Man God is the man antagonist of the series ,he didn't want rudeus to go there because if he goes there then Roxy sensei will be saved(who is gonna rudeus second wife in future) and if she's alive and make a kid with rudeus,then the descendents of that kid in the future is gonna defeat man God .(That's basically a prophecy)

For me, the labyrinth arc is Mushoku Tensei Peak.
The most emotional part in LN.
it was this arc, like the entire 12th volume, that made Mushoku Tensei the best isekai

Oh man this was such an emotional arc in LN. I'm sure I will get the same feeling in anime too.
I pray every day that they’ll never stop making more and more seasons of this anime. I’d give anything to see this anime be completed down to the final chapter.
so with 5 episodes left in this season, i seriously hope (even if it means we have to wait) that the best part will be in season 3 because i dont want this to be rushed and stuffed into 5 episodes. but who knows maybe 5 is enough time
5 episodes for one light novel book is more than enough though, dont worry. normally it would be 4 eps or less if rushed. We should be fine
They will definetely do Volume 12 complete in these 5 eps, withough a doubt
There's actually 6 episodes for this and that's more than enough.
Suppose that in the first and half of the second they arrive where Paul is and at the end of the second they are about to enter the maze. Third ends with Rudeus on the third floor, fourth they reach the fifth floor, fifth is the epic fight and sixth is the ending of the saga.
A little rushed? Maybe in the end but otherwise I feel like it will be good
nah, they're clearly fitting it all in what's left of this season. 5 episodes feels about right, to be honest. That being said... the wait for next season is going to be extra hard following this arc

Why is Rudy using fire magic on a hydra that seems to be adept in fire use like I don’t think this is a fight fire with fire situation plus doesn’t Rudy specialize in water magic?
The hydra regenerates. So when paul cuts one of his heads rudy uses his fire magic to burn the cut so it can't regenerate.
Rudy made this strategy and it worked very well.

I am really hyped for the new arc especially because I have read the Light Novels but I must say that Rudy seems kinda off.
In the time where the Labyrinth Arc happens Rudeus looks 2 or 3 years older then he looks here in the Trailer.
In the Light Novel he looked like a mature 21 year old indstead of an athletic 17 year old teenager.
But the rest is beautiful I am really hyped for the season.
The light novel illustrations make him seem more heroic because he's the MC and the artist's artstyle works that way.
Yeah I know what you mean but the anime shouldnt have a reason not to adapt that.
When I imagine the situations that are gonna happen in this arc a teenager Rudeus doesnt really fit in.

As exmple when Roxy is trapped in the Dungeon and Rudeus finds her, Roxy doesn´t know who is saving her. She thinks it is a mature yound adventurer. With this younger artstyle of Rudeus this situation can´t really work that way and the anime probably needs to rewrite that scene a little bit.

You know, something I've always wondered is whether or not Rudeus' internal voice/body will be replaced with his current one. For example, Imagine that when he speaks to Man God, that instead of being in his Fat body from his previous, he's instead Rudeus; the one we know.

The story, characters and world building are amazing I agree. If you like anime like this I recommend Frieren or Vinland Saga

i wish they would do an ova or a movie for old dragons tails at some point. i imagine they will end this season with turning point 4 teaser and giving us old dragon tails between that and the next season would be sick and help people understand the upcoming arcs more.
