These are not indoor studio mics. You shouldn't use them for that. These are portable lav mics meant for on location - the sound quality does not compete with boomed mics in a studio. Is there an audio jack for lavaliere mic ?
unfortunately no. it’s intended for grab and go and to just clip the transmitter to your clothes
hi, which has smaller transmitter?
the Hollyland is a tiny bit smaller. but both are really small
How do we use the safety track on comica vimo c?
press the button on the side and it will cycle between mono, stereo, and safety
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis thank you! andd from your opinion, in long term content creation, which one sounds the best between these two?? and which one is easier to use espescially on the go?
thanks much dude for the video! really need it
Incredible video, you helped me to decide 👍🔥😇
what about dji mic? Thank's!
DJI sounds a bit better and has more features. it’s also much more expensive.
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis Thank you for the quick answer. I really enjoy watching your channel every day.

RagdollRocket
I was set on ordering the Hollyland until I saw the tiny screen on the Comico reciever. I like seeing the audio levels and settings instead of guessing.
that’s a fair point for sure
Hi Mark, plugged in my Comica to my ZV-E10 and the reciever is showing everything working but when I record the sound still seems to be coming from the on board mic. Is there a setting I need to change on the E10 or plug the mic in before turning the camera on etc?
Just check you have the 3.5mm cable plugged in securely. Sometimes it seems like it's in - but it needs an extra push to click all the way in.
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis I am an idiot. I was plugging in to the headphones 🤣 so used to that area being the mic input.
🤣🤣Well at least you figured it out!!
Hi uncle mark recently i have problem with my zve10 it flickering alot with yellow light i tried plugin but it losing quality could you help me how to avoid flickering on zve10 in the frist place i am so devastated plz help me.
if you are in North America, your camera should be set to NTSC. if you live almost anywhere else in the world, you need to set you camera to PAL. the power grids in PAL countries flicker at 50hz so you pr camera will pick up this flickering in the lights.
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis thank you uncle right im in ntsc mode and i live in asia and this is the most anoying thing i hate about this camera. I will try pal mode hopefully it will fix
Hello from Western Canada, living in BC. The Comica is much better without noise cancelling.
absolutely
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis You get to meet Gerald and Casey down there in the big T as I know they are also there.
I should try to get to Vancouver, I am moving a few hours away and meet up with Linus.
Mark your videos are amazing! Thank you very much for such great content. Which lens did you use in Zv-e10? How is your background with this beautiful bokeh?
It's almost always the Sigma 16mm 1.4
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis thanks for your reply. That's an awesome lens.
NR does not sound great, but for live videos in noisy areas? Pretty slick
Mark the Comica Vimo C is 24bit (16bit the Lark) and this should give it a better dynamic range at least theorically ...
yes great note thx
What Camera Mod you are using while Vlog ?
That would have been cine2 with he Leeminglut
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis thank you!
Guys I’m going to the a camera shop to get microphone buh is it the Comica Vimo C the same as Comica vimo c3?
Yes - it has all the mics and accessories - they sell other versions that have less stuff.
I use the Rode Wireless Go on my zv-e10, and just getting a great sound. Nice work!
rode is one of the best
I'll go for Comica because the safety track works better for me
safety track is great. plus that screen is a giant help
You did great of informing in a funny way…I bought the comica
Mark Bennett is Intelligent, Funny, Handsome and we love and enjoy everything he makes. He’s basically a rockstar and a pop star and a jazz star combined. Thank you sir❤
😂😂
Thank you so much, very helpful
Wireless microphones are amazing! You should make more videos about wireless microphones ;-)
you know I will 🤣
Damn, I already bought the Deity Pocket Wireless from your recommendation for Black Friday. No ragrets
deity is cheaper and has better audio quality. your choice is solid. this one is for having two transmitters that you can clip quickly.
Love my hollyland M1 👍👍
Great review.
I was debating between these two mics and went with the Comica in hopes to be able to get better audio with my beekeeping videos without picking up the bees or wind noise as much. I'm hoping this will do the trick.
How did it do!?!
@@amparodavila1009 I think it did good.
I'm not an audio expert, but I think it does a good job. Less wind noise and picks up my voice better. Love that it has the charging case and have never ran out of charge. I just charge it when I remember and that's worked out for me.
@@TexasBeekeeper ahh okay perfect then 😁 thanks for the reply
I don't like that fuzzy thing clipping onto my neck area. It looks weird but the sound is acceptable
can’t blame you. that’s why I like the lark 150 the most
You need to do these tests inside.
These are not indoor studio mics. You shouldn't use them for that. These are portable lav mics meant for on location - the sound quality does not compete with
boomed mics in a studio. It's better than the cameras mic (which is of course bad), but not as good as a boomed mic. Won't sound great in a studio.
Love all your videos.. but for newbie's you should have explained visually how the product connects to the camera. Also you assume people know what you mean about laviar mics...
As always your very entertaining
it attaches with the 3.5mm cord - it’s really h only option - but a visual would be nice
I want to hide the mic.. so please add magnetic or something. Comica is less distracting so it's better than lark m1 in this aspect. Anyways thanks for the high quality review.
You can flip them around so the clip is out and it's less noticeable - but I prefer the regular lavs because you can hide them under shirts
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis lark m1 was quite noticeable even when it's flipped. Hope Comica is different. And yeah, lav-able would be great too
LOL!! Little Don King wigs!! 🤣
Thanks
Great review, and so handsome.....not fair on the rest of us.
I've got it all
I’m still hete in 2024 buying one ☝️ thanks for the encouragement
I think Lark's noise cancelling sounds better.
it does - but I wouldn’t really use either myself
Comica Rocks….
the hollyland noise canceling function is way quieter in my opinion
It is for sure. But I wouldn’t use either really 😃
It makes 0 sense why they dont give you the lav input as an option all of these would sell so much better, they'd be perfect
I really wish they would
Noise canceling should be banned. Add another features instead already!
agree
Noise canceling sucks …It’s a big nope for me
never use the noise cancelling on these things. or pretty much any wireless lav that has it
I buy all the things you talk about. I worry you'll be hearing from my wife, I warn you in advance.
she can complain along with my wife 😂
