The fact that Ayanokouji plans to use Kei as an experiment in order to find out more about human emotion really proves that, from a certain perspective, Ayanokouji's father's White Room experiments are a complete failure. Most candidates that survive White Room are so emotionally broken (or devoid of emotion altogether) that it's near impossible for them to survive in the society.
So basically what his experiments produce are peak-human, hyper-intelligent husks that are lacking any human emotions. Which makes me wonder what's his long-term plan for his test subjects. He wants put them through gruelling training to prove a point and then what?🤔

He most likely wants to make elite pawns that he could use. That's probably why they don't have emotions. A highly intelligent husk is easy to control if they don't know how to feel emotions.
He was also heartless enough to use his own son as a experiment.
Volume 0 of COTE is from Kiyotaka’s father’s POV, and it shows how and why he started White Room and kinda how Kiyotaka escaped and enrolled in NTHS!
But put simply, power. That man is a politician. He grew himself from nothing, but ended up in a position forced to all the dirty work giving credit to others. The White Room project, after proving his point they’ll eventually lead the future of Japan, I guess. As it is so high risk, it’s all in his name, for once. But if he fails he’ll have to take the fall for abusing so many children, of course.
the episode was adapted more or less well compared to the novel, they only cut an additional conservation with tsukishiro but otherwise it was adapted and animated well too. even though I already know the story I can't wait for the S4 to come out, I hope that the news of the new student in the white room creates hype so maybe they will announce the Season first! 10/10
in terms of history I think that s4 and s5 will be the best seasons

One of the most conflicted feeling confessions i've ever seen in anime. Like I'm ecstatic for the girl finally getting the guy she wants but he's clearly just toying with her; you can tell the moment the words leave his mouth. Not to mention, it helps repair the cover that the people around them have been slowly chipping at so it looks like a strategic move as well. The romantic music almost makes the scene more unnerving because you know the show is taking the confession at face value.
the anime left it out, but in the LN he states during his monologue that he wishes that he will become a student who loves her and will protect her, but knows it is impossible which is where he sends up the prayer for that to happen
Like someone else in the comments said essentially, Ayanokoji seems to actually care for her somewhat from the looks of it. Or wishes he could. He’s not doing it *entirely* to play with her emotions. Which really could be seen as a plus.

Bro i only watched season 1 and 2 once. 2017 and 2021.
Season 3 was so good. Finally i understood more and got used to characters.
Season 1 and 2 was confusing and i can only remember small memory parts but mostly my brain said "confusing".
So i watched season 3 right now and totally forgot what season 1 and 2 were and totaly forgot what and how ajanokoji is really like the darkness.
So i thought this season was so chilling because they all were like new personalites who grow up fast and better and nice but also cruel to those who dont deserve mercy.
For me the last episode of season 3 is a good happy season ending since I see it very positive and yes tool but he cares for this tool and wants to be part of society and humanity or at least a normal human with her.
This whole experiment of school is he is trying to become real human like natural normal humans because he didnt experience real life outside of white room.
So live itself is experiment for ayanakoji and by experementing he becomes more and more human without him noticing.
I think in the end he will be eaten and crushed and accept it and gain a normal human average life with kei because love and women

Ok you say he dropped kei but maybe he has to so he can achieve his goal to be top class A. So he had to leave here. Maybe just for a while. And its also good for her own growth. Also in the end when the final school experiment project is finshed and ayanokoji learned everything about humans he should find love in the end to live for. And Kei is that.
I think thats the final goal that you can learn every skill and attribute but last is love to conquer everyday.

He's having health issues with his back rn, so I'm pretty sure he will delay the next volume for year. I did hear that year 2 has 2 more volumes until year 3 so there's that, but I wouldn't hold my breath for a new volume or season soon.

I really enjoyed watching Classroom of the Elite (Anime) Season 3, but I sure hope we'll get a Classroom of the Elite Season 4 or at least a Classroom of the Elite: Year 2 Season 1 someday in the future. Just hope it doesn't take too long for it to be made.

The fact that he is trying to use Kei has a experiment of human emotions is interesting and a bit adorable, this might mean Ayanokoj deeply in his heart want to be a normal guy of his age, and not only a super smart human.
As a girl I feel so sad for Kei. She genuinely likes him… What’s more disappointing is seeing other guys in the comments showing support to this behavior. I hope she finds someone who likes her back.
in the LN it's pretty clear that he likes her too, in his own psychopathic way ofcourse but he does love her, they skipped many moments and scenes where he talks about it
@@ar3k417 he doesn't like her at all he bluntly admitted in Vol9.5 that it's impossible for him to do so it's more so of convenience now at this point and Vol9 to Vol11 focus on that aspect of Koji only real change he actually showed was is with Horikita (yes he got developed emotionally in front of Horikita and actually admits to value her more than anything which even Koenji pointed out but he doesn't know why he is so worried about her) these development caught many LN reader off guard, he only ever consider Hiyori and Horikita as Geniune Friends in latest volume
