness in food intake. You did gave us solid information about sugar. I was surprised of those old advertisements.
I do need sugar. I work night shift 4 days a week. The hospital needs alert, awake and alive nurses this pandemic lol. Be healthy, stay fit and safe. Thanks Leigh-vii for sharing.

Until now I still can't believe that a large percentage of products out there contains sugar. Almost everything that we put into our mouths has sugar. Such a super huge industry.

I was so far flung down the rabbit hole on this one! Ahhhh!! Yes, here in New Zealand our diets are very influenced by America. The only real difference is that we don't allow that "super sized" portion at a fast food place. It's just small, medium and large.
@@leighvii it honestly really frustrates me. And to think healthier options are more expensive and less convenient. It’s gotten better with fresh stores and markets but it’s scary how a lot of the ingredients here are banned in other countries!!
The pizza was amazing! My dad's chicpea flour base recipe is soooo good. 😍 Awh! Yeah it's so easy to miss my parents when I leave them each time. 💖 I only really see them a couple times a year now 😭

Sweet things to me now are REALLY strong and sickly to the point I'm thinking "nah, imma skip the sugar, I like it better without!" (Usually this is 90% of the time to do with sweet tea/coffee/cocoa for me!)

Getting over that hurdle is the tough part! It all gets SO easy afterwards though! Your taste buds change after 11-13 days!!
