Of course the city is magnificent. Thank you for this lovely walk through my old neighborhoods. I was a paper boy in Pacific Heights, in 7th grade.

San Francisco is a great American city, its beauty is indeed majestic. However, this is very much a city in transition, and much needs to be done especially pertaining to grave income disparity, and high cost of living. This being said there is a great need for new leadership as residents are disillusioned with a mayor overwhelmed and inept. There are brighter days ahead, hang in there!

we can start by not sending billions and billions of dollars to Israel and Ukraine and by getting rid of every single US overseas military base and instead defend our own borders from an illegal immigrant invasion, these are society ending issues here. Now go enjoy your suburb.

Love your wonderful walks, thanks! City has many issues to face but still pretty amazing. One most show the recent improvements along with the negatives to get a true picture. I am a 73 year old native who has retired to the desert for health but spent many years walking S.F. The past city did not have Crissy Field walk, Francisco Park, Chase Center, Salesforce Park, the Chinatown Muni extension just to name a few. This shouldn't minimize the problems but illustrate a city far from the ridiculous doom and gloom scenario so popular with the right wing media.
Always experience a place in person. I have traveled all over the world and was told to avoid Rio and Amsterdam. Thankfully I ignored the nay sayers and loved the cities. Again, keep exploring a city which is very memorable and unique in America and I am so thankful for you taking us along to see for ourselves.

It's beautiful . I love it, but now is a transition time to deal with serious realities and not rest on romanticized images. Outside the City, the world sees what's going on . They want to see the City come rise back .

Don't let Fox News try to convince you that San Francisco is a horrible, dirty. crime ridden place. The majority of the city is beautiful, clean and safe. This video is a recent view of the city by the bay.

Still doesn't change the fact that white liberals have made San Francisco what it is today... a modern day shit hole under the guise of luxury for elitists.

That's my home town. From the avenues: router Richmond district. Our house is unaffordable now. The only people who live in outer Richmond are rich or have multiple roommates. None of my family lives there anymore. It's no longer a real city. The poor and lower class are long gone... or homeless. Have you seen downtown or the tenderloin? It's disgusting. Market Street is no longer a real street: it's a staging area for cabs, buses, streetcars: it's no different from Disneyland... except for the crime happening right there in broad daylight. Golden Gate Park: one of the greatest parks in the world is full of drunks and addicts and homeless. All you know is the RICH districts, which is most of the city. Have a great time tourists: real people don't live there anymore. Some people live in their fantasies and couldn't see reality if it hit them upside the head.

Nice mood-mode, anyways, as always in PH; highly therapeutic even if it takes another reincarnation to be residing there. We are all just visitors, esp now w WW3 lurking & smoldering. How encouraging ...🇫🇮

California's GDP is the highest in the nation, 4.8 trillion. It is the largest exporter a food in commodities in the country. What's the revenue of 11.8 billion yearly. Parts of it are physically beautiful but the culture is really off. It’s driven away most of the artists and musicians and now feels bland and dry. Unfortunately for the past 20 years the city has been replaced by really lame techies with very little flavor.

😂 In San Francisco, once a city of grace,
Far-left policies now take center stage.
With crime on the rise and the homeless abound,
The once-golden streets now wear a frown.
Politicians preach of equality and rights,
But chaos ensues under progressive lights.
Tech giants thrive, while the streets decay,
As the city's soul slowly slips away.
Tents line the sidewalks, parks overrun,
As residents wonder, "What have we done?"
    Progressive dreams turn into nightmares,
With each passing day, the burden bears.
Oh, San Francisco, once a shining gem,
Now tarnished by politics, what a condemnable trend.
As the city crumbles under misguided rule,
The satire of its demise becomes the cruel.

You "believing" it was "the left" that screwed up San Francisco is HILARIOUS. Major alt-right / greed-based DEVELOPERS with corrupt politician "puppets" of all sorts 'bought and sold' San Francsico to (a) make money building the city up high-rise and then (b) FLEE with that money, leaving the present EMPTY hideous buildings, VAST wealth-vs-poverty divide, and every one sane in tears. Your "analysis" sucks but your "poetry" is even more horrific.
