I stayed in Scarborough for 2 nights last year i went to a concert at the open air theatre i recognise lot of the places you shown on this video the joke shop on the corner 😂😂.
I'll never tire of your Scarborough videos. i love walking round the shops then down Eastborough to the front. Great hearing the seagulls and Yorkshire accents !!
This brought back so many memories for me. I used to go to Scarborough as a kid with my mum & dad, sadly both are no longer alive. Part of me wanted to step into this video but be transported back to the 80's & 90's spending time with my mum & dad again wandering around the old place again. I still occasionally visit Scarborough & despite all the various places I've been to around the UK, here will always have a special place in my heart (& memories).
I was walking the same way, last year in April when I was visiting my great auntie, actually I'm from Germany and I loved and enjoyed the video you made...it really cheers me up 🥹🥳😍🥰
I absolutely love your videos! I feel as though I am there actually walking down these streets and seeing all the sights. Amazing! I am really looking forward to seeing many more. Really appreciate you sharing this experience with me and I am sure everyone else does too!!!.
Another lovely video. I'll be doing the same route through the town onto the seafront next week, the forecast doesn't look as good though as when you did the walk. Thank you for sharing 😊
I been there for a weekend few years ago,it was amazing, this place is magical, alot of shops, good food, amercian diner, lovely beach, tramp and many many more, depo we will be back there soon✌️ great video
Another wonderful video. I really enjoy seeing all the places you film. It's so interesting to see different towns and cities. but Scarborough is my favourite and has a very special place in my heart.
Have loved all your Scarborough walks and this is no exception. Lovely sunny day and the sound of seagulls and of course the beach what more could you want 👍😀 so keep on walking thanks ❤️
Absolutely loved this, thank you! I love Scarborough. You asked what else.. I'd love one of York as it's been a few years since I've been - oh! And the Yorkshire Dales. God bless x
Loved the video I have not be to Scarborough since the 70's but I remember the walk from the station down the hill to the beach. I always loved the harbour and seeing the fish being unloaded off the trawlers. Happy memories thank you
We where visiting a year or so ago we paid nearly £50 pounds for two adults return from Scarborough to York it was like a cattle truck we always wanted to take the train but not at that price a local said oh they are always cancelling trains and it’s always like this we will just go for the park and ride again we just wanted to see what the train journey was like nice enough journey ie scenery that’s it we love Scarborough greetings from Scotland 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

Awesome video of Scarborough 👍 Just got back today from Scarborough had s weekend away with my hubby it was our Wedding Anniversary we got married at the Grand Hotel ...had a fab time .❤️will look out for more of your Scarborough videos 👍
This looked like the same route we took to get to Scarborough, then we took the funicular railway down to the sea level. The ten years I lived in England, I must have been then 15 to 20 times! Always a good time! I miss it greatly. Thanks for giving me another day there! :)
When we stayed there a few years ago, we were at the Norbreck which was up by the castle, and that climb to it from the beach is deadly on your calves.
Went here about 2 months ago on a week long coach trip,it was fantastic, and the food at the hotel was also great, would reccomend a visit if you can,the people here are also extremely friendly so yeah.
Ah the sound of the seagulls always makes me happy 😊 I'm mancunian but strangely enough when I'm there every summer I seem to develop a Yorkshire accent haha well that's what happens when scarbs has been your 2nd home for 27 years 🤣😂💞 it's sad to see the town centre looking a bit shabby now I remember woolworths and all the other shops back in the early to mid 2000s I miss my childhood here old scarbados at least boyes is still there 🔙💗❤
If travelling by car to Scarborough take in a lap on Olivers Mount, stop at the war memorial and the view over Scarborough is magnificent and why not park your car up at the bottom at the Mere cafe and have a walk round the lakes there ?
Another brilliant video, you know by now this is my fave place in the world so really love these vlogs. Hoping to go for the day now in March, and have our weekly holiday as usual in August but your videos are like me being there ❤️
Great vid, love Scarborough it’s as interesting in the town and back streets as it is on the beech front. Have you walked to Anne Brontes grave yet? That could be in your next Scarborough video 😀👍🏻 love the channel .
Been to Scarborough thousands of times but funnily never been onto the harbour, we pop over most weeks and park up on sea front under the castle to watch dolphins great video thanks.
You have just walked past my mother's cousins tattoo shop and he's sons tattoo shop was at the top of eastborough. Rob's tattoos, and King Arthur's, he's been there over 50 years.
The Grand Hotel -- If memory serves me, that's the place where James Heriot was stationed when he was in the RAF. The book about it was "Vets Might Fly". I notice the seagulls there speak the same language as ours. When I go down to the beach, I have two of them that recognize me and sit by the car.
I watched Little Voice on TV a couple of weeks ago. A great film and a treat for Michael Caine and detective Vera fans. I presume the chippy you mention was where Little Voice and her mum lived above the (derelict) shop in the film. A lovely walk in a lovely town. A very well produced video. Thanks.
The Little Voice flat is on a street near the station, a little walk past the police station. That part was filmed just up the roads from where I lived as a student.
@@danielthompson4463 Thanks for that Daniel. The (now demolished) shop and flat was on Trafalgar St West according to Reel Streets website which I find reliable for film locations. The Leeds chippy is on the corner of Eastborough and Merchants Row.
